Hello I have a problem in I phone 5s My cousin gifted to me and I was practicing the gestures of voice over. I dimmed the screen.then I want to undim it but accidently off the speech. Quests work by talking to a mob to accept them then it'll tell you join quest number to join. I shal be on if you wana  jump on. No there's no soundpack just yet. how ever We're implemanting  the MSP protocal so every client that works with msp should work with the soundpack. that'll be coded in as soon as we can get too it. how ever, We're looking for someone who can code with mushclient doing soundpacks at the moment.

that... is really intresting. I... have no idea why. I will defs look into it though. One possibility is that for some reason people with default invs or 4 letter names etc, basicly what was treated as spam never 100 percent deleted. This would mean you could log on with a missing health file, which would then make the health be 0... boom. That is really wierd though.

Didn't read the posts since your response to mine, so much to do... but I can appreciate what you mean. I'm just thinking in the vein of mainstream rpgs of the same type, and how enemies have health bars... which, while aren't specific numbers though there are cases where they exist, are more exact than full health, slightly wounded, etc. I would say the option should be adjustable to players, because while it may start out as math, I don't think many players will have to boil it down to numbers... that we'll use skills so much that figuring won't be necesary and we can just enjoy the fighting. It just seems weird to give numbers for some but not the other is all. but I look forward to this game, and the next one coming up, especially if its combat is realtime! Woud love to contribute to the games any way I I can, whether it's with my voice or just dollars!

@Aprone, I don't know about Tom's qualifications. I do know he had done a lot of investigation concerning programming, and I agree, I was surprised myself when I found out he was only five years older than I am (I thought of him in his fourties too). I won't make excuses, Tom was not always an easy person to get on with, especially in matters concerning programming and technology. Perhaps it is because he felt he did not recieve respect over his knolidge and abilities elsewhere in his life, perhaps he was defensive over insults I don't know (I recall the arguement I had with him regarding Windows xp).One thing I will say though, is Tom Was always prepared to admit when he'd been wrong, or to calm down after an arguement. He was never someone who tended to bare a grudge, albeit he could be acerbic, and perhaps even arrogant at times, however he was never cruel, petty or actively unfare. Personally I remember him most as the person who wo
 uld always have chats on any subject no matter what, on the audeasy list his monthly post counts (post counts kept by the late Jim Kitchin), were always vying with mine for numbers, indeed a monthly ritual on list was a little light dyssing between Tom and I over who had more posts .Personally, I'd want people when I die to remember me as I am, and hay, i make no bones about being perfect, a long way from it, and wouldn't want people to start sanctifying me postumously anymore than I'd want vilifying. I'm me, and that's how I'd want people to think of me, and I'm pretty sure Tom would think the same.

Anotehr two bugs. sorry for many posts at once:1. My grawve key doesn't work with storehouse, and so my shift_grawve key doesn't work with online market. Could you have the alternative keys for that?2. You could actually merge a single player game and multiplayer game, or in other words, draw what you build in your single save to your multi save and make it your home, until you finally exit the game and it'll return to your original multi home again. The process is, connect to your laggy home server, load your home up, disconnect, load your single home. you can even chat and do online stuff from your single home, as if it's already your online home.

Not sure if it's my stupid internet connection or the server lags. I found a couple of nasty things, again.1. Let's say I already saw my homeland on the server, and sent someone out to do crap. It worked fine at first, but suddenly, the task showed none, the worker available showed all busy, and I just couldn't get anyfurther. I disconnected and reconnected again, only to see if I somehow couldn't. So I had to solve that by exiting the game completely.2. Before that, the connection doesn't seem to like my internet explorer so much, cause it kept saying your ie settings prevent me from connecting properly something. But the thing is, it's actually the server, not my ie because whether i reset it or not, it could still connect. I had firewall off, and I ended up resetting my advance ie settings for real, but it didn't work for a while. Then it finally worked again and produced what I said above.Also, whoever that was, or were, I

All I'll say are three things:1.  I don't feel like I will be purchasing Leesey.  Having downloaded and gave it a go, I respect, admire, and am impressed by the software -- it's just not something I want to pay for.2.  I would pay for My Country place.  I have always wanted to play a game like that and, from what I heard on the podcast, it sounds like a relaxing different type of game -- something that doesn't involve killing things/puzzles.3.  Keep in mind we're in this posission because people can't take it on themselves to respect the hard work of developers.  Each crack used, created, is an endorcement of screwing people out of their money that, let's be honest, they worked hard for.  I did intend to buy Q9 at some point (just never got around to it), and because of cracking being one reason it's gone, I can't.  so thanks for screwing honest customers out of something.
 If Leesey was to make some of their functionality (spotify/games module) avalable, I'd pay a price for those.  I do like the steam-like platform because, honestly, as it stands, I wouldn't pay for all games Leesey has to offer -- treasure/truffle troll don't interest me much.Having said all that, I hope those who have Leesy enjoy it.  They should.  Hartgen Consultency made a product that, while not something I want, is nevertheless, a good product, and is unique and fulfills a lot of different needs.

Agreed with Stirlock here, had a listen to the demos you provided, and both systems seem extremely well designed.  I've always loved turn based combat, though if you do a real time game in future, that will be interesting as I've never seen it done well in an accessible game up to  now.  As to voice acting, I'm not incredibly bothered either way if it is included, as it's always fun to give voices in your head to characters, like reading a book.  Though if it does come into play that would obviously be wonderful as I believe you guys would find the right people for each role.

Then there was that lovely time, although you probably weren't around, when Tom finally got fed up with the legal issues he kept running into with Montezuma/MOTA and some blind gamers' stubborn refusal to allow him the leeway to make some changes to the project, both for legal and personal reasons, and he lashed out on list. To be fair he did eventually recognize that mistake after he'd calmed down. I for one had lots of chats with him on Facebook about a lot of different topics.  Sometimes when I'd post a fragment of lyric from a rock song he was familiar with we'd get into long chats about the particular bannd or about Rock music in general. Being a guitarist myself, albeit not a very good one, I always liked the fact that Tom was one as well.

another annoying issue : when browsing through hundreds and hundreds of text, it seems to capture almost every single message the screen reader reads, with tiles as the exception. So I have to go through my menu choice I skim pass and such. that's kind of annoying.Also, some notification sounds when the job is done, please?

@SamTupy, to add to what Draq said, several players seemed to eather die or use dfc today. they just loged on and died for no reason at all, or if they had a dfc, just lost that. No player or animal killed them, and we got a fiew reports of that even before, but this time several people were reporting it, so clearly this is becoming a Sirius problem.@Draq the reason why your char got deleted might be because in the new update, when an admin delets spam chars, all accounts that had just a survival pack, a pen, 2 paper and 20 coins (aka. only the starting inventory) and not anything else, get deleted. Basicly chars that were made but never use. there should probably be some system preventing that from happening to people who just died and just didn't log on yet, or else this new addition might delete spam, for sure, but also delete accounts of normal players, but that's for Sam to fix.

@Aprone, o, totally didn't remember to check the debuglog, sorry. I seem to have figured out what was wrong. When downloading the zip file, sounds are in sepret folders in it. For some reason though, when I used 7-zip to extract the files, it just put everything in one folder, instead of putting the sounds in the folders they belong in. Seems to be some 7-zip problem, so will experiment with it to fix it, and just put the sounds in the folders they should be in myself it that doesn't work out. I apologise for causing problems because of my stupidity.

Hey SLJ, I think I understand your concern with the SAPI when it comes to language switching. We're hoping to include features that allow for use of the game in other languages - while the voice acting will be in English, gamers who prefer another language will hopefully have the option to have all menu text translated into their first language, as well as having access to SAPI "subtitles" of the spoken dialogue (or to get rid of the spoken dialogue completely if they prefer). In this case, do you still see an issue arising with the use of SAPI in-combat announcements? I'm really reluctant to use the screen reader because honestly having those little announcements not play at the affected unit's position is actually pretty disorienting, in practice.Regarding footsteps in combat - this was something we spent a lot of time trying to figure out, early on as we were designing the combat system. The truth is that having units walk or run back to their st
 arting location after attacking slows combat down way too much, and actually feels significantly less realistic than the way it is currently. Of course it's not 100% realistic as-is, but we do think it's the better option overall. We also thought of having units stay in their new position (so if Gwen runs over to attack a wolf, her position is now over where the wolf was, until she runs somewhere else) but ultimately that concept was even more disorienting and would probably just lead to lots of confusion. The way we have it set up kind of imitates some older JRPGs, such as on the Super Nintendo, where a unit performing a melee attack would rush over and strike the enemy, then sort of leap back into place.Stirlock - We're including screen reader support (though if I'm correct right now we only support NVDA) for all of the main text. The only places we absolutely have to use SAPI are when we think it's particularly important for the text to play at a s
 pecific position in the stereo field. Hopefully since these are pretty minimalistic situations (a brief announcement of a word and a number usually), it won't be too big of an issue.Also, I've got to say that Ian is way too kind. He's totally right about how we really complement one another's strengths and weaknesses, and this project has been such an exciting opportunity for all of us. But I had lots of unrealistic expectations at the beginning, and the truth is, I don't think either of us were ready for real-time combat when we started. But I think we're in a good place going forward for our next game, and may be able to bring something even more action-packed to the table after this first project.

I prefer turn based combat myself, we literally only have two turn based rpgs in english at the moment. Also, I would avoid sapi personally, go the screenreader route, because myself as well as many others I'd expect, are only using default sapi voices, which are terrible at best. Can't wait for this game, and would love to help in some way.

The online database seems to be acting up right now.  It's unfortunately handled by my web host, so it's out of my hands.  If anyone who can't connect is still able to connect to Swamp however, then please let me know, because they should both be affected equally by any database issues.Single player will end up being adjusted to make it more entertaining.  At the moment, single player is just multiplayer without the, um, multiplayer.  No special changes were made to make it fit better in a single player situation.  The beta test is mainly going to focus on stress testing the server for multiplayer.  It was working pretty well with the small testing team, so adding more people and more computers (all bring unique settings into the mix) will help bring more bugs to the surface where they can be noticed and fixed.We've got 8 people on the server currently, so the database is occasionally letting people connect.  Tha

The online database seems to be acting up right now.  It's unfortunately handled by my web host, so it's out of my hands.  If anyone who can't connect is still able to connect to Swamp however, then please let me know, because they should both be affected equally by any database issues.Single player will end up being adjusted to make it more entertaining.  At the moment, single player is just multiplayer without the, um, multiplayer.  No special changes were made to make it fit better in a single player situation.  The beta test is mainly going to focus on stress testing the server for multiplayer.  It was working pretty well with the small testing team, so adding more people and more computers (all bring unique settings into the mix) will help bring more bugs to the surface where they can be noticed and fixed.

I'm getting somewhat better at it in groups at least. I do have one request though. Could a zombie's roars be cut off if it dies? Because that is part of what tends to make the game so loud for me. Plus it gets very disorienting if you kill a zombie but it continues to shriek, because it makes you think there's another one in nearly the same place when there actually isn't.

Sorry, I can't currently find the right english for this, but I'm sure you know what I mean. When you have made the battles so realistic and cool, accept for the magic and potions, that extra detail would be awesome, but the battles might also take longer time.[[wow]] that's cool that you are composing it. It's fantastic. I don't remember if you have mentioned this before, but it would be so cool to get the sound tracks for a reward when donating to the Kickstarter campaign.

That's mostly to keep the names short, but also to help people who aren't good at english to recognize their own language. Am I right that the letters for the Serbian language is RS? I'm not a language geek at all and I don't understand how the Serbian language can be mentioned as RS, so I'm not sure if I'm wrong regarding to this, and I hope you can help me by explaining this.  what I did was to find a website about the Serbian language, and this website have a .rs address.The list has been updated with the Serbian language.

Hmm that's not good.  I have 3 people on the server right now playing, so I'm not sure why it's not letting a few others join.  I'll keep working on it on my end to see what's up.  It could boil down to a database issue affecting log-in, which my web host loves to have randomly.Oh!  Also to anyone not able to connect, make sure your firewall isn't blocking the game.  That's always a possibility too.

Dark I really enjoyed your post!  This paints a very different picture of Tom than I had ever seen, and that's a good thing.  That is the type of description you hope to hear about someone when they pass, because it helps you understand more about the guy and who he was.I never got to see this brighter side of Thomas, probably just because we clashed heads almost immediately.  When I showed up on the audio games scene, he took actual offense to the techniques I used when making my games.  We had multiple off-list arguments, when he'd go out of his way to send me insulting/condescending rants.  Haha!  I know I'm walking a fine line saying anything that seems so negative, given the current situation, but talking about the small dark spots still helps people understand who he was as a person.  When I die, there are going to be quite a few co-workers who saw me as nothing but a jerk who wouldn't give them the time of day.
 bsp; I've led a few programming teams who would probably pee on my grave too!  Reading Thomas' obituary was so surprising to me mostly due to his age and education actually.  When he was hammering me for doing things differently than he wanted, there were times he threw age and education up as reasons why his views were superior to mine.  Without going into specifics, he presented himself to me as being much older than he really was.  I'm only 4 years younger than him as it turns out, but went all of this time thinking he was somewhere in his late 40s.  I was "almost young enough to be his kid", so I had a lot to learn about how things are done.  He also claimed to have university degrees at the master's level, which I guess he didn't get during 2 years of community college.  Knowing what degrees I have
  he was willing to say that if I had the degrees he has, my views might be worth as much as his.  Basically I only got to see the "Internet Thomas", who was running on the anonymity of the internet to puff himself up.Now again, I know I'm on thin ice here, and I'm not meaning to upset anyone.  For years it hasn't been a secret that I didn't like Thomas very much, and believe me I had good reasons for feeling that way.  What I am enjoying, and the reason I've shared a bit about his darker alter-ego, is to contrast who he "really" was.  The world sucks when you run into bad people, and any time you find out that one of those bad people is actually good, it brightens everything.  I finally get to read about this person and see him in a whole new light!  It's a shame it happens only after he is gone, but isn't that always how it works out?  So Dark, I once again thank you for your insightful post.  When my co-workers start peeing on my grave, hopefully someone will explain to them the real me with as much success as you've done with Thomas above.  I guess that's all I can hope for.

The world map is the area that has descriptive labels, such as"path" or "wall" and doesn't need to be switched to. It is in the upper half portion of the main screen. When I first started I used a combination of both, first looking at the map to see which direction I should explore, then used the movement panel to move and search quickly. It's always best to do a quick look over the entire floor to see what the general layout is like.Personally in the beginning gmy favorite method of all was to move using the map with  the vertical and horizontal swipe gesture. However, now I pretty much have the entire game memorized, and can move through most of the floors using only the movement pane, with the exception of the Frozen Portal area.

I can't believe it.  I have to admit that I didn't realize his absens in this forum, because I haven't been that active in the past myself. Just recently, I was wondering about Tomb Hunter I and it's status. Therefore, it is even more shocking to hear about the death of another, very apreciated, nice and awesome person, known for his intelectual posts and his games he created or wanted to finish.Rest in peace, Thomas Ward, you will be your spirit will be kept alive.

In other words, you'll hear sounds in front/behind/to your left and right, but there will be no sense of "up" and "down." Sorry to people having errors in single player.  Multiplayer was the main focus so it doesn't surprise me that some silly bugs got past on singleplayer, like inventories not resetting, haha!  I'll add that to my list to fix.The server is online, but it was shut down while I was at work last night due to a crash.  Hopefully everyone can connect now.Mayana, did your game create a file called debuglog.txt?  If so, please copy its contents here for me.
