Re: [AI] good news about ATMS
Hi Gamsham sir This is not an issue related to disability or accessibility. Here is the solution. If you have used SBI card in a ICICI ATM and in case your account has been debited and you couldn't withdraw money, then you have to first go to your SBI branch and give them a letter stating the above. Then they will forward the same to the ICICI branch. After some reconciliation by the ICICI bank, your account will be credited. It may take days, weeks or even months. I'm saying this as a SBI employee. I see these cases every day. -- Vamshi. Hello sir, I'm also a teacher in secondary school. I do teach mathematics up to class 5. Of course previously I taught mathes up to class 7. there's no much difficulty. we can use laptop in class to give first example in any new model. later students can understand somewhat better if we teach them orally by giving them enough illustrations. I have learned some numbers and signs to write on the blackboard. I could write after some practice. but the explanation steps should be dectated orally. no problem students can understand us very well. if you still have any doubts please contact me off the line. thanks and regards, Surya. skype: sosurya Mobile: 9441013400. - Original Message - From: Vijay Kumar P.V.S. vijay.palakod...@gmail.com To: accessindia accessindia@accessindia.org.in Sent: Monday, May 18, 2009 12:59 PM Subject: [AI] Can a visually challenged person teach Mathematics to highschool students? Dear Access Indians, I have recently purchased Acer laptop. One technician says that I should recharge the batery only when about fifteen percent of it is left. Another says that I should not use the batery much, and should run it with electricity whenever possible. Which oppinion is true, according to your experience? How can we extend the batery life? Thanking you in anticipation. Ashik Hirani To unsubscribe send a message to accessindia-requ...@accessindia.org.in with the subject unsubscribe. Re: [AI] good news about ATMS
Have patience Subramani. We are just testing these ATMS. I need the report from Renuka and others. Bombay had a talking ATM from ICICI Bank many years ago. These single machines as showpieces make no sense. We are working towards the RBI circular of one third of the ATMS becoming accessable. Why not Bangalore well the only thing I can say is that you better start lobbying and show your strength. Before we can rejoice we need Renuka and others living in and around Calicut to check if it really works. Sorry I dont have an address but it is at State Bank of India. You must just go and check and report every detail. There are many issues about talking ATMs so we cant give SBI a pat unless it is fully acccessable. Waiting for your detailed reports soon. Also just note that anyone can use any Banks ATM card at any other Banks ATM machine without any extra charges. So if you dont have an ATM card of SBI still go ahead and try it. Re: [AI] FW: [nab_friends] Reserved Seats in Parliament.
There is no harm in making 543 seats into 545 seats if there is a problem with scrapping the Anglo Indian seats. Dear Friends, Now that the elctions are over for 543 seats for the Lok Sabha there are two seats reserved for Anglo Indians. The British have gone and I do not think Anglo Indians should be given such reservation now. It is pertinent now that all NGO's involved with work for the handicapped should take the lead in asking for the reservation of two seats for Anglo Indians to be scrapped and the two seats to be reserved for the handicapped. Kindly pass on this message to all NGO's in the field of disability for urgent action. With kind regards Felix Bollywood news, movie reviews, film trailers and more!
