[intrepid] deselecting one task uninstalled all tasks

Public bug reported:
Using tasksel (on intrepid) from the command line I deselected kubuntu-
desktop. To my suprise it also ununstalled the ubuntu-desktop related
packages. When tasksel was finished, I started it again and *all* tasks
where deselected.
This leaves the user without a desktop.

If so: we set its status to 'invalid' because this issue is 'covered' by
README.Debian. Because of that bug's status, it does not show up anymore
in the default bug lists. Please use the advanced search link to find it

The grep package failed to authenticate when I updated my Intrepid host
just now. The 92 other packages didn't :) , so I'm pretty sure it's
grep.

Invalidating, after an IRC chat with the submitter. The need of a first
line in /etc/apt/sources.list is in README.Debian, so the packager may
assume the user does so. Therefor this is not really a bug in its strict
sence.
However, we both agreed it is confusing that both that line and
/etc/apt/so
Please try if it works to set the deb line as the first line in the
/etc/sources.list file. I did so and after that 'apt-build install' took
my local package.
The contents of my /etc/apt/preferences was:
Package: *
Pin: origin ""
Pin-Priority: 1001
Setting to incomplete to indicate further inform
I see the same thing: apt nor apt-build itself recognize the file called
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/apt-build, that is installed by the apt-build
package.
The file should be should probably just be renamed to apt-
build.sources.list. After that both apt and apt-build recognize it as a
sources.list fi
