Will there be a way to activate line in in the next version? Thats

I've used iPeng on my iPhone for a long time and was generally pretty
happy with it. My biggest issue is that I find the interface for
adding songs to a playlist a bit confusing (single song vs. whole
album, replace playlist vs. insert next vs. add to end), but I think
that's largely my problem,
Perhaps it would still be possible to let the icon show the actual model
(in combination with a string)? I find it a bit confusing the player
icon doesn't show the correct model of the selected player.

Sorry if slightly cross-posting but I saw on the web UI that there is a
later version of Squeezecenter (7.5.4) than the one I have (7.5.1). Is
that stable and worth upgrading to and is there anything to look out
for?
Thanks to everybody again

Sounds like something to do with your tagging. Check the tags and also
the SBS setup where it gives you options to define tagging: artist,
album artist, band, etc.

7.5.4 was released last week. I have been using it since January, when
it was still beta. I haven't had any problems with it, and haven't seen
massive reports of problems, but as always at least some users are
having problems that they attribute to the upgrade. I'd advise
upgrading because 7.5.4 c

Try the house I'm in at the moment. Not just solid brick between rooms
but 10"+ of stone. Wifi can be hard to pickup 10 meters away from the
hotspot in a different room.
Strategically placed repeaters and POE are the only way to get a decent
signal throughout.

I don't like Apple or iTunes or any of this. however, a number of new
receivers from Onkyo, Denon, etc. are supporting AirPlay and it would
be nice to use one of them as an addition to the Squeezebox network and
let me put one of my SB units in another room. Thoughts?

I used to have this problem on my SB Classic-Squeezeserver when I added
songs to a Playlist which I later saved. Had something to do with the
path I had defined for Saved Playlists. Somehow SS saw
saved-playlist-tracks as new entries to add to the database.
Are your "doubles" songs you've saved

I just wanted to add that I've replaced my SB3 with a Touch and I am
very pleasantly surprised at the improvement in sound quality. No need

if it did set me back 189 UKP.

As long as the pixi has a palm profile and that profile was created
while the phone was in a country which can have paid apps in the App
Catalog, you should be able to buy Squeeze Control even without
registering the device with a carrier.
