Hi everyone,

I've recently been in contact with Richard Stallman (_the_ rms) about some
stuff and happen to mention SLUG. He, not surprisingly, "took offense" at
the `L', saying that it should be GNU/Linux as Linux is "only" the kernel
and the majority of the OS is either directly FSF software or else GPLed.

I personally agree and use GNU/Linux when I'm writting it down (and when I
can remember to :) But "GNU/Linux" takes more syllables than straight
"Linux" so I never bother when speaking.

So the question is: should we be call ourselves the "Scottish GNU/Linux
Users Group" or the "Scottish Linux Users Group"?
