When you begin stand still and listen. The sort of humming sound is the big laser in the ceiling tracking towards you. When it gets close you'll hear the hum stop and a buz, at this point if you don't move it'll blast you and you'll die, so begin running to the right jumping the gaps. When you jump two gaps and hear x1 ahead of you (he's always taunting you), blast, and you'll here an electrical sound which is his force field. At this point wait for the laser again and then run and jump back to the left to wait for X1's force field to drop.That's basically the process, taunt the laser in coming towards you then go and blast x1, then wait out the laser again and jump away, then go back and blast x1. You can speed things up and don't need to always go quite as far once you get how fast the laser moves, though as Liam says it speeds up. hth.

So now that I'm more awake, I figured out the perfect solution to this hacking problem, and I think you guys will appreciate this one too. I see possible options here. One, I could try to code a game myself, which obviously I don't have time to do and I don't have time to become proficient at it. The more realistic option would be for me to sit back, shut up, mind my own business, and let things take their course. Me bitching and moaning isn't helping anyone, and since lately I haven't really had time to play very many games anymore it's best that I not say anything about it.

You're missing the point of the hack... lol. This hack isn't one of those... they want to keep it to the actual size of a Game boy game so in theory, if you could put it on a cartridge you could play it on a real game boy. If you're hoping for them to add things from later generations, you'll probably be disappointed. The only point of this hack is for you to be able to do whatever you want, and be able to get all 251 pokemon in generation 2.

1. Put your Steam language in English if you can. Part of the reason you aren't getting ocr is because your ocr is set to English recognition.2. It's harder for me to get settings to appear via ocr, so you might need sighted assistance. IT is under the app itself, not the website.

Okay this is bloody annoying, I reinstalled this as a stopgap until Dragonrip fixes their capcha, then found out the price. while I'm certainly not against paying, ten dollars a month is just not possible for me at the present, heck, I've had to stop my monthly NVdA donations and that is something I use every day. While I'm certainly not against paying for things, I'm afraid this is extremely disappointing.

ah right, thanks now, I was able to create my character now and I don't give so much important to that character customization anyway.I notice something though, it seems all the pokemon trainers that you encounter has a name of brock, clair, misty or Karren and the pokeball has been rename to receptionist and falkner had been rename to your mom so if you go to his gym and try to fight him, you can find your mom in there which is no other than falkner.You can go anywhere it seems on this hack of a pokemon from johto or kanto jumping or hopping between this two region anytime?It seems the creator of this hack of a pokemon crystal just put random maps on it then say there you are, just create your character with all the customization then play this game anyway you prefer to play it so they remove the classic introduction of the game wherein you have to talk to your mom and oak before setting out on your adventure.Heh this is not the really my thing of a hack.I much prefer more the anniversary or the kizo hack than this one unless, they will add soon all the pokemons of generation 3, 4 5 and 6 in the future so you can catch more than 251 pokemon on this hack.I hope they are going to do that in its final release cause afterall, this is just in its beyta stage.They are only in crystal clear baby 2.0

ponty's media downloader problem

hi everyone.I am having a problem with Ponty's media downloader. As far as I know, you can still download whole Youtube channels at once. However, I am having a problem doing so. Whenever I paste the URL into the URL box and hit download playlist, it crashes after a little while of downloading. I have tried updating the download engine as well as uninstalling the program. The only way I can get this to work is by downloading individual videos, which would take forever for this particular channel.

Honestly, I have all kinds of trouble trying to use audible manager on my PC. I can use audible on my iPhone 6+ just fine, but sometimes one wants an audiobook on the PC instead, and that's a little trickier for me. For whatever reason, I've tried installing it a few times, and something always breaks or doesn't work out properly.

I feel like this whole thing is a case of mistaken antecedent. Here, I'll give a silly example to explain what I'm talking about.You run an ice cream shop. Every night at six o'clock, you lock up and go home. Business goes on as usual for quite awhile. Not a huge uptick in cost, and loyal customers surely won't mind.Six days after you do this, your shop gets burglarized, and all your ice cream gets stolen.Now, it would be very easy to say, "Well, you raised your prices, so someone burglarized your shop". And yes, maybe that is possible. But you don't know that. The fact is, someone burglarized the store. You don't really need to know why in order to know that 1. it wasn't right and 2. it shouldn't have happened. No one in their right mind is going to tell you that it's your fault, even if the perpetrator later admits that yes, he stole from your store because the prices went up. That's not a rational response to a price increase, and it's sure as hell not a legal one.What I think the original topic creator was doing is to assume that the decentralization process led directly to the game getting leaked/hacked/whatever. Unless there is definitive proof from guilty parties, however, I believe this is a case of jumping to conclusions. What's more, you're trying to support a return to a single server with subservers mentality, which makes me think you have an agenda, even if it's an actively good one. So you aren't just musing, you're musing because you have what you think of as a solution, or a way to right a wrong, or something like.Either way, it's built on logic that just doesn't hold up. Your presuppositions are shaky, and nothing stands comfortably atop them.

Combo triggers when you're unarmed. It enables you to do multiple attacks at once, and it's bloody deadly. Assassinate only works when your enemy is asleep. It deals massive damage...I used to raise assassinate to level 5 back then, but now I don't anymore. Critical hit+sneak attack is good enough to go.And they say monk assassin is deadly af. I need to test that.

Hi.So this has been happening for a long time on my phone, but I only recently had this problem on the PC when I had to re install eloquence.Basically, now it reads out all capitalised blocks of words as if they were all one big word, for example, Normally CharlieMerry would be pronounced charlie merry, but now it's pronounced more like charliemerry.Thanks,Charlie.

Assassinate is an ability which only triggers under certain status effects, e.g., if you use hide or the opponent is asleep. If combo is razed all the way, you can attack with both your feet and your hands as long as you're not holding a weapon. Someone may have to correct me..

So essentially there are three platforms.You start ont he far left. X1 is on the far right. ou are supposed to jump from platform to platform. When you're close to him, you shoot him. Then you're supposed to make a trip back to the left by which time the force field goes down. While this is going on, a giant ceiling laser is tracking you, and will blast the platform you are on.As you hit X1, the laser speeds up so you have less time before it chases you down and locks on.Jumping in to him is instant death. Same with falling off a platform, or getting hit by the laser.

Again. you're missing the point that it's all based on priorities. I suspect very little is budgeted for accessibility let alone blindness accessibility.There are really two ways to get changes. Legislation, and crowd size. As long as there are only a few hundred blind gamers, things will run a slow as a snail riding on a turtle. The CVA probably was our best friend in all of this as this is what has really forced companies to be trying to make changes. Sadly a lot of those changes are to meet the demands of the law and not for an altruistic purpose. EA has seemed interested in making changes, but the fact remains that we are a tiny tiny minority. I mean. I can't even begin to put in to words how small of a minority we are. So if we're going to want to see changes, for now we're going to have to wait on a yearly basis.Want to see changes quicker? 1. Get more blind gamers. A million should do the trick.2. Lobby congress for sweeping legislation. and then of course wait 10 years for the gaming industry to push for waivers and then don't expect to see changes until the waivers run out. That's what happened in this case. I don't blame anyone. It's just the way of things. We have two people on the forum from EA who are soliciting feedback. they then have to go to their bosses to try to advocate for us. but like it or not, at the end of the day it all comes down to money. I haven't sat in on any meetings, but I've talked to enough people in the industry to know that what is considered are the size of the market, and the cost of the feature.

Hi.I've figured something out about the enhancements.They appear when I use the high deffonition audio device drivers but not when I use the realtech drivers.I can deal with the high deffinition audio device drivers but they're not as loud as I'd like.Are there any more drivers out there like realtech? they're nice and loud but make eliquence sound strange and muffled then back to normal and then back to muffled again.With realtech I get a spacial sound thing instead of the audio enhancements.I tried adding a Loudness Equalization boost with these drivers and it was louder, but made eloquence sound... Muddy? I don't know how else to put it but... Wrong somehow, I think clipped is a good description. The c on the word cancil for example sounds harsh.

My solution to deal with playability has been to adjust sliders and slow down the computer. I realize this does nothing for online games, but at this point something is better than nothing.I bought NHL 20 and still have been having a blast with it even though there are a ton of missing things I'd like to see added. I made the computer simple enough where I actually have a fighting chance (pun intended).Fifa is doable with lowered sliders, but I didn't find it as much fun since the commentary is really lacking and to be honest I'm just not much of a football fan. Also there's very little vibration to clue you in on things. That's something I also find helpful in NHL 20.

That comparison doesn't work mainly because the target audience is the sighted. We're a very very small minority. I mean. ridiculously small. The fact is, we're going to have to wait on a yearly basis until such time that millions of blind people are playing video games where an actual impact could be felt. Never trust strangers is one of the first pieces of advice to be given by parents, and we constantly ignore it. There's a difference between being negative and being truthful. It's a mutual contract. In return for paying full price, we expect the ability to play the game. The idea that we should be thankful without criticism is slightly naive. We're not expecting day1 changes, but you have to admit the current strategy of yearly updates with nothing in the interim isn't working. Lets say FIFA for example had full menu narration this year and no sort of feedback that would help us play the game. We would have had to wait for the next game to see any sort of improvement. Lets say the screen went totally black for someone who was sighted and they couldn't play the game except for the menus after an update patch. They would have a fix in a day, much less a year. We should appreciate what we have, but that should never stop us from asking for more. We're not demanding unreasonable fixes, or even a fix to make the game playable 100 percent this very second, but at the same  time we do want more than just the occasional fix. That 59.99 goes towards updates and bugs. Are 59.99 should mean just as much as everyone else's. If EA charged me 5 dollars and said here, here's a game that isn't at all playable have fun that would be one thing, but by their charging full price they've then entered into an unofficial contract that says yes, we'll take your feedback into account even if we don't implement it as you expect or exactly when you want. We don't need to attack every second, but at the same time we shouldn't be content if there's something we're still struggling to do.

Finite State Machines are commonly used, which are essentially decision tree's. If player within X spaces, moves towards player, if player has garlic move away from player, etc. Random number generators in this case can be really good for building more personality into your AI, like rolling a number between 1 to 10 every few seconds or so, if below 5 approach the player, if above stop moving, etc.On the more technical aspects of navigation and targetting, you would need a pathfinding algorithm like A Star or something similar, aiming in terms of rotation would involving taking the position of the enemy and the position of the player and rotating in the given direction towards the player. Same thing with dodging or blocking, if the player attacks the AI registers the action and chooses a given reaction, possibly with random number generation. If dodge move X to try and avoid attack, if block, well, block.Learning AI's within games are also possible based on retained variables, some being referred to as [Genetic Algorithms], seeing as they learn through a process of natural selection. There's actually an interesting game called [Echo] where each room is filled with clones of the player. Every action the player takes "updates" these clones so they can do the same next round, so if you run around jumping mad and shoot them all, next time they'll do the same to you. Crawl through the next map as a total pacifist, they will too next round. This mechanic allows the player to set the difficulty of their opponents each round through their actions, you could get up and blow past the crawling pacifists this round, but expect them to rush you the next as a result.There's also a Total Beginners Guide to AI article [here], not likely the same as the book nolan mentioned but may still be worth a read.

It’s not the downloading one by one that bothers me, it’s the fact that the audible manager is so cumbersome to use. Audible should release a new version that allows you to download your books straight from the manager without going through the website. Okay. let me explain a few things.1. The studio that made Madden did not make these two games. EA Vancouver was responsible for NHL and Fifa. Fifa had input from another studio, but I forget who that was offhand.2. Karen was the one who coded the original feedback in Madden and worked closely with the madden team since they're all in Orlando.3. When a game is created, certain things are budgeted. NHL spent a lot of their budget on the online improvements as well as the visual stuff which apparently the game desperately needed. They also had to record a whole new set of play by play and commentary data as they lost/didn't renew the NBC license.4. Nothing happens overnight. For example, it took Madden three years to get the text to speech menus. I'd like to point out that neither Fifa 19 nor NHL 19 had anything int he way of narration.5. Going back to 3 for a minute. Nothing int he industry if free. You want a feature coded in? you pay the programmers to code it. You want something extra spoken, you pay your voice talent. When I worked as a software engineer, we would have to create a plan and then figure out how many man hours it would take. We'd then bill our clients for those man hours. So my advice is. instead of being disgusted with EA which is totally counter productive, understand that Rome was not built in a day. Also. here's the most important thing to keep in mind. Nowhere does it say that any company has to make their games playable at all. The CVA states that certain portions such as in game chat have to be accessible, and getting to those parts has to be accessible, but they do not specify anything further than that. Anything extra that we are getting is a nice bonus.

Do you have sendmail or postfix on your system, if not, that may be where your problem is. I'll have to look at your code again to see what's going on if anything and if you do have everything installed and working, check and see if you have a FQDN up and running as mail servers don't like with an misconfigured FQDN setup. Also, check your logs. You also have not told us what system you're running or anything so I'm guestamating only from my experience here with issues I've had in the passt with servers in the like.

In a lot of circumstances it doesn’t matter, because most people hack simply out of the pure enjoyment of attacking somebody else and destroying or otherwise tampering with their property. However, these particular scenarios had motives behind them. With the exception of Talon and Sam, these developers had decentralized servers at one point, but they decided to centralize them again. Their reasoning for doing this doesn’t really matter here and ishonestly really not my concern, my concern is the results of their actions. People should not hack other people, because it’s immoral and they should receive proper punishment for it, but at the same time - in my personal opinion - the developers brought it upon themselves. If they had left things as they were, so many of the problems were having now would not exist. Of course, this is just my personal opinion and you can feel free to disagree with it if you so choose, but I wanted to put my two cents out there and let everybody know where I stand.

HiNo need to redo all the loop files.As for loops pausing, this is an unfortunate side effect, but it should not be nowhere near 200 ms. It should be much less than that.For me its only about 50 ms.Is it really that bad? I can revert to the oold system but that will just slow things down in the long run.

AI is kind of an overloaded term. Look into state machines. You can have an Attacking state that moves toward your enemy and engages, a Retreating state that moves away when health is low, etc. That's a bit simplistic, but will get you in the right direction.There's a book called something like AI for Game Developers. Might be worth looking for. I read a copy 15 or so years ago, and imagine it probably gets semi-regular updates. Even if it doesn't, there's lots of good info on everything from fighting games, to path-finding and swarm behavior. Worth the read. It had a good chapter that modeled AI behaviors based on chemical interactions. So certain molecules attract others to certain degrees, while others repel them. So you could build AI agents that calculate paths by steering toward the player, modeling them as being attracted to the player. Yet if there were hazards, like mines or enemies that could attack the AI, they'd steer toward the player while navigating around the hazard because it repelled them. So instead of calculating a direct course toward the player, the AI would steer toward them while avoiding the intervening hazards, averaging out the attracting/repelling forces and calculating a course that seemed a bit more natural. Really changed how I conceptualized game AI 15 or so years back. It wasn't "do this or do that," but rather "do this one thing that takes both this and that into account and averages the two decisions."

Note: All of my code samples are in bgt, as it's the only language I'm confident in enough to do with this.So, logically, you can make a simple AI, by following something like this:void botloop()

All this would do is move toward you, and attack when in range. This is dumb, and it has no reguard for other things such as moving around walls in a 3d or 2d grid, aiming correctly if there is rotation, or dodging or blocking attacks if that were possible.

Of course, we can solve the navigational thing with a pathfinder... maybe? But the other ones confused me.

Does anyone, including Aprone, know or is willing to share how Aprone makes AI's in Swamp, or how similar ones are made?

This is just logically, unless you want to provide sample bgt code.

I'd like logic first though to see if I can do it on my own.

Sub question:

Is making AI's that learn, inside of a game, possible... And if so, how?Cheers:Redfox.

Okay, hopefully some of the following will help.As far as I know this boss level is straight E.G. no enemies, no instant death pits, etc. Just start running to the right. When you hear him say, "Take that!" that means he's going to fire a shot immediately after. So when he's saying "Take that!" stop running and duck. Wait for his shot, which sounds like a typical laser kind of noise. Once he fires a shot, stop ducking and continue running. When you get close to him, start shooting. If he runs out of range, run after him. As far as I know, the only time he will try to attack you is immediately after he says "Take that!" which he does every few seconds. That gives you a few seconds each cycle to run and shoot.

hello, I'd like to report a bug, though I am not sure if it has been solved.I am currently using the warsim build that immediately came out after the dev-a-thon at the start of the month.I was sending some mercenaries against the bandits and there was a slight mistake in the battle report as it narrated the kills.I sent the mercenary group via single attacks against the bandit horde 3 times,  and one of the times, insteady of saying things like "enemy bandit killed," and "enemy bandit warlord killed" the program identified them as "peasants" and "soldiers." instead. Repeating the attacks this didn't happen again.also random idea for race prefix.WoodenI had wood vampires in one of my games but I think from what they said that meant they lived in the woods. Wooden means they are actually made of wood.

You don't have to get super close. As for the vocano escape level, I've discovered that you almost have to jump continuously to stay ahead of the lava. Even if you run constantly I've noticed that sooner or later it catches up to you.

Try a scrub its a 2 finger jesture where you swipe quickly back and forth. If that doesn't work try any of the unlabled buttons.
