The problem with online interactions is that they are literally immortal. Even if this forum were to go down tomorrow, and all traces of it seemingly wiped away, there would be pages of it that had been cached, either through Google, the Internet Archive, or both. Or, of course, through various other lesser known services. That's a heavy load to bear when you know you've done something dumb or shameful.I hate the idea that an employer could trace me just by a username alone, and that stuff I did when I was 13 or so, when I first got into using the internet, could be called into question if ever I get interviewed for a job. Never mind that, y'know, I was 13, and also, that it all happened damn near 15 years ago. So, believe me, I understand where you're coming from. But hindsight is always 20/20. What can we who regret our foolish choices do? Mourning the stupid things we've said on various virtual venues is fruitless, no matter how hard we beat ours
 elves up about it. I guess that all we can do is vow to improve our communication skills in the future, and hope that it amounts to something in the professional world.

Thanks for your explanation! I looked at the Motu audio express interface, and for me the Tascam ones still seem the best in terms of what they have and can do, and the fact that the US-20x20 offers much more, as far as I can tell, for about the same price. I'm not quite sure yet about what I will end up getting eventually.

if we're talking religion/spirituality here, people should know that there're ideologies that don't give a heck to the concept of 'sin'. I mean, I don't think I'm a creature born of sinfulness cursed to live a life of damnation. I'm not saying here that I'm perfect, but come to think of it, I don't think anyone is. also, however good a deed one believes they're doing, it's bound to have a bad effect on someone or something. it's all so-called Karma, and one has to do his/her Karma despite if they think it's moral or not. for example, if I have to kill 1 terrorist to save 50 people, does it constitute sin?

I don't see how Firefox under Linux is "nearly unusable." I use it all the time. True, it has its issues, sometimes Orca will freeze up on large sites like Amazon or Facebook, but in my experience, it's far from unusable.Also, it's absolutely false that Orca can't be interrupted. The control key works the way it does everywhere else, to silence speech. Since I got ESpeak-NG working, Orca starts speaking the instant I press a key. Before, there was a very slight delay, so I'm happy about that.

Greetings darkmaster22.The game itself will guide you through what you need to do. I take it you're on your first playthrough? I would press resources and check out your updated resources. The fire should increase from 35 if you have 1 fire drake. I believe soon you'll want to build another egg farm. It's all intuitive AKA the fire section allows you to crate dragons, the eggs section allows you to build egg farms, the gold section allows you to higher minors, the mana section allows you to build wizard towers and upgrade your powers and the cult section allows you to upgrade your stats throughout each incarnation of the world.Kind regards, Amin Abdullah.

For example, is it really impossible to believe that there are beings who have, via meditation and other techniques essentially merged the 2 states of being AKA ascended? Hi,Just confirming that, indeed, these secrets haven't gone anywhere.Just a note here.I'm in desperate need of people on macs - especially if you're not running the latest version of bt sync (2.4.4 of this writing) to find a way to. I'm hearing people tell me that they're not getting all files on 1.3.109, and there's positively nothing I can do about that. The only suggestion I have is to create a windows vm and run the latest bit torrent sync (or as it's called now resilio sync). Install it as a windows service, type in the user name for your windows computer or vm in the boxes that come up, and go from there.1.3.109 may work for some  - and if it does that's great. But if it doesn't end up working for you there's really nothing I can do apart from asking you to please upgrade.With all of that being said I really am hoping folks are enjoying the secrets and the content they contain.One more
  note - if you decide to sync the contents in full, please try and keep it up because new things get added. This is a lot of data we're slinging around, and I'd hate to have someone delete all the content only to redownload it just for a single tv show, movie, etc.With that being said, don't feel the need to upload at your max rate constantly. Ok, so I've actually found a solution which is a bit of a pain in the ass, but it's better than going through the agony of adding a hundred or more songs via my phone.I should point out that I never would have known about this if not for the NVDA email list. Funnily enough, I had not checked my email in several weeks, and while wading through the insane amount of messages that had accumulated there, I happened to stumble across someone who had more or less the same question. Call it fate or what have you, but I followed the discussion with interest.It turns out that using object nav also allows you to add songs to playlists. When you search for a song, you can scroll down to where the results are, then left click on the song's title. An unlabelled button appears above the track name once you've done this. It's a play button. i don't know if it's strictly necessary to click on this button once you've found it, but I've had 
 good results doing that. Besides, I prefer to check the quality, and make sure that it's the version of said song that I want before adding it anyway, so it can't hurt. Now, once the song begins playing, and you're sure it's the one you want, go to the title of the song once more, and right click it. You then have to do control end to get down to the bottom of the page. Scroll up a bit until you see a clickable object that says add to playlist. This also needs to be left clicked on. Then you can scroll down a few more lines until you see the name of the playlist you'd like to add the track to. Again, left click on this. Voila, you've now got your tracks added.Is that excessively complex? Hell yes, it is. I wish it were easier. But it's the best we've got for now, assuming you're lazy and impatient like me, and don't particularly relish the thought of taking twice as long to enter the same info into your smartphone. It would be
  sweet if an NVDA add-on were created to make the Spotify client less cumbersome. As an aside, I tried these same steps with the latest version of JAWS 18; no go. I seem to remember there being a specialized, though paid, set of scripts that one could purchase in order to make Spotify more accessible with JAWS, although I don't know much about them and don't know how well they work. So keep in mind that, as far as I know, working with NVDA is the best way of interacting with Spotify's PC client at this point. In fact, I'm highly considering doing an audio demo of this for my podcast in the near future, for those who prefer to hear things being demonstrated as opposed to textual information.

Unfortunately not, because they were never free voices to begin with. As for whether you have to purchase Text Aloud, you don't. You only have to purchase text aloud for the realspeak/vocalizer voices. At and T voices can be bought stand-alone.

This seems like a bit of a silly reason -- any moderately complex application or game you ever develop will consist of more resources than just a single executable. You'll have sounds and other game assets, documentation, translation strings, so on and so forth. Yeah, a moveable and zoomable view could work, OK, so for X/Y translation you have two clicks, one subtly different indicating the other direction, they raise in pitch as you move the view in either direction, so the lowest pitch might be bottle left of the map. I am low vision and I remember playing Roller Coaster Tycoon and stuff like that. So think if you center the view on a location you would like to build on, you then hear each piece of track relative to that viewpoint. So Imagine building a gokart track, you start in the middle, and you built near the top, so place like 5 straight pieces, a turn, like 3 pieces, an S bend and so on, each one you hear along the stereo field, now for the Y axis, I am not quite sure how you could go there, pitch could be an indicator. But in this way you get an idea of what you're doing in relation to one little area.

I am low vision, so I have played games like roller coaster tycoon and the like. The moveable, zoomable view seems like a good option, for instance, you have a series of keys to translate the view, you hear a click for X, and one for Y that is subtly different. The clicks raise in pitch as you are over an area, thus, now you have a view that can focus on any area you need it to, making interaction possible. So say you wanted to make a simple gokart track, each new track you hear not from the central position, but in a position relevant to the view, ugh, this isn't making sense even to me but I can picture it in my mind. So say you start with a station, go up 3 times

Hi folks,It's been awhile since I've been proactively posting on the forum here.The other day I thought it would be fun to check and look at my old postings, between topics and answers.Man, I have to say, I was definitely a real jerk when I wrote out here for a period of time.  For those of you who read my stuff, I'm sure it might have crossed your mind that "[[wow]], this guy can be condescending," or maybe "This guy needs to get off his high horse."When I was reading, I noticed I was strongly opinionated, and sometimes asserting things that were not true.  I even got into a scuffle with another user, for no good reason, might I add.This was intended for self-reflection, but also to shed light on people (no one who I've encountered on this forum) who don't know how to carry themselves on the net.So to those of you who might have read some poor etiquette in my writing, I do apologize.<

Well.It all depends.If all you want is a sort of podcast which is what I suspect you want.Have a blog with wordpress, and powerpress.Have an rss with the cast, then people can go to that and download the files.Failing that you can have a directory with all the files in it and just let people download whatever they want.If you want to stream you will need some encoders like sam, shoutcast or something, oddcast or something.You need to decide what to stream in.Most people should get mp3 streams, you will need a dialup 24 bit, mono stream and maybe a 48kbit stream stereo for mobile phone users.And whatever your standard streaming bitrate is, most have 96kbps, then your stream at 192 or there abouts.mp3 can go to 320kbps at any rate.Others do stream in ogg, but not everyone supports ogg most do and its popular that goes to 500kbps but remember not everyone has massive download caps and bandwidth.Finally if you don
 't really care you can use flac.Not every player supports it and while it is definitly a nice sound its really chunky.Most users use m3u playlists those are recognised by amost every media player.I have seen people stream in aac but its not generally what is done.A lot stream in mp3 and or ogg.Failing that, there is always windows audio.Be aware though the lower bitrate audio tends to carry a digital signal and not many use that.Finally there is real audio but not many stream with this, it can make small file sizes thougyh but not everyone can play that.

Hi.aah a newbyWell first there are a lot of libraries that can handle your screen reader.One such is tolque which is opensource.There are others some written by others here I forgot their names.These handle the most popular screen readers, jaws, window eyes, supernova dolphin and non visual desktop access, nvda as well as sapi interfaces.It may be better for you to directly interface with one of these libraries for screen reader control, so you don't have to spend time busting your gut with every interface.Ofcause depending on what it is you can go the entire hog with full voice guidence via recorded files which will increase your game size a lot.As long as you can support 2 or 3d audio with sounds from directions, music to sute moods and changes as well as sounds for events and the like well thats about it.Some way to locate objects, and some way  to locate walls where needed as well as target.Some older games 
 had target beeps but there are a lot of things you can do with panning and the like.We can and have got a lot of actual audio games with the right environment we can make complex games.I am not sure of roge likes but if you go to mush-z.com for example and download and install the sound pack then rummage through the folders there is music for every battle, condition, movement environment and the like.There are event sounds and the like.Look at some of the oldergames on gmagames.com, some of the japanese games with sounds, then look at audiogamehub at audiogamehub.comSorry users I shouldn't plug myself but I kinda work for a company now so yeah.Look at eurofly, finally look at either kitchensinc.net, or spoonbill software and agarchive.net for audio games.Finally look at ffproject.com and choiceofgames.com, for text stuff.And if that is not enough there are all the old text adventure languages and then there are the newer ones like

Displaying regions or objects of scale can be a bit tricky, although as mentioned tilemaps work to a degree as people can build a mental map of where everything is using spatial coordinates. I've experimented a bit with Peter Meijers [image to sound rendering] myself, such as with a minimap using solid color filters to isolate different object types. Along with Aprones work you could also check out my paint tool BrushTone, which might offer some ideas.

Well you know as a fellow moderator of the forum, not this but the one on audiogamehub I can say that there have been times where I have felt I am wasting my breath.While there was interest in the forum initially it seems its only service is as a spam magnet.The spammers usually target the general forum and sometimes announcements.Initially I put in announcements on the forum saying don't crack, keep subject lines, keep to the rules, etc, etc but all  it seemed to do was generate spam.I know there are a few users on the system, and I know some of them did post once, and I know the forum is viewed and read but not many if any have ever posted in it for months.Every day I have the displeasure of logging in my moderater account, and going through every forum, bar general  and after that going through general and noting down all the users that are being naughty.Then I have to go through and delete all their topics and then I have to go through and bann all the users.At first I just put notes for the users saying why I banned them.Then I stopped, because I couldn't be bothered then I thought about swearing at them on a message then I just decided to go through the motions of banning spammers.I do it once a day.When I realised I was generating traffic I cleared all my announcements and all traffic for spam instantly halved.I have contacted sonnar about this, its clear we are not generating traffic or even offtopic descussion right now.My thought is that we should shelve the forum either till people ask for it or we get more security for it or simply say screw this and delete it.Pr is fine but if no one posts or comments bar spammers then I may as well go home!I am seriously think at this stage till we get big enough it may be easier to go to a managed forum like this one where we can appear and then disappear in a moment then appear again when we have something.Its what we have done, true there is an email list which I made which I also forgot which itself is not generating traffic.Even with the hub right now traffic is stupidly low.That aint a bad thing I am just concerned we are making all these channels and we are moving far to fast for our own good.I guess there is a ballence, I will continue to maintain things if anything for my own sanity but its just a daily step.I also suspect bar one or 2 actual admins that they don't either have the time or are to lazy to actually do anything much.I got a responce after a few days when I did the forum permition initially but every extra mail I send at admin yealds not much in the way of responce.When I first got in, every forum including the main page was full of topics with random names and the like.I spent 2 hours clearing it up.Every day I get at least one new bot.And I suspect in some cases the same people come back.One bot I banned his address, he came back with a slightly different name.Ofcause right now its easy, I know what topics are listed, there are only 6 in the entire forum and to be honest I am half tempted to clear all those and let the spammers take over at times.I'd probably loose my job but sometimes the spammers get me down.The only spam I like is the stuff in the can and then I don't eat it to much because if I eat to much of that that will definetly kill me.But yes, canned spam and egg is fine.And no philll please don't come in here and start the spam song again, thougyh I do have the disk with it on and yes I do play it when no one is in the house loud so there!I get on average 1-5 spammers per day generating 1-5 topics each.When I started I had 30-40 spammers with at least 20 topics each all over the forums.Some days I have none.I think and hope I only have 1 or 2, I need to be going out later today but hmmm.I do wander what the chocolate fudge I am doing, half of me wants to say, if they don't generate traffic then I will just bann myself and go away but I somehow just keep plodding along beating this mechanical gaming keyboard as I go.I guess I like my job to much to shelve it.

Greetings all.Ah blindncool; glad you posted here and I must also thank aaron to because what he said is exactly what I was trying to say. As for sin not being negative energy, if it isn't then why does it leave such a long lasting and deep impression on a being's spirit/sole? How is it that it can way you down like a millstone around your neck? Why then does it feel like a step toward damnation? I can think of nothing more abhorrent, no greater punishment than to be cut off, separated from Father God and Lord Yeshuah Christos. Also, isn't Lord Jesus Christ or Yeshuah Christos a light being, a divine being, one who Father God created all things through? I believe the verse goes something like 'in him and through him all things were created'. I know I messed that up because I don't know it off by heart. Also, the light that God created and caused to light the formless and void earth in Genesis, what if that wasn't only referring to photon p

hi, so now i've decided to forward some ports, i've loged in to my router but when i fil the fields which is required to open the ports it doesn't open, what am i doing wrong?here's the fields which i have to fil, in the wan and lan port i wrote 2500 2500 which is  for crazy partyNameProtocolWAN portLAN portDestinationi also used udp and tcp ports for the protocoll so if anyone could help me figuring out what i'm doing wrong that would be good, i also typed my local ip so it's not because of that, this basicly happends with all ports i'm trying to forward

I may use braille more if I can get a display of some kind that connects to my IOS devices assuming IOS gives me no trouble. My PACMate is slowly wearing out, and I mostly do not see the point of replacing it, but if I was going to replace it, the BrailleNote would make a good replacement. Anyway, I doubt my name would come out at all. I am guessing that thousands may put their name in. Assuming that this is  the case, the odds of winning are slim indeed and it costs nothing to lose. What is everyone’s best guess when it comes to the number that will enter?

Routing is exactly what it sounds like. what signal goes where, or in other words, where the signal is travelling from and where it's going to. A route, in summary. Basically, it's when you set up what goes into what inputs, what sound comes from where, etc. As for interfaces, I don't use s/pdif out at all... I barely know the difference between that and standard analogue audio, so I couldn't tell you. lol The Motu audio express is also another popular one.

I actually want to get me a new audio interface. However, I'm not sure about what to get...I looked at the Tascam interfaces and they seemed quite promising. I want the device to feature S/PDIF out, but of their devices only the US-20x20 seems to support that, and I don't need that many ports. I briefly looked at focusrite's scarlett interfaces as well, but the 2i2 for instance doesn't support S/PDIF either. So if you had any more suggestions I'd be grateful.Finally a question: What exactly is meant by "routing" and what is it used for?

I'm at task 64 and When I try to land in the McMurdo stations near Antarctica I run out of fuel.I take the boeing747 and fill the tank until it's full.but as soon as I try to reach my destination I run out of fuel.I've tried switching to category 3 planes but they do not have the Antarctica airports, only the category 2 planes.is there a way that I can edit the fuel tank capacity?I want to be able to complete task 64 where I have to land in the McMurdo stations near Antarctica.

We have devices that form an agreement between two players, each player would have to sign at each step of the agreement, then a price is reached and then at the final step, the money is deducted from the buyer's account and credited to the seller's account. I could also take you on a little space tour on my multi-deck starship, for a modest fee. Antimatter doesn't grow on trees, and if it hasn't been made clear by now, we sim everything here. So it is all accounted for behind the scenes, even if the player doesn't generally see this taking place
 .

The only thing that comes to mind is maybe soundrts?  Have you taken a look at how that's done?  Though that's an rts and not a tycoon game, so maybe it won't help out that much, but that's all that comes to mind at the moment.  Their are other sighted devs on here like Aprone, maybe he can offer better input?

As I previously said, shouting it out here is not going to make it better in any ways, rather than drawing those who want to play and can bear the lag away from it. I, for one, can whole heartedly say the lag is no trouble for me at all. but then again, it's just me. You can't expect everyone to feel the same issue, though. Just saying.Jirato has an account here, but he sure has quite a busy life, as so others, so they can't come on and check. If you wanna play it, and you encounter this this this kind of problem but refuse to shout it out at the right place then what's the point? No one can guarantee if existing players are gonna post it for you when you yourself encountered the problem, not them. Or may be them too but they don't give a crap.And for that, I'll see everyone's response again within three days, and if it's positive enough to give a comment then I'll sure bbs the problem. You guys feel free to thumbs me up. 
 But if I find only one person shouting then may be I can't.

We'll probably have the collector's edition (which includes the soundtrack and bonus item pack) available for purchase after the campaign, because we have to order the components in bulk. If we wind up selling out of the collector's edition, then the KS campaign is currently the only planned way of getting the bonus item pack. The soundtrack will most likely be available through iTunes as well. Hope that helps :-)
