The recommended K3 to KRC2 communication is to use the AUXBUS signalling
for band signalling. The AUXBUS signal is on pin 2 of the K3 ACC
connector with the return path at pin 5 (ground). You can get a "Y"
connector to bring the ACC signals out to both the Navigator and the
KRC2ACC.

My 40-somethingth Field Day, but the first with my KX-3.
Small lithium ion battery ran it all weekend, at the 5w level.

Brian,
Those button functions on the KRC2ACC firmware do different things than
the basic KRC2 firmware.
If you have the KRC2ACC firmware loaded, it will not pass the tests
given in the basic KRC2 manual.
You could download and install the KRC2 firmware for that testing, and
then install the KR

the checkout procedures for the -ACC version differed from the basic
version. Everything checks out FB.

Brian-
Your original post said you were working on the KRC2. Your last post stated
you had it configured as the KRC2ACC. The KRC2ACC uses different firmware,
and behaves differently than the basic KRC2. The KRC2ACC accessibility
upgrade and operation instructions indicate how the KRC2ACC firmware
