Rather annoyingly everything seems to be working fine today. My LMS
server hibernated overnight, so stopping and starting LMS may have
helped - but I struggle to understand why all bar one device were
connecting.

Today none of my mobile apps on my Samsung galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition
can connect to lms... They have been working fine up until now... And
all the same apps work on my HTC one.
The error message is:
Failed to connect to (ip address) (port 9000) after 6000MS: isconnected
failed :EHOSTUNREAC
Rgro... You may need to put it on a USB stick rather than a sd card.

I think that is the key issue - my family (at least my wife, 15 yo and 6
yo) have absolutely no trouble with them - but my they get frustrated
when I have to reboot the server/ the internet g
I agree with this sentiment wholeheartedly! I might have given up doing
some of the things I have now successfully attempted without this
support...

me point our copyright laws and/ or music distribution needs to
catch up with current usage. I buy physical CDs (often second hand) as
it is the most efficient way to get high bit rate music... but I don't
necessarily want to buy things that I rip once then need to archive,
which itself is legall
of a muchness ...
My family, on the other hand, couldn't give two hoots. Although they
do like the convenience of the SBs ...

I've just sp;otted that LAME needs to be installed on the server for
transcoding. As I am using an NAS I believe that is problematic. Tha,
commbines with pfarrell's post, means I think I'll have to avoid this
:(

Thanks for the update. Generally great, as is iPeng... however the
changing player when you pop in and out of iPeng makes using it
difficult- I keep on making the Radio in the bedroom play inappropriate
music... any idea on when a fix will be ready?

that they have removed the player from his account... si I'll see if

I've just tried what you suggest, and I can see the stream in iPeng, but
it won't play anything. Any thoguhts? Alternatively, how long before
the next version of iPeng is available, so I don't have to do it this
way?!!
