I'm sure it must have been InverSNECKY Fireman, after the song by Harry
Gordon. Gordon, a humorous singer and monologuist, created quite a body of
work based on his mythical Scots town of Inversnecky, including "The
Inversnecky Scaffy":
Sweep, sweep, sweep, sweep, up and doon the toon,
Early in the mornin' you'll see me on my roon,
Me and the barrow, the shovel and the brush,
Whistling like a linty, singing like a thrush.
