Can you explain me what A virtual mode means in that context?

If you are talking about Internet navigation NVDA has The navigation mode. NVDA 
also has wrappers to win 32 functions.

While Jaws scripting also needs to be considered, The ability to script and 
nvda should have a higher priority, because now there is only one commercial 
solution and we are not sure about what they are going to do, including but not 
limited to pricing. The only viable option we have two survive should the 
commercial option set rules that we can't support is nvda. Monopoly always 
scares me.
