Hey Everyone,
I have been at this for a week now, going from amd64 to x86. I still want to
use 2.6.30-r5. When trying to build vmware-server this is the error I am
presented with:
/var/tmp/portage/app-emulation/vmware-modules-1.0.0.15-r2/work/vmmon-only/linux/driver.c:

G'day,
I have dosemu-1.4.0.1 on my AMD X2 system. The keyboard seems to
be overly sensitive. Most of the time hitting a key results in 2
copies of the letter on the command line. For example, typing "d"
results in "dd".
What setting should I change to fix this?
Thanks.
David

This is utterly and completely wrong on so many levels it doesn't deserve an
explanation.

Both statements are so very far from the truth:
Firstly, PV Xen guests require no hardware virtualization supp
Hi,
As some may know already, I recently got DSL. It's not a super fast
connection by broadband standards but it does mean that my box may be
easier to find for a hacker. So, I have a few questions about
security. I think I am OK but want to make sure.

Hi there,
I rejoin the list after 5-6 years. Was able to fix most of the things myself
but this one has me totally bowled over.
I have an IDE disk enclosure (can house 2 disks per IDE channel, a total of
4 currently plugged in) which makes IDE disks available to the main computer
via 2x USB 2.0 c

Just to recap. I've installed Gentoo for the first time. Emerged vim, links, and xorg-server.
