Hi Guys: A few methods were mentioned on working with web pages. Scripting Web Pages is diferent from scripting a Desktop App. You do need to know html and java script and the necessary tools to load and interact with the web page. Pick a programming, ie scripting, tool that allows you to interact with the page, not just scrape and execute a process to fire up a url, if you can. I don’t have time to get back into web programming and, or, scripting but read about the tools mentioned in this thread so far to see which offer some form of interaction with the page - I think UIA might allow for things like clicking on something if it has that property or method set in the native or managed UIA structure and you do need to know html and likely java script if you are going to be working with itprogramatically. Do your homework, pick the right tool for the job and I think there should be a way to work with web pages - if not from a standard Windows Script Model approach then from a external program or even an external script. But I would first see if there wasn’t a much, much easier way of working-around this current problem. As Aaron and I have asked, what is the url of the web page in question? And, how do I get to the actual list of links that are inactive? Finally, have you tried another screen reader like JAWS to determine if the links are active at all with a screen reader or is the problem WindowEyes isolated? Rick USA
