I've never moved UV from HP-Ux to Red Hat but I have worked on both. We went from a Sun Risc system to Red Hat on Intel and, like Drew said, you would have to do recompiling of programs and I-descriptors, and either uvbackup/uvrestore or fnuxi the files.
