Client Software Engineers significantly contribute to the architectural vision of our Human Capital Management software products by making strategic design and development decisions that affect our overall technical direction. Technical responsibilities include the design, development, and maintenance of product line. We are seeking a hands-on engineer experienced in developing web applications using Java for an independent software vendor (ISV).
Major responsibilities:
• Follow best practices (SCRUM, Refactoring, code standards, TDD, Unit Testing)
• Determine tradeoffs, estimates, and overall approach to work as an individual contributor
• Collaborate with Product Development and QA to clarify requirements and designs.
• Streamline and automate the build process to ensure the timely and accurate release of the software.
• Participate in the design and development of automated testing of the software products.
• Participate in the design and development of automated packaging and deployment of the software

- This is a backend Javaspring Developer who has 5+ years of experience. Needs to have worked in a Test Driven Development and Agile environment. 85% - Backend; 15% front end/UI. Core Java/Backend SQL. Uses Oracle v119.
Must Have:
• Experience with Test Driven Dev and Agile environment
• Backend 85%; UI 15%
• Junit (or some other tool) for testing Java code
Strong Plus:
• Maven, Ant, Jenkins
