Don't forget carrots too.  Mine love them and I use them as a fill for
regular feed when I get one thats a little over weight.  Get the same
quantity of food, only with carrots instead of the fattening, protien filled
kibble.  Works well and they love it.

Raw carrots are a wonderful, non fattening snack for them as well.
