I'd have to agree with Lawrence, SLUG is the most viable name for the
group...as he points out, there are many licenses spread throughout a
"distribution".

In fact, there are even different licenses in the core Kernel, with some
code being still covered by the UCB (of BSD) fame (try a find
/usr/src/linux | xargs grep -i regents).

The thing that unites all "Linux" distributions, is the Kernel, which is
the Linux Kernel, the only possible alteration in name (and I say this
in jest) is towards a Scottish Free Unix Group (since I know I'm not
alone in running non-Linux systems), but to tell the truth, I'm happy
with SLUG as a name...if it's good enough for Sydney, it's good enough
for me!
