The logs show nothing untowrad - no reconnections, no catchups, and,
according to the meta tag, is playing proeprly and completes. I've
written to my IP about it, and there is noting untoward happening
server end either. (Actually, he pointed to the other ticket very
similar to my problem (his was 'hiccuping . . ')

When ls informed me that the port was taken, I went back to my liq script
and commented out the mp3 (shoutcast section) and continued to work with
vorbis output alone.

However, when I attempted to do both, I found out there was a problem not
only with the port, but that sc_serv was non-functioning. After that was
corrected (yesterday) it still refuses to recognize the port, so I dumped
shoutcast for the time being.

The problem occurs with liquidsoap and icecast on the same host.

The stream sounds great - no double speed - it plays for 17 seconds, pauses
7 seconds, resumes for anotehr 17 seconds, . . .
