I can't to use spellchecker. Accented letters
and ñ, Ñ are not recognized by ispell, aspell.
I try to use ispell from command line but
I can't said nothing to ispell about char
enconding.
How I can workaround and get spellcheck
my lyx file?

When I open a footnote and I want mark the entire
text I have a problem.
I put the cursor at the start of footnote text, then
press shift key and down arrow key, then with right
arrow key I mark until final point of footnote.
All OK.
But if I press a key one more time, for error, marked

In footnotes I solved part of my needs with footmisc
package. With [para] options I get that all footnotes
in one page be in one paragraph. This is nice for work
with lot of short footnotes but I have long and short
ones. Options [para] in footmisc prevent that
paragraph be split to the next

When I deleted a great portion of text in lyx 1.4.1 I
can see that delete no work well. Remains a great
space and numbers and marks from items.
This behavior is new. In 1.4.0 not occurs.

blank page before next chapter, titlesec put header
and footer. In this case I want to have an empty style

I have a problem: a quote mark appears superposed over
the footnote number in footnote.
This occurs even with an empty preamble.

In the past I have not problem in to compile lyx from
sources.
Now, when I run ./configure I get messages that said
that some libs are founds but configure can´t use it.
Any idea for to correct this problem?

With opensuse 10.2 and kde 3.5 I have another paste
problem.
1) I took (with ctrl + x) a word for move it.
Then I put it (with ctrl + v) in other site.
Then I think that I put word in wrong site.
Then I delete this word with baskspace key.
I put cursor in other site, press ctrl + v a

of no more \setcounter in every section.
This no work. Number of footnotes no reset in each
section.

Sometimes, about 1 time by 40/50 pages, latex put a
page break too early, and appears a ugly big blank
space at the bottom of page.
This occurs when I put in preamble commands for avoid
widows and orphan. If I deleted this commands ugly
space desappears and widows and orphans appears.

As a last resort, if space is a real problem
