Sharyl,
I'm so sorry you lost Daisy. I've had several FelV cats who lost
the use of their back legs, and this seems to be a very common
thing. I don't know exactly what causes their legs to stop
working, but it happens. If anyone in the group knows the actual
cause I'd like to know.

I had to have Daisy, one of my yard ferals, PTS today. She had lost the use of
her back legs. I've had her in a cage for several days trying to see if she
would recover. The vet and I are guessing complications from FeLV. I never had
her tested

Thanks for this and your good wishes, Heather--I'll try an archive search using
those words (uneven pupil size).
I had never heard of spastic pupil syndrome either, until now.
Your 15-year-old feral cat...what a trooper.
I sure hope Daisy wins this one...she's only about 3.
She has a lot
Barb and Jenny,
Thanks so much. Using different search words in the archives helped.

Last night, rather early this morning my cat Daisy jumped up on my bed and
woke me up with her attack play. She does this sometimes when she wants out.
Well I let her out and got back in bed. Now Spike was using the litter box
and I smelled really strong urine. I moved to turn my light on to make
Sally. I don't know if this is behavioral or a sign she may have a UTI. I
would guess if she urinates inappropriately again a vet visit would be in order.

her food before
she can. She usually goes back out in an hour. Daisy has a delicate stoamch
too. Will puke undigested food several times a week. It was better when I
had them on IAMS, but I can hardly afford food for myself.
Thanks
Sally

Hi all
Daisy was spayed yesterday. She did just fine. She got outside a total of 3
times in the past month waiting for her appointment. The last time was this
past saturday. I chased her for 25 minutes. The tomcat was chasing as well.
Finally Ittle Bitty, my big ol loverboy chased tom off
