you can probably turn it into a 100Mbps bridge using a pair of Planet VDSL2
bridge units. As for running real 100BaseTX across it directly between
ethernet ports, reliably, forget about it.

These things are the bomb for this kinda of situation… POE powered mid-span 
extender.. Gets you to 660 feet possible..

Use one of those devices that use "any copper" with their proprietary
stuff, then have 100 meg ports on each side.  There have been a number of
recommendations but I've never tried any myself.

I have heard claims from vendors (I don't remember which) that their 
switches will do 500 feet.
I would try to swap around the equipment on the ends and see if you get 
lucky.

I like TJ’s suggestion, but if you wanted a shotgun approach, you could try 
breaking up the twisted pairs and give yourself two 4-wire ends on each side 
that’ll hopefully still handle 10mbps, then bond them. BAM! 20mbps. It’s so 
terrible it just might work.

100M is only ~328 feet... he said it's 500'. If you're going to replace it,
it wouldn't make much sense to replace it with anything other than fiber.

Buy a set of those DSL thingamajigs. Unless you're trying to run PoE to 
power a remote device. Then you're screwed. Ethernet does not work 
beyond 100 meters. If it does, it won't be reliable.

Streakwave lists a bunch of products from a company called Veracity, basically 
a 2 port switch powered by POE over one of the ports, would one of those work?  
I think some of them are weatherproof.  Model numbers start with VOR.  
CyberData also has one.
