For IE, there's nothing you can really do except switch to somethign that isn't IE or edge. For safari, you might want to head over to the player bio and check if you have enabled VI mode.

Howdy all, hope everyone had a terrific holiday season, and the health and happiness continues throughout 2018!I'm currently using internet explorer 11, and I'm having a real problem clicking on the tab links on the core exiles site.The tab links are like, system tab, account tab, and the mission tab, and so on. I hit both enter and the spacebar while on those links, and just nothing at all happends. I've tried using my mouse curser too, with no affect.When I'm on my IPhone using safari, I have no problem getting those tabbed links to open up. The only other problem I am having however is with safari. lol Beyond the undock button, the lower third of the page is all links. Well, the problem is when I swipe and read the link with voice over, their read with all the html code showing, or at least being spoken.Such as, and I'll type out the symbols here as I'm not sure how they'd show up sent to the web page in a post.A link will read as, less than spam class equals yellow underscore title greater than mailbox less than slash spam less than br greater than. And so forth and so on, you get the annoying picture I'm sure. lolAnyway, anyone else experiencing that on safari browser? I just wish I knew how to activate those tabbed links with I.E.Thanks all, and thanks much for the help Goran.

Thank you for such positive comments!Sadly the skill is currently not in the German store. I wish it was. And I've set it up so that it can be localized. So far all I've done is change the names to Indian names in the India geography. There's a lot of text in 6 Swords and we've yet to make money on it, so we don't have a budget for translation. Also it is a moving target. There is still content being added weekly, which means I'd have to have a translator on hand.Starlanes is supported, but is in maintenance mode. I'd really like to get back to it. But it really needs to have the audio interface updated with a lot of stuff we've learned since we first did it. Right now we have limited resources and are devoting our time to 6 Swords. Your continued interest is good to hear, though. We're looking for funding and it helps us to point out that there is interest in it.Inventory management is a problem. I've seen that some users have a ton of stuff in their inventory and I've been struggling with a good design to let you view it. I did change it recently so that it only tells you the top items in your inventory, and you can then use "more" to page through them. I know this isn't adequate. But I'm stuck for ideas to make it better.I have to think of a way to let you call up information on objects and the like. Hmm. I just added a ticket based on some other feedback to add a "where" function, so you could say "where am I', or "where is the nearest village". Let me add a ticket for a "what" function. So you can say "what is a potion of speed" or "what is a goblin". That might also cover what the magical effects on weapons do. Hmm. I could also have it so if you have any of the object in question, it tells you how many you have. That gives a sort of inventory search idea.The Bardic College is kind of fun, isn't it? I'm not sure how much longer it will be there. The fellow who created the service (the author of The Magic Door skill) very generously has let me use it for free for November and December. In January we're going to see what sort of price we can work out that covers his costs, and fits in my budget. My aim has been, when the game is good enough, to have certian features be "premium" features, and charge a small monthly fee. (There will always be a totally free version though!) That would cover stuff like this. Depending on what price model we come up with, the Bardic College might have to go away for a while.Human monsters are a good idea. The mechanics for the game are based on OSRIC a sort of open source version of first edition Dungeons and Dragons. The monster list did have all sorts of human monsters in it, but I took them out for simplicity. But it's easy enough to add them in. I've created an issue to track this. I may even get it in this week's update.As for other gods, I'm pleased to say they are already there! The beta world has a non-procedural geography based on a series of fantasy novels I have written. There are regions with distinct cultures and gods. In addition to Roman, historical religions represented area Aztec, Indian, Babylonia, American Indian, Celtic, Japanese, Norse, Finnish and Egyptian. Fantasy religinos represented are Lizard Man, Gnome, Dwarvish, Halfling, Elvish and one from my novels. For historical religions still worshiped, I have created gods inspired by the historical gods rather than the actual gods, so as to not give offense.If you go due east from Veritas (the big city near the start) you can find a Tri-Form arch which will lead you to the beta area. There are some fun new features there, but some are still a little half baked.

Hey ya you chatty people, a, I have to admit it myself, late merry christmas to all of you.I hope your day was fine and you received everything you wanted xD.Currently the situation is quite relaxed over here, the christmas stress is over and now the preparations for new years eve begin.This year though, I will not party with my family, I will visit a friend of mine in ireland and start the new year with her and her family.Well, and when the new year begins, the first quite big project will take place, we are planning a three to five day trail ride through the cuntryside of ireland. This means that we will be on horse back for possibly 6 to 8 hours a day and sleep at already booked locations where the horses can be stabled as well, or we are just camping next to a village or city, tents and sleeping bags are included.We will be 4 people, me the only blind one xD.This is actually my first trail ride and I am super excited and jittery already xD.I hope you will also have a cool start into 2018.And now I should possibly go to sleep because it's already around 5:08 AM over here.Greetings Moritz.

I adore this game and love to see that it gets weekly updates. what I'd like to ask is some way to examine items we have in our inventory. If I can't find something similar to what I have in a shop, I'm flying blind and often don't know how good stuff is or what I can use it for. Other things that aren't quite as clear such as what exactly some potions do mechanically would help as well.Love the bardic colleges and am playing with the female high elven accent currently. . Also some tips as to what certain magical prefixes or suffixes mean on weapons would be good too, for example, I'd like to know whether the flaming spear does extra fire damage or just does fire damage instead of physical? Also knowing the attack rate would be good or give us some way to figure out why some weapons that seem to do similar damage as others are more expensive in the store.Another idea I think would be cool... human monsters. This would be things like evil priests, cultists, bandits, pirates, raiders, and evil druids or stuff like that. It seems a little odd that all humans are good.Finally, when the world gets expanded enough, perhaps introducing other pantheons of gods in other regions or if procedural generation starts to happen, at random pepper in other gods like Mayan/Aztec deities, Norse ones, or Ancient Babylonian ones. I like the Roman stuff but I think gods ought to be expanded when that happens with the world.

hello,guys as far as i know MCE developers developed there own thing to interact with flight simulator (fsinsider.dll)also, IYP uses fsuipc witch in background uses flight simulator sdk (simconnect)fsxpilot isnt accurate at all for landing the plane (it moves the plane twards the runway but i dont know why it crashes it) i set the speed myself with it

Let us be factual.1.  If you go and talk to anyone on QCG, you run the risk of getting banned by the simple fact that you're interacting with someone else who might take offense to something you do.  That holds true on any game/server/platform; take your pick.2.  If you talk to someone who isn't a friend of yours the risk is even higher.3.  if you talk to someone who has had beaf with you in the past the risk is even higher.4.  If 1, 2 and 3 are true, and the person in question happens to be a friend of the developer or an admin for the service, your risk is even higher.5.  If your table is not private and you're not there specifically to use the service as it should be used, IE, gaming, the risk is even higher.6.  If your intent in the past has been malicious by any means and you recreate, people are likely to care, making your rrisk even higher.7.  If by reading this post you still cannot find a reason without having to have it spoon fed to you, perhaps because you sincerely don't respect that the creator of a game has the right to ban whoever they choose, or because you personally feel that you are above bans, or because you feel that facts 1 through 6 do not apply to you for some other insane reason, your risk is even higher.8.  If you feel the need to report such a thing on a website that has previously said it cannot handle bans concerning other games, your risk is even higher.9.  the question, and I quote, "Isn't this unfair?" suggests there is a need to agree with the topic's creator.  To not agree might result in an argument which could if unchecked by a moderator lead to a flamewar and insult hurling that is entirely unnecessary and definitely not productive to the forum.  If this kind of attitude was carried out and or was in any way present on QCG, which I believe to be true based on the fact that the topic's creator was so hesitant to give any other piece of information other than supposedly just being banned for no reason, the risk is even higher.10.  One plus 2 plus 3 plus 4 plus 5 plus 6 plus 7plus 8 plus 9 plus seeking sympathy puts your risk at highest.Let us please be logical and sensible when handling a discussion of this nature.  It's one thing to want to discuss an issue like this, another to simply want to make devs and their admin teams look bad.  it may be that the admins cannot speak your language and don't have time to be dealing with minor trivialities, or that you said something they misred and misinterpreted.  IN any case, rousing a forum full of gamers who deal with their platform to stand up against them and asking for thoughts on a subject that has been brought up countless times by many other individuals is quite pointless and a waste of everyone's time because there's nothing at all anyone outside of the circle of people in charge of the gameroom can do about it, regardless of oppinion.

The first time you load a sound, BGT decodes and decrypts the sound as necessary and stores it in memory. If you then create another sound object and load the same sound with it, BGT knows this is what you're doing and so you get a second sound object which simply points to the previously loaded sound. This way you don't reload sounds (ogg vorbis decoding, decryption and disk I/O are heavy duty tasks) and you don't double the amount of memory consumption.Some ideas for doing this in C++:Create a class which can store a pointer to some raw memory, the size of that memory buffer and an atomic reference counter.Use an unordered map which stores references to instances of this object as values and sound file names as keys.When load is called on a sound object, check to see if the provided filename has already been entered as a key into that dictionary. If it has, pull that instance and point your sound object's reader head at the already prepared audio bytes in that object. Otherwise, load the sound, create the preload object, add it to the map under the sound filename and point your sound object at the newly created data. Either way, atomically increment the preload object's reference counter.When the sound is closed, decrement the preload object's atomic reference counter. If it reaches 0, remove it from the preload map and destroy it.In BGT, if you load two different files containing the same audio data (even if they are  files with the same name in different locations), BGT loads them separately.To do otherwise would require hashing or some other means of comparing the two files to insure they are the same, which would negate much of the performance gain earned by doing this in the first place.

Try it. You'll find out exactly what happens.I think the serializer would give you an empty string back if you put things in there that can't be directly serialized.The easiest way to serialize collections of objects is to add a serialize method to your objects which takes a handle to the target dictionary and some kind of identifier (which could be simply the object's position in some actor array).That way you can right stuff like:void serialize(dictionary@ destination, int id){destination.set("char"+id+"_health", health);destination.set("char"+id+"_atk", attack);//...//...}The same needs to be done for deserialize. This avoids having to write string parsing functions.

In Britain, customer service or customer care refers to the part of a company you ring if you have an enquiry about their products, occasionally it's called a "customer hot line" but that is less common. There is no specific term for  automated telephone ine as far as I know. most of the ones  I've seen either simply start by giving the customer options for example "Hello.  This . is insert business name. So that I can direct your call Please choose from one of the following options.If you want to talk to our sales team press one, if reporting a problem with payment press 2, if you have not recieved your order press 3" etc. Other more sophisticated ones actually pretend to be human or at least ask for code words (apple customer service does this for example). For isntance "Hello, this is business name. Please let me  what you are calling about so that I can transfer you to the right department" While it's fairly obvious when you are speaking to an automated system, I do sometimes wish they'd not try so hard to be human and not refer to themselves in the first person like that, and said "this is an automated phone system, please speak so  your call can be redirected" since I fell calling  automated program "i" and trying to make out that customers are actually being cared for when they're just running through a stupid automated system which is just  to isolate companies from  customers and let them employ fewer human beings on their phone is a huge cheat. Btw, as you might gather, I'm not! a fan  automated phone systems, mostly because (as happened when i last contacted paypal), I usually end up screaming at them, "Let me speak to a bloody human you stupid moronic machine!"

Well, the MCE devs weren't keen on implementing an autolanding feature into MCE... because they can't.MCE uses the flight simulator SDK, which I heard Robert say in an interview that it caused multiple problems for what IYP was trying to do. He developed the methods for autoland etc from scratch, and the SDK apprently limits a lot of things under that spectrum.As a result, when I got my computer back after  reformatting several times, I never reinstalled flight simulator and/or MCE. Despite certain people that say that the MCE developers won't listen to us, they've added several features due to my input that makes it a lot easier to use. PF3 and MCE is the most you'll come to using PF3 the IYP way with pretty much full voice activation now.Also, MCE users pretty much exclusively use the aircraft with FMCs we can't program. You know, Aerosoft, PMDG, etc. While I do know the Aerosoft Airbus's are usable by scripting voice commands to program the FMC, the problem lies in not being able to actually see wht MCE is doing. You have to program your waypoints in and if you make an error, that interface being inaccessible means we can't delete a waypoint if we made a mistake, which it's impossible not to with that.HTH on the whole MCE thing. They told us if we can figure out a way to implement autolanding, they'd certainly consider it, and I believe them due to what they've already implemented.

With software such as Melodyne this shouldn't be complicated really, because Melodyne was made for exactly such kind of work. It's inaccessible with screen readers though, or at least it was when I tried it back in version 3. I've was also listening to guy doing this in Cubase by just dropping speech segments and dragging them around with mouse to create notes. We can do it in Reaper, by using Elastique algorhythm that works best from my personal experience. It isn't hard, but it's quite tedious because you have to do a lot of splitting, stretching and pitch shifting, and we can't do that with just one or two keyboard shortcuts. Sighted person with a mouse can just do it a lot faster.

I was flying to the destination airport for the first task. I overshot it so I turned around to fly back in range. My altitude was 100 and my nose angle was 0 and the altitude was not changing at all. I suddenly crashed (this was while flying actually away from the ideal target spot). The error was that my landing gear was up. I do want to include controls for Kontakt 5 in SIBIAC.  Sibiac  (Single Image Blob Interface Accessible Control) allows for control of:Addictive Drums 2NI Absynth 5NI Guitar Rig 5Cakewalk Studio Instruments bundleCakewalk Dimension ProBehringer X-Touch EditorThe AZ Controller software in progress will allow physical control surface manipulation and additionally will also allow for possible fx parameter control remapping within the hardware so you can careate your own set of controls for each of your favorite plugins, This setup worked great with Sonar X3  and I think SIBIAC will be the first thing to migrate over to Reaper since it's probably easier and we can use OSARA  with this and have better control value.AZ Controller allowed me to use  a Behringer X-Touch Compact with SAPI5 to manipulate and have accessibility with SOnar X3.  The same can be said for any game controller, and in my case the PS4 controller via USB to the PC.    Hopefully, and I don't see why it wouldn't, we can definitely get this setp in Reaper.  The guy who programmed this stuff knows what he's doing and I generally am just the main tester with the software.AZ Controller Benefits:Clipping indication per trackLevel of selected trackJog wheel by beat, bar or markerFX Parameter control and remappingQuick FX parameter settings (Allows you to control up to 8 encodeer based parameter settings on the fly without changing control modesIntegrated Help function.  THis wil allow you to know what each fader, button, and encoder does  if you forgot, without corrupting your project.FX Tree navigation for install (VST3, VST2, DFX)Immediate send controlQuick in/out selection per strip/track/busBasically this setup allowed me to control up to 8 strips per bank in order, at a time.  Hopefully, this setup will be easily migrated over and everything will be  close to, if not the same.     I will keep everything updated  on these forums.  RIght now, the guy has a lot going on, so he's not able to help me with this setup right now.  HOpefully that will change soon, though.

Hi.So, something from my side of view. The game is good so far, I like the new features because the game gets a bit more realistic in the simming department, install orins mod and you actually have real describtions of aircraft instruments and systems.Sure there are still certain things where someone knowing his way around aircraft is still sort of thinking, what the heck? For example things like changing the squawk code instead of the frequency when you transition into another airspace, or that apparently planes can go into reverse to get out of the gates, there is a pushback service at the airports for a reason people, think about it.I still have a bug though, apparently, the options don't save fore me, when I go into the options, set my music to 0 and hit OK, the music is still there, also when I change the volume of the engine or airport sounds, they just stay the same volume in the end.Greetings Moritz.

Have you at least tried to figure out a solution of your own before asking? I'm not trying to be insulting or anything, just trying to stimulate the process of learning and discovering by trial and error for yourself. Suggesting a solution to this situation is potentially tricky, as everyone uses a very different coding style and it depends on what would fit your game's coding style and layout best. Generally speaking, in programming of any kind, there is usually no single universal solution even if you are facing a problem that others have had before. Likewise, it's often equally as difficult to strictly say that a specific implementation is either completely good or completely bad. Always depends on many different factors.Lukas

the current situation for blind flight simmers?

Hey everyone.So with the recent release of eurofly 2, i was wondering about the situation with FS X and flying.With the going down of IYP, I am wondering if there are any news on the matter of flying.I know that the FSX pilot is an option, but i really don't have any experiences with it, so I can't really say something about it.If I remember right, we also had MCE, but as far as I know the developers were not very keen on implementing an auto landing mode for BVI pilots, but I might be wrong on that regard.So, does anyone know on the current status of the flying situation? The thing is that I invested quite a lot of money into simming, things like extra planes, sound themes, ATC programs, Traffic simulation and real time weather tools, overall, I guess around 150 dollars went into that one.Can someone tell me if there are any people I can contact about the matter? It's not like i am angry with Robert, the IYP developer, but I find it quite sad that he decided to drop the program fully and not release it as a free product, or maybe give those who bought it a refund.My biggest hopes ly with MCE and FSx, so if anyone has any infos or contacts, please post them here.Thanks in advance.Greetings Moritz

I also found something strange, this was not in the beta. So I finished a task today; a rather long one (task 5-7). I got the "task completed successfully" message, went back into the game to play the next task, only for the very same task to appear again. Anyone else having issues with the tasks?

Logic is accessible, but you need to be patient and sometimes need to guess or pray that things are doing what you expect them to, such as selecting tracks. Or mac users i'd strongly recamend just using reaper or buying pro tools, i do not think logic is wurth the money as there's so much that is either only doable with sighted help or so much that is much easier and less time consuming to do with reaper or pro tools. I guess over time you could get really good with logic, but if your just starting out with audio production in general its going to take a while to do even the simplest things. I'm not saying do not under any surcomstances use logic, i'm just saying there are other and better options out there and that you must be even more patient learning logic than another DAW. If you do however decide to buy logic, I wish you good luck.

@22, because it makes locating the PID unnecessary. If NVDA stops responding, I don't need to restart it to do it -- I just enter the image name into taskkill and hope to got it works. I do that on linux too - kill -9 `pgrep `.

I'll listen to those two recordings, and hope I can find anything useful there...Edit:I'm currently listening to the recording, and figured out what my issue was. I was in the hanger...For others who don't know how to get out of this, you need to drive forward until the beeps stops, then turn north to reach the parking.I wanna give a huge thanks to Brendan for those great recordings...

I used to play a lot of minecraft when I had eyesight and i just remember that you could climb over mountains, you would just have to find a path up where the gradient was 1. if there wasn't such a path, you 'd just take your trusty shovel or pickaxe and carve a path up or through.the gradient of the terrain in minecraft was greatly varying. you could have a biome of rolling hills, where the gradient was somewhere between 0-3 or so. but you would also have super steep mountains that might go even 10+ block up in some places.also on another note, you could actually climb up blocks. if you crafted ladders, you could place them on the blocks and climb up, by just walking up them. You could even place the ladders while climbing, so you could climb up any mountain , no matter how high, if you really wantedto, granted you had enough ladders.I am curious if you intend to have the world block based like in minecraft, because I imagine that having to jump over all those blocks would be incredibly tedious for a blind player. But I imagine if the player automatically climbed over single blocks, instead of having to jump every time, then movement in the game might be not too bad.

Problem Starting Up Entombed

Hi everyone,I have some spare time these days and I decided I would get back to Entombed for a while after years. Since the discussion threads for the game have grown so large since I last checked them, I thought I wouldn'T bother skimming through them and just downloaded the latest installer available from the game's official site. I also applied the update provided right next to it, just in case it actually contained a more recent bug fix version than what's listed on the site.However, now that I start the game on my Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, 64-bit, Pro edition, bootcamped on a Mac, it always throws the standard generic Windows dialog that the program has stopped responding. Not even configuring it to run in compatibility mode for Windows 7 and as administrator fixed the issue. The installer did download and install its required components successfully, i.e. Directx and .net Framework, 3.5 I believe it was.Does anyone have any idea as to what I could do to make it work on this system?And by the way, are there any more recent betas or anything that's just not been officially mentioned anywhere? I seem to remember the latest 1.02I version did have fewer bugs than some older versions, but the ones that were left were actually more unpleasant gameplaywise than those older ones.Also, because I really don't feell like digging through these threads or the game's mailing list, could anyone please tell me what's the last known status of Entombed 2, if any?Thanks a lot,Lukas

Well, it should run pretty stable on Linux, if the crash bugs get fixed. I'm running multiple audio game servers made in BGT on my Linux server, and they are running very stable without any issues at all. No need to pay for expensive Windows servers...

So, when you move the physical mouse, the screen reader speaks what's currently under the mouse pointer. NVDA additionally has a feature to play audio coordinates so you can get idea where the pointer is. This feature is probably not practical for a totally blind user, but for a person with some sight like myself, it certainly is.

So I got this game for christmas for xbox 360. What are the xbox equivolents to triangle square circle and all that? Everybody on here seems to play on ps3 or 4 so there's not really any way for me to see the PDA controls because I don't know what square or triangle or what ever is on an xbox controler.How useful is the pda anyway? yeah, this is a common thing. There's also symphony of science, where they do that shit to scientists speeches. Somebody is calling it songifying. Most people that do mixing to songs don't use it because you can tell it's been spliced, there's no auto tune, and barely ever time stretching. This system uses a combination of splicing, smoothing, and time stretching combined with what seems to be some sort of autotuning responsive algorithm to do it's job. Considering the popularity of it I don't actually think it can be that extremely complicated. It can produce some good shit though, the owl city fireflies, in the chorus where he sings long droned out notes, actually doesn't break really at all, which is awesome given my experience with time stretching algorithms and that they usually make very nasty noises.

Well, I figured out how to do it. First I installed x  virtual framebuffer to give wine something to send to. Then I launched it and set $DISPLAY to that buffer. Then I just launched my apps and they worked. The runtime meter currently in use is autoit based, looking for the window and doing things to it. The clipboard function to get the call stack appears not to work, so I'm compensating for it by grabbing the text out of the window. The applications don't even all have to be launched by the same virtualized app, they can all interact with each other as long as $DISPLAY is the same between them.Edit: do note that I am having to use a lengthy command to launch these apps so they can do this.nohup wine blah.exe &where nohup makes it not die when you exit and such, and the ampersand makes it run in the background so it won't hold up your terminal.

The term infoline is only used if the service just provides information.  The most common similar term is hotline.I don't think we use the term customer line at all, but sometimes companies will tell people to call their customer service number.Depending on the context, I suggest either using the term hotline, or telling people to call your customer service number.

Just to clarify, not being able to take off is probably due to the fly according to timetable setting in the flight tab of options. Uncheck it and see if it helps.

It took me a bit of digging through some of the settings to find that setting. Of course, some of the unline digging told me that it was there to be found. It is not really helpfull to have the list of settings that you can change just listed as settings. The about option was listed as settings, the help icon in the settings list was listed as settings. Even the speech on/off setting was just listed as settings. About the only thing in this list that not listed as settings is the sleep timer. So, when you swipe through the settings screen, you mostly hear, settings butten, settings butten, settings butten sleep timer, settings butten on, settings butten, settings butten, and ETC. It's kind of strange seeing that pretty much everything else is labled in the app. Anyway, back to the topic, yes it is good that you can set it up to adjust the level on the headset itself. Anyway, after things calm down thist next week or two, I will see what I can do about that cable. This is assuming that no one else gets to it first.

Question to Minecraft players

Hi folks,there are hollydays, so it is time to continue in our projects, ideas, works etc.I started next part of Blindcraft development after successful change of the used world system. It is targeted to improve generation algorithms. So, after my thought systems, I managed to include modern procedural terrain generation system, based on few types of coherent noises, joined together to give best results.Now all works fine, there are flatlands, valleys, mountains etc. but one problem appeared, which I am unable to solve.Or better sayd, I don't know, how solution for this should look like. To introduce my problem, imagine a mountain. Because Minecraft is created by cubes, you must also glue this hill together with cubes of dirt, or some other material. When you do it, you can see high perpendicular parts as the mountainsides.And this is exactly the problem. These walls are often about 5 blocks tall, so you can not jump on them, Minecraft jump is 1.25 meters high, Blindcraft 1 meter. You also can not climb like in STW for example, that is not allowed in Minecraft.So, what should I do now?One way is to make bigger mountains bases, what will decrease theyr gradients, so it will be no more than 1 or 2 blocks. This hovever have disadvantage that there will be no dangerous parts, only hills, hills and hills, so you will have no places to die.Second way is... Hmm... What else is possible to do?Sadly I can not remember how it was in Minecraft, I always loved creating stuffs, where mountains were obstacles, so I searched primary for flatlands.So, my question is, are there some active or former Minecraft players, who can tell me, what was the gradient of mountains in it?Thank you much, terrain generation is something not pleasant to develop in blindness, so I hope I will finish this part soon.Best regardsRastislav

Sorry for not responding sooner. I couldn't get through to the forum for a few months.Firstly, yes, 6 Swords is still in active development. We introduced a "news" feature to keep people abreast of the new things we've added. If people want me to start a thread here and post about the weekly new features I'm happy to do so. Current in addition to the news we also post to the Amazon Alexa games facebook group, and the game forum. But we're very appreciative of the support we've gotten from the visually impaired community and I'm happy to update things here as well (as long as the admins and patrons don't think that's too commercial).Right now the only quests in the game are the bounties. If you find a non-ruined castle, tower or outpost, just to the left of the main entrance is where you can pick up a bounty. It will tell you how to get to a nearby ruin, and if you kill the boss monster there, you can return and get paid.We have opened up a beta area, with a geography based on a series of fantasy books that I've written. The aim is to have much more structured quests there. In the time period there are two main factions in a big civil war. You will be able to undergo mission for either side, or build up their defenses, and actually affect how the war plays out. I had hoped to have the open in time for Christmas, but we didn't quite make it.The castle you found is probably one that a player has built. You can find or purchase "deeds" in the game which you use to create and expand strongholds. Right now they are just of decorative value, but we hope to add more so you can fully flesh out interesting areas. Our original plan was to have a companion "game" that was essentially an editor, to let you build and share your own custom content for the game. Unfortunately in testing we worked out that the voice transcription in both Amazon Alexa and Google Home wasn't good enough for content creation. (That's some of the reason we missed our Christmas goal.) The land deeds (and permits we added last week) are our second attempt to allow users to create content.I have my own content editor that I use, but it's graphical based. I'm not as keen on distributing that because I want to keep user content on par for both visually able and impaired people. I am super keen on that because I really, really want the visually impaired community to be able to contribute. I think that you guys will demonstrate an unique insight into creating these sort of audio only experiences, and I want to empower that. The land deeds and permits aren't great, but they are a start. I am very open to other suggestions you might have for adding to the game.

Ok, we fixed the antivirus-issue, but now I have another one, inside the game itself.My character keeps running in circles, constantly, no matter what I do, I can only press "r" to make it rest.(normally, any tracking doesn't work during this issue either)Once, but only once by now, by pressing who knows which key. this circling stopped, and I could play normally, everything was functioning the right way...but soon after that the constant circling started again...and I still cannot stop it!Of course I tried disabling/enabling both autorun and turning with mouse, altering none of those settings helped.Anyone of you experienced a similar issue?Is it maybe a simple keyboard-shortcut I don't know about?One thing is sure, the game cannot be played this way at all, so in case you guys have any suggestions, hints, please post them here ASAP!In addition:I remember, back when I started playing STW, I had no such an issue, but it appeared a few weeks later, and made me so much pissed off, that I just "dropped" the game for a longer time.I also remember some players advised me there, to use the compass, and turn into 180 degrees, then...do whatever, I had no patience to perform it, adjusting to turn into exactly 180 degrees was too damn hard ...however, this cannot be done anymore anyway, since there is no more any compass in the starting "survival pack, kit, whatever".

Hi everyone,can any native speaker please tell me what's the best, commonly used and preferably short proper English _expression_ for the usually toll free line where you as a customer call, interact with an automated system and then can possibly be connected to a human operator to consult the matter further?I need to translate a couple product sheets for my employer and I'd like to make sure that the official translation uses the most appropriate _expression_ in this case. It's infoline or customer line in Czech. Would it be something similar in English?Unfortunately, I was not able to find the right word for this either on Google Translate or in any of my favorite bilingual dictionaries I use all the time that have never let me down before.
