I was sitting by the side of a multistoried fan which did not work and
made my life miserable and >the beautiful things Hilda was speaking could

Ooh la la! .. 2 complaints in one sentence!~ But I know what Albert means.
The heat is on here & it is definitely not comfortable sitting in the
church or anywhere else for that matter... so one can neither pray nor does
one listen to what others are saying as one has to keep fanning oneself with
whatever is at hand. Thankfully, the sound system is working fine here. The
airconditioning gets fits in summer, & there are no fans available.... the
electrical fittings & equipment feel the heat too.... perhaps? around the
world & not just in Saligao???
is 2 +2 = 4. We had the maintaince fund which our wise fools have merged
with the fabrica fund. >Now we cannot do anything about it.
Exactly! But remember that those wise fools were Saliganvkars who didnt want
to listen to a few good, honest & wise men from Saligao. (the latter have
now got out of that committee) So the Saliganvkars have themselves to
blame....
The second wise thing is to start another maintainance fund but we have to
wait for the next centenary year.....
Continuation of my previous paragraph ....... & I know that many
Saliganvkars are not willing to give away their money anymore. Lack of
trust, etc.......Centenary Year? Phew!
