Damn, I can't remember the first JSD concert I went to, but the one
that sticks in my mind was Summer of '72 at Pitlochry, the year
before I went to Uni. We had camped by the Loch side and had run out
of money midweek due to unforeseen circumstances(i.e. they had pubs
and girls there, duh!). Luckily, I put my last ten bob(apart from
the rail fare back to Perth) on a treble in the wee bookies in
Pitlochry. It came up, so we had enough money to stay till the
weekend and go to the open air concert after all. It was also
instrumental in my going to uni but that's another story.
