I am having the same issues with some of the spotty radio buttons.
A bot of a noob question - how do i install the latest version of LMS?
Using Vortexbox 2.4 updated.
I am installing using the following command
dnf install

In order to solve the issue with preset buttons, I had to upgrade to
LmsUpdate v7.9.1-1503129892, since LmsRepack latest version was from May
(v7.9.1-1494667952).
I also upgraded to Spott

Ok, I've finally been able to reproduce the failure in the browser
(wouldn't get those template warnings, though): it did work the very
first time I played such a favorite. But no more afterwards. Totally
doesn't make sense, but I'll figure it out.

I tried with a public list, and I got the same result. But maybe 10-20
seconds later, I pressed the preset button again, and the playlist
played!
Ok, I'm seeing the same indeed. Thanks for the heads up. I'll look into

I just went back (on the Boom) to favourites and starte
Right thanks guys, but I think this is all a red herring, I have the
latest LMS, Spotty, and piCorePlayer versions on two separate Raspberry
pi's and they both do the same thing, they need 2 presses of the preset
button (on both Boom and Radio) to get the playlist to start.

I had similar results as @kidstypike. I went and played something else
from spotty then pressed the preset button again and it worked.
The first times I tried I had been listening to local radio when
assigned the spotty playlist to the playlist.

It would be great if one were to be able to add podcasts to buttons as
well. I know you have tons of things with Spotty to see to, but are
there any distant plans to add that? I'm thinking of the TuneIn Radio
podcasts and radio shows...

A workaround for now is to make a Squeezebox playlist of the Spotify
songs and assign that to a preset button.
But being able to asign Spotify playlists directly would be ideal of
course.
