No clues; perhaps this SMTP callback is performed only under certain
conditions -- for example, for messages coming from cvs.savannah.gnu.org. The
sysadmins will tell.
Meanwhile, this is a legitimate way to perform sender verification. Your
mail service is not RFC compliant, so the actual problem is in your yard.
Let's wait for the sysadmins comments.
