well your wish just might come true, word on the street is [ according to a
letter my friend sent me] sunny day signed to sire records. as did sebadoh
[we think subpop has some deal working w/sire now]
as far as "emo" going maistream i have no problem w/that. it means we
[meaning those in bands currently] can cash in on the stupid people of
amerika who patiently wait for mtv to tell them what is cool and what isnt!
[i am currently listening to mudhoneys "the money will roll right in" as i
type this...] but anyway, whatever happens with the scene can produce good
[+] and bad [-]. [+] money for band members who want to go to school but can
afford it. [-] tinny boper girls running around with their get-up kids
shirts neatly tucked into their gap jeans.
