I was at that talk I mentioned yesterday, by Richard Chassell from the free software
federation and he mentioned that he did not like "Linux" being used to describe both
the kernel and the distribution. I of course agree with this fact, though when I am
talking to people who know this fact I often talk about just plain "Linux"

Anyway to the point - I think it would be a good idea to change the name, however
SGLUG doesn't flow as well as SLUG, so how about GLUGS - Gnu/Linux User Group for
Scotland or Gnu/Linux User Group of Scotland. It seems that the #glugs channel is free
on irc.openprojects.net and I cannot find any other reference to glugs on the web.

What does everyone else think about this.

Steven.
