Sorry. It is a mature editor, though.
In the world at large, though, TM has a way to go.
I can believe that. Stuff you use very heavily generally takes about a decade.
For working on a large scale project (like in my work), TM just isn't going to cut it. For that we need extraordinarily strong project (even system) wide tagging support (i.e. Slickedit which does exist on the Mac, but the UI as a whole is less than desirable, and it sure cannot be called affordable).
