occasional travels through the southern states, probably is some sort of
network of them. Check the Insurance Auto Auctions as they sell wrecked
stuff to salvagers, there might be some link off their site?

It may be a great way to make them come down on price, where the car
nice enough. Having to invest 10-20 hours to change out the part
brings the value down a bunch for anybody who knows the model. A
newbie would not have any idea and would pay top dollar.

NON MB manual trans are famous for not getting out of one gear before
the other gear is engaged (different shift linkages) On my column
shift bronco, I would frequently have to crawl under and disengage
one linkage manually. I HAVE had that also happen on column s

During my search for updated wheels for my 380SE I
came across what are being reported as 15" bundt
wheels. Did they really make such an animal and if so
what did they go on?? These supposedly came off of a
W123 diesel. If anybody is interested in them I can
get them pretty cheap.

they are VERY rare. Doubt they would be off of a 123 diesel though.
