I didnt know there was a preschool album. I use NVDA with Vocaloid.To separate words, use a dash in between the syllables, look at the instructions. I use Studio Recorder to take out the delay and mix it at the right places.

Im sure not everyone can just do it or they probably would be but my guess is that Philip is using some kind of virtual landline number to SIP service so everything goes through the SIP server ultimately. At least if there are such services thats how Id try doing it myself.

There really, really, really needs to be a sort of quest log or reminder feature in the game. I say this because I was silly and skipped a bit of dialogue that told me which cabin Pierres holed up in. A hundred and twenty cabins...looks like I have to try each and every one. Just running past the door seems to work once youve found it, but not before that, because I just tried it and I got no result. I find this horribly tedious; its my fault for missing the bit of speech that wouldve told me what I wanted, I know, but most RPGs have some means of telling you where to go...though not all. In any case, some sort of reminder feature would be really good, and Im not the first whos said this.Where does one find the candlestick? I think I have all treasures except one or two, and I have thirty-one or thirty-two galactic dusts (this is without going back to the sanctuary or Berts Palace to double-check). All my characters are at or above 
 level 60 now, and Cecils Mass Slaughter kicks serious butt. I wonder why Shawna is limited to a 90-power attack while Cecil gets an easier-to-perform 100-power attack? Im pretty sure Cecil has more HP and hits harder, compensating for his slightly lower defense, so it makes me wonder.Also also, just for fun, I levelled Lucy to 70 with level-up herbs right after saving and performed Final Oblivion. Love the filter on that thing, and Im curious to hear how Simon does it. Wicked strong though, and not terribly hard to perform either if you remember the pattern.

spoiler.i am now in the post game area fighting the boss that wants me to join him in a place between life and death. think its name is titanic something. the only way i can hurt him is to use rosss toxic storm which can bring down 5% of the bosses health each round. and i have to defend every alternate round of fighting because if not he will drain away my life. all other attacks whether scrolls or dice or knife only can do 1 damage during my attack rounds. the problem is that my health of 940 seems to be not enough to hold till the bosss health drains away from rosss poison. is there any thing i am missing here?

I think Ill try Arch-Linux; Gentoo is just litterally a waist of time. (I mean it takes too long to install!) I do like the idea of compiling everything by hand, but doing that for, say, GCC, make, autoconf, automake, gnat, gdc, gccgo, gcj, clang, llvm, bash, sh, and all the other tools that make up a development system would take a minimum of probably 4 to 14 hours. For compiling it during the install, try 19 to 26 hours, which is litterally one day and 2 hours. I dont think I want to wait that long.when you tell me to use the EFI bootloader, do you mean hold down the option key, wait until the boot manager appears, and press right arrow twice? To the left (press left arrow once) is EFIBOOT, and to the right (press the right arrow key twice) is the standard USB/flashdrive boot. Which one should I select?

Regarding plot trajectory, I should more properly have said presentation rather than actual story. There are lots of the way certain passages of the game were written, manual, the in game text etc. It is true arcade titles dont need an over welming story, but still presentation is an issue. I was more personally concerned in battlezone however with the gameplay, sinse it seemed heavily reaction based and unlike something like superliam, things didnt seem judged as carefully, indeed much of the game seemed to be involved being swamped in sounds and enemies and hammering buttons, and even an action game needs precision and delicacy in its mechanics and challenge to not turn into boppit. Weve seen keyisfulls coding skills in sounds and extras, Id myself rather like to see some really solid game mechanics before I would considder making a donation.@Brad,  Fir

Ive found that building a wall at:n-2m-5j-3i-4k-6gives me a nice little area to have fun in. It then becomes a trick of what to build when.I found a bug though:When you close the tannery, no one will bring leather from it to the monastery. The monk will make leather, but that is it. Closing a building just keeps peasants from bringing supplies to the building, not taking items away...and I use that a lot, especially now Im needing to destroy buildings.

SSI maxes out at $700/month. Tip: pay careful attention to how youre going to pay for college *before* you get too far in. You can defer loan payments based on income, but its necessary to indicate that youre working toward increasing income in most cases.The cost of living is quite low where i am, and I dont have rent to pay, so I only need to worry about food (I can make less than $100/month work, but people rightfully disbelieve), utilities (depending on the weather, has been bouncing around but hasnt broken $100 yet), internet (The internet I have is kinda expensive at $50/month. -_-), I can only assume the phone goes onto someone elses bill because I know nothing about it, and then the student loans I cant get deferred (at this point I have no idea how much Im paying, but it looks like *Checks bank account* *Splutter* I have $200 less than I was expecting. Which is to say, I have $215, and it is the middle of the mont

Dark offered his wisdom on playing the hunter, so heres my own hot tips, hopefully not too explicit, on how to play the lumberjack:Firstly, select your tree! Pick a good looking mature specimin. If your preference is conifer, theres a sweet spot just below the bushy part, near the base of the trunk. With one hand on your saw, and one on the trunk, gently guide your tool to this spot. At this point, I should point out, that if its a solo job, both hands on your tool is probably the way to go. Its preferable of course to have a partner, and finding a rhythm here is the key. After around 20 strokes your tool should have nicely penetrated deep into the body of the trunk and you can both let rip. You can ignore a few squeeks, but if the tool is a tight fit, then a bit of oil in the right place works a treat. A fe

Good, because that music is annoying. Wish I could turn it down. Anyway, Ill figure this out. I still think that wind noise is supposed to be useful somehow, and Mike, thanks for your suggestion, but that takes forever so Ill try to figure out the wind but if I still have issues, Ill try that fine-toothed comb method. Starting to regret my purchase. I found a couple of very nasty bugs. 1. Press shift to find out what items you still need to find. Before shes done speaking, hit shift again. Instead of interrupting and starting back over, the file plays on top of the first one, causing stuttering and general annoyance. 2. If you press control to get the description of where you are, the game resets all your items in that area, forcing you to find all the objects again. So, when I switched focus away then back the other day, I hit control at some point. I kind of wish I could get a refund, but we shall see. I could get it back through PayPal, actually. Hmmm. T

I completed the survey. I even took time to fill out the other comments field. Ill paste what I wrote below.I have a hearing impairment and ESpeak literally gives me a pounding headache after about 20 minutes of constant listening. Something akin to a very strong person shoving needles into the sides of my head just above my ears. I have no idea what causes this, but I can say that number 3 sounded the least synthetic to me. number 4 was of course ESpeak and I could already feel that pain starting by the end of the sample.

Hi,I agree. I myself would just use voice chat and find someone, rather than a date line.Im very sad to say this, but I cant help but feel... disappointed. With all this modern tech, this... is what youd come up with? I dont mean to sound harsh, but seriously. This is 2014, not 1990. This feels like something for the older generation, marketed to someplace like the royal national institute for the blind in the UK, or the National Federation for the Blind in the US. To me, this does not sit well, what with the NFB going after Apple and potentially hurting all the advances that companies have made, both apple and google, and who knows what else. I just hope they know what they are doing, and that they can solve it.Im sorry for taking this off topic, but... I... just dont know about this. It just seems... old.

Actually Brad, 700 dollars is close to 500 pounds, not 800, and also while food and other general things in America are cheaper, rent and transport costs I believe can be much higher.The person to talk to about this is tom ward, sinse hes sat and mathematically calculated out all the bennifits. Either way, as I said I dont mind developers asking for living costs as long as theyre working full time, though Im not sure how well this sort of model would work if you were only bringing out a couple of games a year.

hi all again.spoiler.i am now stuck at the post game area, after finally defeating the titanic boss who was the machine techy, now i cant seem to find my way back to paladin. i found the teleporter, teleported to a place where i found a person that says this area is only accessible to humans or something, and says that i have like 7 persons, and asked me to go away. but the only way i can go is to the teleporter that will bring me back to the area that i was just teleported from just now! help!

Wat ust a minute. Why are things based on trends? Trends are for losers, in my opinion. You know what they say, here today, gone to-morrow. What makes dating systems exclusively for the 1990s? Is it because people of newer generations find the more advance stuff like Skype and Apple to be more convenient than just a simple party line? I think there needs to be a balance with how much we care about living up to time changes and how much we want to preserve old technology, because some of that can still be good.

Giovani, I just downloaded your gamebook, and discovered a number of things you may want to work on for the next release.First, is I have noticed quite a number of spelling and grammatical errors in the text of the story. I suspect English isnt your native language so you may want a person who knows English really well to go through and clean up the text as it is a bit crude in places. What you are trying to say is understandable for the most part, but it still isnt clear as it could be.Second, I entered the kitchen and discovered the only option you give is to take the knife out of the drawer and kill yourself. I feel you should offer some additional options there such as actually take the knife out of the drawer and slice the bread, or go back to the main page. I dont think giving the player one and only one option in this instance is a good idea. Not all of us will want to kill ourselves. Maybe we actually want to make a sandwich or something ins

I am sure there are blind men and women here in the USA as well as elsewhere that have no regular computer access at all who could benefit from Philips new phone service. Just saying everybody must use Skype, for example, puts those sorts of people at a disadvantage because you assume they have the same technologies and financial means as you do to communicate via that particular technology.Finally, regarding technology as being old I never get why people think just because something is old that instantly means we must do away with it. Having newer technology does not necessarily mean we should trash something just because the technology is old. Far too many people have adopted this newer is better attitude when in some cases its not any better than the technology it replac
 ed. Its a phenomenon called perceived obsolescence, and companies have been using it to exploit the market for years.

Aprone, yes, USA Raceway is still under development. It has had a long and sorted history which is unfortunate. I suspect it is precisely for that reason why someone like yourself who is an outsider might think it is abandonware or the project has been abandoned because it has changed hands so many times without a lot of news about its status in development. When a project like raceway goes inactive for a while without a regular amount of news the tendency is to assume the project is dead, abandoned, or that the developer is loafing around not doing anything with the project. Those are perceptions based on a lack of communication between the developer and the community which I suppose I myself am guilty of.Dark, I completely understand your position. Unfortunately, I believed Id have a demo of Raceway out by now myself, but life got in the way. I have been dealing with a whole load of stuff from health issues, computer problems, and more recently my divorce. As 
 a result things like USA Raceway were a low priority and no modern demo has appeared. I just simply have not had the time or mental state of mind to work on it. Anyway, I have no problem with your logic and reasoning of removing Raceway from the database for the time being.Aprone, actually Raceway did have a playable demo/beta, but it is very old. I want to say 2001 or 2002. Its the original demo written by James North, and I elected not to put it up when taking over the project because I started over from scratch with new sounds, music, and am rewriting it in C++ rather than continuing with the Visual Basic 6 code I got. I had to because a lot of customers paid something like $45 for the game, but since it has been delayed a lot of newer racing games have come out that were far better than the concept demo James North released. Topspeed, for example, is free and way better than the demo of Raceway that was released several years ago, and it would be financial suicide to put 
 the old demo up now that it is apparently not worth anything compared to what is already available on the market. I had no choice but to rewrite Raceway, and make it as good as if not better than Topspeed, Rail Racer, etc. Thus one more reason for the delay in getting a new demo out to the public.

Id also like to point out that no one has gone after Apple. Listeners of the maccessibility podcast will know that the NFB resolution is an internal matter not a condemnation, it is a goal to encourage accessibility within a broader spectrum of apps within the app store. Any talk of legal action came from a single individual speaking without authority for the NFB and most definitely speaking out of turn, unfortunately this is the part most media seems to have been focussing on. You could argue whether this is the right approach or not but frankly it wasnt really intended as anything more than a campaign goal to encourage as I said a broader spectrum of apps to be accessible and what the NFB chooses to do with its time is none of our business so long as they dont start giving blind people a bad name, which they havent.Ill also point out that the trouble with voice chat is with things like Skype you need to first find someone to voice
  chat with. The major dating sites are also notoriously inaccessible and yes dating sites are a viable thing in this modern age, look at how much business they get. While Id much rather see mainstream dating sites made accessible I dont have the resources to force this and the organisations that do seem to lack any interest in doing so.

HiI also chose number three, but I listened to each one several times at different volumes, and did them all apart, then close together as well, and in the end, it was kinda a choice between complete crap, crap, and not complete crap.Yes, I know they put time into it, yes, I know its multilingual and supports different dialects, and that each one is fast and accurate and free, I appreciate all of that, but when I was honest to my self it was still the case.Still, that one I could tolerate for far longer than ESpeak, even with all of its different voice variants that Ive tried many times each.Biggest problem with number three, which is the same with number one of course, is that the ends of words tend to hang when they are at the ends of sentinces most, but also sometimes during small breaks, which isnt conducive to higher speech rates, I mean, the hangs would decrease in length, but it still sounds kinda s
 tupid, and more so for books and articles.The British dialect was pretty convincing though, which was neat, and it was alright with distortion at higher volumes, but still not great.I like how they got rid of allot of the Kermit E. Frog from number one, in number three, and the fact that a bit is still their isnt so bad, considering how flat it would be with out it.I think the most horrible was number two, along with the voice just sounding stupid and Sapi4ish, it also sounded like all the words were leaning against each other for support, all falling out in an endless stream of winyness, and we cant forget the chronic case of mouth open too wide sindrome.

All right.slight spoilersaheadI finally beat Pierre, ended up finishing him off with Simon. Holy god but that guy is overpowered! Went into heaven and resurrected Stella...and she hits like a truck! Anyway, I have two questions:1. Now that I have Stella, what else can I do? I have thirty-five galactic dusts and Im pretty sure Ive been everywhere so far except the Under Construction area. I wish someone had a master list of where the dusts were.2. Where is the candlestick? I think Im missing one or two treasures, and the candlestick is one of them. Silly because I think I found it last time.Now that I took the time to learn more skills, Pierre is a hard but not impossible fight. Withdrawing people when theyre about to die really does help, and using Gabriel to absorb hits when you dont want other characters taking damage is also awesome. All that HP makes him good for something after all.

Hey key,Ive never played any of your titles, other than your Tactical Battle ones obviously, but I agree that maybe a donation based system would work well for devs that dont want the effort of charging for games. Someone (Im too damn busy to do it so someone else) should set up a decent cross-platform app-store for audio games. That way, an option to include a donation there would be a breeze for users or developers. Would be tricky to create, of course. But no one person has to do it. Just putting the idea out there. As for site hosting, I personally use zymichost. No ads and is free and accessible. Downside is they advertise on your 404 pages, so just dont have broken links and youre alright. They did have some downtime lately, which bothered me, but otherwise theyre alright. Im considering moving on up to a paid one though.

OK, I just downloaded the demo of this game and must say that it is incredible!Here are my first impressions:Way way way too big!I spent most of my time running from place to place, looking for things. I would like to see a lot more filler and people to talk to. I loved the air-hocky game and wished there was card-games, wheels, ping-pong, pool, foose, people talking about themselves and whatnot. Also, I kind of was very startled at all the guys fighting me in the bar, there was no warning. Why are they fighting me? A little dialogue would be nice.Also, a cancel button for some of the longer messages would be very nice!

Ok, some serious tips, seems to be the sporting thing to do. Warning, spoilers and spilt beans. Quick answer: The right strategy for this map is to build walls, as many as it takes. Wall yourself in and forget about soldiers until after all your walls are built. The strategy stuff: Each map seems to require one of 3 strategies, soldiers, walls, or population. This map is small so growing your population is a luxury you dont have time for. Building in the middle of the map and relying on soldiers is again not quick enough. Building some walls and trying to stem the goblin tide is worth a try but the soldiers will drain your economy and expanding your territory becomes very slow with few workers. So walls is the way to go and fortunately its possible. The downside is that it takes time and resources but this is not as much downside as soldiers. Other maps will of course differ.The next quest
 ion is how many walls and where to put them. You have to choose between going for safety and speed or going for more territory in order to have more room to build on. My 3 games have had 3 different wall placements and Im going to try a fourth. If you find a clear cut answer where to put the walls, then please let me know.Some tips on this bit: Planning your land grab is advisable and the order you put up the walls is also very important.How much land do I need? The correct answer is - as much as you have time in the game to build on. In reality, land is scarce, having too much safe land is probably not going to bother you at this point. Its very likely land will be your limiting factor and your choice will boil down to what you have room to build. In the unlikely event you end up with expansive lands, time will be your limiting factor and your choice will boil down to what order to put up your b
 uildings. What order should I put up my buildings? Ah thats tactics and not covered in this post about strategy. Perhaps Ill do a post on some tactics later on.Is there a shortcut? Yes. Dont bother building anything, just choose smuggled goods as your starter and send everyone out fishing. Just before you starve to death, save your game and submit it.

I really think that needed to be said, and who better to say it than you aprone. At Tom, man, i think you had a ton of potential with toomb hunter. That demo was fantastic, and i would have loved to see that project to completion, and would have happily payed like 40 bucks for it. To be honest, i think you have some mental blocks you have to overcome, and jump back in to the development chair again, its been too long! While im not huge in to programming, i would personally adopt the mindset of creating content could be just as fun as watching everyone play it. Thats kind of the point i would think. My point is, have fun with development, and life will work itself out if you keep a positive attitude. Dont worry, this isnt a psychology lecture, just my thoughts.

Sorry about that bug. The game is supposed to let you save when the ticks run out on challenge. One option is to load up the saved game autosave. Castaways automatically saves your game every so often, using that file name. If you have played a new game since then, the autosave will have been overwritten.For myself, the game does stop and let me save once I reach 1 ticks, so I havent been able to fix that bug yet. Once I can reproduce it, Ill squash it.

I completely understand what you mean about the pre-orders, and why it seems you must complete the games (or never be trusted). The problem with that thought, is that it wont happen. It loops us back to the points made in the earlier post, that the games themselves are doomed, and will result in nothing but an endless cycle of rewrites.You are indeed stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place, but only 1 of those options can actually amount to anything. If you choose to continue working on those games, well all just have this same conversation years from now, still without anything having been finished. Both options suck, a lot, but I think the time has come to cut your losses so you can move forward. Worrying about reputation is understandable, but after all of these years I doubt there is much of a reputation to save. Head east out of Indira and turn north east when the opportunity presents itself. From that point on you want to go as far north as possible, even if it means going west once or twice, until you get to the hole in the webbing. Enter the hole and go northeast once, then north twice. Go northwest twice, southwest once, west once, and youll find the tree. This might be slightly wrong since Im doing it off the top of my head, but if you follow that general course perhaps with some slight variation you should be able to reach the tree.

I suggest regular saves. My last save is at  ticks and this is the saved file I send to Aprone. The other reported bug about closing buildings is not a bug. If you close a building peasants do not bring new supplies, unless they are already on their way. Yes workers will use up the supplies, but if thats not what you want, then simply reassign them.

Personally, what simultaneously frightens and saddens me is how much blind people feel the need to proceed as if the rest of the world doesnt really exist. Perhaps this is why every time I come back to this site I usually feel like someone looking in from the outside rather than someone who has been a part of it for the better part of 5 years. I wont say I havent talked to great people, wont say I havent had many a great conversation or seen many a great bit of writing on here. What I will say is that being blind doesnt limit me to seeking sighted friendships and having them.Up until the year 2009 I hadnt the slightest idea this community even existed. While I knew I wasnt the only one, I also figured that everyone else would feel as I did, that being blind wasnt more than a thing, a matter of which one must deal with in life because it is as it is, and then going on with life, talking to ev
 eryone else and not being limited by a label. I was well aware of our necessities; the concept of accessibility existed in my mind even though I had no word for it, not ever having really spoken to blind people. it wasnt out of disrespect or hatred or anything malevolent; it was much more simple than that; being blind didnt make a person worth talking to in my eyes. Thats not the same as being blind being equated to worthlessness, but if that was your defining characteristic in life, then Id have to say there really wasnt much left to know about you. when I came across this forum and its members I set about figuring it all out.I found myself disappointed more often than not at the complacency that seemed to have settled over blind and visually impaired people, a sort of peace at the prospect of there being no possibility of acceptance in a majorly sighted world. Let me make myself clear before one of you decides to t
 ake off my head; I have no issue with blind people talking to other blind people. What I find incredibly disturbing is when one exclusively limits ones self to nothing but blind people, making excuses as to why they cannot integrate into a sighted world, all the while claiming they are normal. How could sighted people ever see any of us as anything else other than blind people if that is the only side of us we are showing? What kind of message are we sending as a whole when we arent willing to take the risks necessary to be part of the world rather than trying to create a little world of our own? Where is the chalenge worth fighting for in a community that refuses to open itself up to greater possibilities by simply looking for every day perspectives from every day people, and how can a community of this nature thrive on anything productive, anything which isnt a ces pool of drama, of insults and cliquish, nonsensical banter for long?I was shocked when no more than a month ago I saw what could possibly be the most stupid slogan Ive ever seen in my life on a website that claimed to be dedicated to blind daiting; Love is blind, and so are you. I wanted it to be a joke; I even laughed about it... I wanted it to be a joke so bad I had to run it past sighted friends who laughed along with me. Deep down inside though, joke or not, I knew it was a great possibility, nay, probability that yet another one of these ideas had sprung up once again, and the dread that filled me was incredible. Ive tried to give it little thought... Until now. Far be it from me to claim that anyone who does things like this has good or bad intentions when doing so. I cant help but wonder though, what kind of thought process would compel this sort of action and why? I know Ill never have AOL as it was back in 2003, back in the days when I could wander into any of the
  various chat rooms and see more than 30 people connected at a time and it wasnt about braille equipment and screen readers, not about accessible software and the cheapest hardware solutions for the blind, not about whos program was better than whos and the whys and why nots. Was there fights? Yes, but there always is, and they had nothing to do with being blind. Was their disagreements? Yes, but again, they had nothing to do with being blind. Social networking progressed and we went from AOL and MSN to MySpace, Facebook and Twitter. ON the surface though, while the technology is different and the rules have changed, the people are still pretty much the same. Its not always easy to convince people that I am but another person just like them, a person with my own oppinions and ideas, a person capable of as much and in some cases more than they are. I refuse however,to throw up my hands and say that such obstacles

What has happened to the Sarah game from pcs.

Hi guys, Ive been having a lot of trouble trying to get sarah and the castle of witchcraft and wizardry to run properly on my windows7 machine. When I first installed it, the old version of the game worked well enough, but when I installed patch4 to the games folder, the game behaved like there wasnt even a patch there and just went on running the old version. I did what phil suggested and tried installing it in users\lori\games\sarah, but with the same result. Also, Ive started getting this error when the game first launches. ---Fatal Error! ---Error finding/reading game.id file. This file must be valid before playing this game.---OK Theres obviously something messed up between the game and windows 7, and while I can at a pinch run the old version, its so buggy its hardly worth running at al
 l. I finally decided to re-download both game installer and patch 4, but on going to pcsgames.net, I find both download links broken. I can only hope we finally get an upgrade to the game soon, which will resolve all these pesky windows7 issues, as its very frustrating to pay money for a product which no longer works.

Hello there Orin. Firstly, Id like to say that I didnt actually run my solution through the compiler, but Im quite sure that I have found the issue.Basicly, in BGT, whenever you are using strings when dealing with parameters of functions, they must be surrounded by quotation marks, unless you are using a variable. For example:string day=monday;void main() {alert(info, Hello, today is +day);}So, the only line in your example that is slightly incorrect is:alert (My Name, My name is My_Name);But all one needs to do to fix it is add a quotation mark after the opening parenthesis, and add a quotation mark followed by a plus sign after my name is. The correct line should say:alert(My Name, My name is+My_Name);P.S. I think the space between Alert, and the opening parenthesis might cause a problem as well. But the plus s
 ign just links the variable to the My name is text.

[[wow]], I didnt think that far into them. I didnt notice the word issues you mentioned, but I probably would if I sped it up. Something I forgot to add in my survey comment but am now sort of glad I didnt...I! hate! British! and! Australian! synthesizers! While the samples did sound convincing as you said, I still cant stand them. To me, even Orphiisss British accent is horrible! Lets not even go into ESpeak... LOL.

I got all thirty-six dusts, fought Null Virus and got a ton of experience for it. Ross is 91 and Simon is 88 now, and Kelly just learned Death Dimension. Lovely spell, with her insane attack. Ive had a good look around the ruined Paladin, killed the Protector a second time, and found a few places. I also found an area full of key fragments, got to a boss that wiped the floor with me, and have over two hundred thousand coins to my name.So here are my questions:1. Whats the deal with that boss? This is the one that takes massive damage from the poison in rosss Toxic Storm spell and 1 damage ffom everything else. If I defend, it auto-kills me. If I just plink it and let it die, I have something like 40% of its health left and it kills me. Im kinda wondering i
 f theres a secret, or if its just an endurance match where the only way you can win is if you get Toxic Storm fired off on round 1.2. Is there anything to do with Ghostly Chamber or the Memorial Hall, or whatever its called? The latter has the same music as Berts palace, and the teleport for it is in the northwest of the ruined Paladin. The former is quite near where you fight the protector, but its just a huge and seemingly empty rectangular room.3. Most of my characters are around level 78 or so, with two considerably higher. Do Gabriel, Cecil or Kelly learn anything new after this point, or are they stuck? I ask because I have sixteen level-up herbs I never used and am wondering if it matters who I spend them on.I love love love exploring, so that whole ruined area was great for that. I just feel like it was a lot of dead ends, but that makes me think Im missing something. I was also hoping to fight God of Destruction, after

Hi Lori,I am sorry the Sarah beta is not ready yet.In most part the delay was due to David updating the GMA game engine.It is true the Shades of Doom beta is in public beta but it has gone through 20 bug fixing versions and I felt it would be premature to try and use the new engine for the Sarah game before David finished with the changes.The new GMA engine is supposed to fix the problems installing the game on windows 7 and 8 computers. Blind people are never going to fit in with the sighted world if they dont come out of there shell. I think the critical point that you didnt mention in your post is quite simply, that not everyone, like me for example, do not fall in to the category of only associating with other blind people. While i know you certainly didnt mean to insult anyone, i cant help feeling slightly offended, only because im currently seeking a very mainstream career in the tech industry, and dont really appreciate being lumped in to a category just because i have a disability. @Nocturnus: Well said. I definitely agree with the above. And to clarify a little, the title that I chose actually has nothing to do with blindness as such. The title is meant to be read The (blind date) line. If blind people use it that is not something I have the slightest problem with, obviously, but that was never the only target group. The title refers to the fact that youre finding random strangers. I hope this makes sense. I used it twice, and i had to rejoin both times, (you know why), so i went back on, then i was shooting at someone with a machine gun, i and it had changed maps, then i dont know what happened, either i got kicked again, or i got banned, or i d0ont know. So i had to restart my computer, and i had to retart it 2 more times due to non connections. theres a but where it freezes on the checking maps screen, on any server. If i got banned i got banned inapropietly, because i dont know what i could have done. Thanks.

So I did some googling and foundPodSixNeta python package that will do exactly what I want. It sends info from the client to the server, has code for the server to send info to the client and I just need to run the check once in my game loop to do all the checks. Im going to play with this and see if I can get it working! It has a nice little chat example as well.Here is a tutorial for a lines game using pod6Ill see how it works and hopefully will understand a little more after working with it for a while.

Disregard the last part of my last post, i got on the server. The only problem is the stupid bug where it freezes. Everytime it happens, i have to restart my computer, so i do that like 4 times in a row. I think you have to let your computer warm up, so maybe check the forom and stuff before playing, because theres a lot of servers, its just hard to connect.
