Hi.At Jack well, my facebook usage has quite drastically changed over the years.Back in the day when I was just discovering Facebook I posted all kinds of bullshit, the stuff you post as a 14 year old kid who didn't know how the world worked basically.Over the last years though this whole thing changed. I quid posting every random crap I saw, cut a few strings to blindy organisations and blind people I could give a shit about and turned it into a feed where you would find stuff about my political views, horses, tech and metal stuffage. Facebook is mostly just there for group interactions, managing my FB page and keeping in contact with some people who don't yet have another means of comunication.I am not findable by googling my name, I tried that multiple times now and the only thing you would find is my youtube channel and my twitter profile.I could live a life without facebook in all honesty, although there are some things as I said i am still keeping it around for.But yes, it turned from from my public life diary to a blindy free.Greetings Moritz.

It is true that negative people breed negative energy, but you have choices on how you express that. It can be very hard to live with people who are stuck in their ways and unable to do or say much of anything that doesn't involve blaming others for their own problems. I speak from personal experience on this. While I have my own issues related to these types of things, and I'd never deny that, you have to understand that fighting fire with fire isn't going to help, either. I get the impression that you're not doing this deliberately, but you are shifting blame where it's not warranted. You don't want people contacting you at all hours? There are lots of ways to solve that problem. I can't understand where all this frustration is coming from, in other words. I would be willing to bet that if you talked to one of the well-known devs in the audio gaming community, you'd understand that they receive far more relentless contact, both fan and hate mail, than you can even begin to imagine. Put yourself in their shoes. This is, in all honesty, a very poor example--I could have gone with celebrities, or any number of marginalized groups, on the other side of the spectrum--but it seemed the most relevant way to explain this given where we're posting right now. If any of the aforementioned groups or individuals can learn to filter out unwanted contact, surely you can, too, in whatever way suits you best.

I definitely hear autotoon. This is not meant to be taken as good or bad, just my observation. It's not as obvious as someone who is clearly using it as an effect, but it's definitely there.So is humbabang meant to be a physical attacker or special? I've seen messages earlier in this thread that suggest it's more physical. But his magic attack is quite a bit higher than strength, and it just got sonic force, which is special. Clearly there's more stuff coming though since an earlier message also mentions a move it gets at level 75 and I'm only at 43. Just wondering what I should be dumping training points into.

So, I've been wondering why exactly this game's meta appears to be so hyper-offensive. Part of it is that support moves really aren't that supportive in a lot of cases. Part of it is that we have five moveslots, and in some cases we're just encouraged to spread type coverage. But part of it is dual-type moves. Let me give a couple of examples.slightspoilersbeyondBlaze Punch is flame and fighting; it absolutely demolishes anything that's steel type, with the possible exception of Cofatena. Diabolical Fire is flame and ghost, and tends to wreck most ghosts not named Lantlare (Urainaman and Sylphantom die immediately, even though it's a fifty-power move).So I'm not saying these are necessarily awful moves. I like the concept. The problem is that some of the combos really, really wreck defensive types like steel, and hammer ghosts who really don't need any more weaknesses. Seriously, those two moves alone destroy two master stadium tamers all on their own. Geocombat is absolute murder on ice types. Conjure Sword mangles holy types. Toxic Storm is a death sentence for both plant and insect manamon. And while these moves aren't found on absolutely everything, they're common enough that the metagame really, really likes them. If you have more than one of these moves on your team, you will kill things far faster, and in so doing, it de-incentivizes stall tactics, setup or playing defense in general. Hell, why bother to set up if your Toxic Storm or Blaze Punch just one-shots everything?So I think this was one of those things which would've been hard to see coming out of the gate, but which is actually having a net negative effect on game balance.My suggestion would be to make most moves like this only one type. Make Toxic Storm poison type. Make Conjure Sword steel type. Make the elemental punches fighting type, just give them a good chance to scorch/freeze/paralyze. Make Geocombat stone type. Make Diabolical Fire ghost type with a chance to scorch.Make dual-type attack moves the exception as opposed to the rule for good team-building. Stuff does not have a chance to survive when it's being hit with up to two types it's weak to at once.It really pains me to have said this. I hate nerfing things. But I truly feel that this is doing more harm than good. As cool as it is to have mixed attacking moves, it's broken, and not in a good way.I dunno. I'd be willing to bet that Aaron used auto-tune on the vocal track, because the transitions between notes are not natural, and the holds aren't either. It just sounds slightly mechanized, and in my experience, very few people sing this way naturally. Also, I don't hear flat in this piece except in a few places where autotune wasn't used, and Aaron is sliding from a down to g, and doesn't hit it cleanly. Choruses in particular here.

The fact is, regardless of whether it's been proven that this program contains a virus or not, making a program paid one day and then discontinuing that model the next is not only irresponsible, it's cunning in all the wrong ways. In my opinion, the dev probably wanted to see just how fast he could make a quick buck. Perhaps that experiment backfired when he realized that his target audience was mostly people who could not afford the steep price. I highly doubt that he had a change of heart, despite what I read, which, incidentally, was a vile excuse. In any case, one thing that has been proven is that this program enables you to obtain cracked software. That makes it untrustworthy in and of itself.

I've honestly never seen someone jump out and actually warn! big entertainment of this channel restriction as if they didn't know it already, to the point of getting kicked off for spam because of it. Seriously. As an independent content creator/contributor, defending big media with corporate shlobs behind them is the absolute last thing I'd do. Big media/showbiz already proven their idiocy towards harder working independent artistslong ago, so you can't deny they aren't going to just refuse to take us seriously anyway. Plus your argument just flies in the face of one of the core tenets of a more private internet. Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act is...a privacy...related act. It is not a rating system. That doesn't mean Youtube is going to not ban content that advertises under a kid audience but is clearly not as such, but it should also be made clear that people are not forced to be covered under Coppa.

You want to take two cannons west, I believe, then one north, and then run like hell northward. The room is like a horseshoe, sort of, a capital letter U. You're entering in the northeast part, and you're trying to get to the northwest, but you have to go around.The good news is, once you get through this room once, you can double back and do the room again. And I definitely recommend doing this.

I completely agree with the last post. I also feel this needs to be said, so I'll bite the bullet and do so. I am legitimately concerned at the OP's current state of mind and/or mental health. The complaints they are leveraging are oddly specific and intense, particularly after what was said in post 45. It sounds like this issue runs far deeper than what CAPA may or may not enforce in the end. While there isn't much I can do beyond hoping for the best, and wanting the situation to be not as bad as it sounds under that thin veneer of plausable deniability, I do hope that the message that most folks who are reading this receive is that things aren't all doom and gloom. While we may very well get to the point where draconian restrictions are placed on the internet in the future, I also believe that technological advances will always be one step ahead, so we shouldn't panic or give up whenever something like this surfaces. As was previously stated, big media wants us in the grip of fear. If we're going to fight effectively, we have to break away from that, not feed it by making grandiose and pedantic claims which may not come to pass at all.

It doesn't get Flame Blizzard. Just Torch and Terramagma.I just encountered something a little strange. I was fighting Master Dyaz, he phased to Air, so I used Omega Sandstorm, which is an Earth and Air move, and it didn't affect him. Firestorm and Hurricane, both dual-typed Air moves, work against him fine when he's phased to air. Why didn't Omega Sandstorm?

This has been discussed before. You have to go through the door, then head way off to the right to use cannons and such to get to the laser protection. You'll also have to pass some electricity and such as well. And yes, the box puzzle. I can't and won't be more specific than that. If you haven't found the laser protection thing, then you aren't following walls and aren't paying attention to what you find when you do so. There's only so much I'm prepared to help in a case like that.

Does your board already have a drive attached? Detach and then attach the new drive. If not, you're generally looking at a rectangular-ish insert that is dependent on your board. It is however not a blade connector the way Apple does their drive. The best way is to look at the drive and see which end is the connection point, then attach it to the board.

@AnIdiot:Your argument is exactly what I've been trying to point out for a while now. Sound design takes a lot of work and money and dedication. Not to mention all the permits required for recording artillery/weapons, paying for a helicopter ride circling around a microphone array, etc. I also agree that a lot of big-name sound libraries don't even need to be bought, let alone pirated. Hollywood Edge for example? Way too overpriced if I'm being brutally honest. Why is that? Sound Ideas bought the rights, the original creators royalties are probably long since running their course. And it's the same damn price it's always been. When I can get a crap ton of indie libraries for cheaper but more impressive content. NS's library for 70 bucks. Omar Alvarado has an ambiance library as well (categorical library mind you, but still very good quality). The new sounds as a subscription approach, with sites like zapsplat and audioblocks. It isn't even worth buying big industry names anymore when there is a thriving market of indie content.

Oh, and I am not sure if this is a bug, but it definitely seems strange.I just took my Fowlusion through the master stadium. When it wasn't fighting it was getting like 1200-1700 exp per fight or thereabouts, with an exp pal on.So when I went back to do the upgraded master stadium, it does not appear to get much more exp with an exp pal. This, despite the fact that the manamon are, on average, 35-40 levels higher. It doesn't make any sense to me. I know the exp formula for manamon 2 is different from the first game, but I was hoping to grind Fowlusion up much faster using the upgraded stadium. Thing is, with no real difference in exp between them at last check, I'd rather just grind the weaker stadium over and over, because I one-shot everything and use no items, whereas in the upgraded stadium, there is a real danger of team sweepage if I get unlucky, and I have to make sure I have master herbs, revives and medical miracles. I am totally, 100% okay with it being harder, that's the whole point. But my belief is that this should also give more experience to manamon as well, since otherwise, why bother?It was very easy to get five or six mons up to level 100, with the Pierre fight. But unless that is actually repeatable - and I'm pretty sure it's not - then there's no way to do that with others. I'm trying to grind up for the best master scroll, and it's taking such. a long. time. Just...ugh.

Most games on Itch.io I've seen like planet life use cookies automatically, so unless you've got something set to auto clear them, or run a program like  C Cleaner you should be okay. In the explanation on the front page, the author mentions "saving between playthrus" IE after you've met the merchant and reset, so I  suspect it's only your prestiges that save, rather than your entire game  state, though  I have been a bit busy with manamon and other things to verify that as yet.

Aaron, the thing is that your metagame is offensive, not defensive. Snowstorm damage is great and all, but snowstorm has to be set up over and over because there's no auto-weather. And super speed + super defenses is nice, but it's not actually going to win you battles. Amplify Voice is a neat idea, but sound is one of ice's many weaknesses, and some sound manamon are actually deaf, so they'd be immune anyway.Nah, I'd have the pet collar jack its attack stats in the snow, to fit your meta better.

Hi.  The Manamon 1 sound adjusts don't work for me.  Page up/down might change the background music a little, but pretty much does nothing.  Increasing the SAPI volume through the options menu does nothing.  The results is the music is loader than SAPI and with my not great hearing I have trouble distinguishing the words.  Any idea how to fix this and stay with SAPI?NVDA fixes the problem but isn't ideal.  As the warning says, you have to hit enter a lot more.  My right hand is problematic and this is a problem for me.  I use a left handed keyboard with the keypad on the left and if I could use the keypad enter key I would be in good shape.  But the game doesn't recognize it (nothing happens when I press it).  In games made by other folks it works - seems to be a VGStorm thing.  Is there a way to activate it?

Possible spoiler alertspoilersHi there. I'm in oghma studio, in the last floor where you have to run like hell, the thing is the next boss is the computer. As far as i've figured out some moves fail and some don't (like fear feet). But... Can anyone give some hints on deffeating this monster? he alwais use's iron maiden or something like that and boom, instant kill for everyone, and their power moves (when you hit him and he counterattacks), are just too powerful... So, is there anithing i'm missing? lol stupid studio, i figured like ours and ours to solve this thing up to the top haha... Thank you, btw

Question about the linguistics libraries in Python

So, I wanted to implement my own word solving tool (useful for me playing word builder, lol). The result works, but I wonder if there is a function in Python that'd simplify some things and makes this look a lot more nicer. I welcome your input. Here is the function which checks for all the possible words when given a list of words and the letters submitted by the user:def test_word(words, letters):
 found_words = []
 for i in words:
  #To be used to determine if a sufficient amount of letters has been found.
  found_letters = 0
  for i2 in letters:
   if i2 in i: found_letters += 1
  if found_letters > 0:
   #The first part of the conditional deals with the times only some letters are used, i.e, if the input was dog, one possible combo could be do, leaving out the g. The second part triggers if all of the letters are found, such as dog when given the input god.

You have to leave through the city gates to get to the wilderness. Look for forest terrain out there, and you'll find trees.After you chop the tree, get a saw and "saw log."You might be able to "trim tree" too.Then with the logs, you can make planks I think, which can be used to make furniture.For combat, fight small things - foxes, squirrels, rabbits, things that can't hurt you much. It will go up.If you want to concentrate on a specific combat tactic, look at "help style," for info.Also, after you have worked hard on a skill, sit down and "meditate" for several minutes. I think it increases learning speed.You can fill canteens in the wilderness too, if you see a river.I'm not familiar with Kungesvald yet, so I can't help with directions, but I'll add more when I can.

You can build, but a lot of times with a new skill, you have to try several times before you even get a little success.Also try "prospect" first, and build that up, because it will tell you if there are materials that can be mined.

Hi:What I've found when it comes to accessible games on iOS is that there are all kinds of games to play, so long as you aren't too picky. If you're looking for fully voice-acted titles, those are thin on the ground. I haven't found any accessible fighting games, though I hear Street Fighters is somewhat accessible. Sidrescrollers? Nope. All of these, I'll repeat, are categories of games. But if you're willing to play lots of text games, are willing to play through a good story, etc. then there are lots of games to choose from. I would be the first to buy something on the scale of AHC if it ever comes to iOS, but until I'll continue to play with gamecocks and A Sharp's amazing games.

can anybody help me fitting a M.2 ssd?

I've never met one of these beasties before but I just bought a 500gb m.2 ssd. I know my board will take one but I have no idea what the port on the board should feel like or how to fit it. if anybody could help it would save me taking the computer to a shop and paying them money for a 2 minute job. board is an asus z97-p if that helps. strange looking tiny thing. no cables involved. uses m.2 PCIE lanes.

And when we're talking 100 gold, we're talking in total throughout the game, and not just all at once? I've given some gold and it unlocked some of the items so I'd assume so. Searching the whole 100 gold thing turned up the exp pal 100.0, so I"m just making sure the master scrolls aren't locateable anywhere else first.

Okay I already sirched the thread for this, and came up empty.So I just got to the death dimension, but the boss that attacks you upon first entry is unbeatable!I only have one manamon, and she puts up both protections spells in one turn, plus does something else; the little cheat.Then I get her down to 50 percent health and the b**ch sets off a big bomb that kills us both, but seeing as the computer is all-mighty, it can't lose, so I do.Do I have to set up something like siron's song?That's defanatly possible, but is their any other solution?And, Aaron Baker, it might be a good idea to let us know that we only have one manamon for this battle, as I got confused as to why I was dead with five other mons still able to fight.Yes, I know it only shows one mon if you check the switch menu, but how are we supposed to know to do that right away.Later!

the translate addon is working just fine though... make sure to grab the latest version. and local emulator  isn't that hard to setup. it's hard for me to play this without any some kind of combat log, I wanna know what's going on, how much damage I do etc.

greetings all manamon2 players, I am in the eternal studio and was on level 2. I defeated a couple of tamers, and found a ladder that went up to a bed and i healed my party. Then, i found a cannon and i used a couple of them and got to a place where there is steps that go up stairs, and a conveyer that drops you in a room on f3. If you walk back to a wall, you can hear lasers on left side and a belt running next to a door out. Since i couldn't find a way to turn on laser protection i went out the door indicated, and heard electric pannels moving from left to right. I timed it and got to a switch on the right side that shut off a forcefield and beyond this an electric floor on the center. By exploring i got around it on the right side and found a couple of boxes you can't move. now I am stuck. how do i get the laser protection activated or move those boxes?

only problem I ever had building my own was the front panel connectors for the power button etc. and then when I bought this insanely huge cooling system for my processor I had to have somebody help me put it together. intel 6th gen I7 running at 4ghz, 32gb ram, standard sata3 hyperX savage 240gb system drive, 4tb secondary and an NVidia gtx 1050 with 6gb onboard ram. she runs like a farari. most of the wiring and stuff is easy enough to work out but you have to be careful with power supplies. the main power block is easy enough but usually behind your heatsink you have to plug in either an 8 pin or a 4 pin depending on the board. I blew a PSU once buy fitting the wrong 4 pin on an old board.

This may be a slightly long rambling post classic an idiot style, but I feel it’s something that should be addressed or at least talked about. Any ways, on word.Yesterday, I went through my sound library’s and deleted just about every paid library I could find,   The only survivor being a folder that I got too lazy to delete while searching for sources of new free sound effects in bulk.    That is until now. Bye-bye 1001 sound effects along with anything else that happens to still be in my recycle bin. So why delete them? Because I didn’t actually pay for any of those.  Not a single cent. How did I get them? I sat there wile my computer streamed files from a bit torrent sync folder on to a 2 TB hard drive.  And just like that. I had about 200 GB of free sound effects that actually  weren’t  supposed to be free at all.  And for the last two and 3 quarters of a year, or so I made heavy use of these sounds.  This can be seen in my YouTube videos, though some of them are  re-uploads messing with timelines.Yesterday I finally decided that continuing to use these cracked sound libs takes away from my legitimacy as a good sound designer and video maker. And so there they went.Thing is, it wasn't quite as much of a los as you might think. Why? Because I had already been  transitioning away from these sounds for a couple of weeks now. That may sound small but that's when I was doing a lot of work on my new youtube video. The thing is, if you take the time to truly look, you might not need those  pirated library’s as much as you thought.  A simple look over the sound list in the developers room aut to convince you of that.  Because in reality there is plenty of free content out there that is of high quality.  The adobe sound library of 12 GB uncompressed wav files. Zap splat a growing collection of over 55,000  free sound effects though this one has  some limitations if not on a payed account. I paid the 20 bucks per year and now I can get whatever I want.  Also, a lot of those pirated library’s are old.  A good example of this is the art of Foley.What I'm saying is I don't feel you need to crack sound libraries to sound good any more.  If you have patience and a bit of time, you can unearth some good jems. I also had no idea that I could receive 35 sound effects from boom library per month if I just subscribed to there news letter. I did so, and seconds later, had a link to 35 new sounds in my inbox.  And Ok now I feel I have made my point, mooving on to next point.I know quite a number of people, some  personally, who use pirated libraries, or at least have them.  It almost feels like an epidemic of sorts in this  Community.  It might just be me but the amount of people who have pirated sounds in this community is quite large considering it’s size.  I won’t tell those people that they have a moral obligation to delete those sounds immediately, but I might ask them to think about the hard work that goes into creating them.  And I definitely understand that not ever one has the money to pay for huge sound libraries that cost hundreds, or even thousands of dollars, cause I'm in that group.  I’m simply saying that we should take a look at the amount of illegitimate sounds we actually use as a community, and factor in the sounds we take from audio games like stw and bk 2. Now if none of this really matters to you, go ahead and continue the way you have been, that's your choice and I'm not going to tell you you should do every thing I am, I have no right to tell you to do any thing. I'm just writing the thoughts that come in to my head, for people to read. Oh wait, there’s still 210 GB pirated sounds on my 2 TB hard drive. After I’m done eating fajitas, perhaps I should go take care of that.

I've never met one of these beasties before but I just bought a 500gb m.2 ssd. I know my board will take one but I have no idea what the port on the board should feel like or how to fit it. if anybody could help it would save me taking the computer to a shop and paying them money for a 2 minute job. board is an asus z97-p if that helps.

I'd recommend that you get some older hardware to mess around with, stuff on LGA775 is going for pennies right now. This will let you get a feel for how everything goes together without breaking expensive hardware. You can also pick up an old pre built office PC like a dell optiplex, you'll have a cheap example of a fully built PC in front of you that you can disassemble to various stages and rebuilt again as many times as you like. You make break things starting out and having cheap replaceable crap that you don't really care about goes a long way towards developing the skills you'll need. As long as you do plenty of reading and follow basic safety procedures you'll learn how to build a computer no problem.

a lot of the IOS games have ongoing development. Also there were a few new ones recently relatively-speaking such as audio Wizards. Others such as Landlord Tycoon, Traveler's quest, and if you like gamebooks, Choiceofgames and Hosted games are still active and actively running, as is Godville though herozero has lost its accessibility.Also, I'll put it in a thread in a week or so, but a week from today, choiceofgames is releasing "heart's choice" which is an app for romance gamebooks, though I probably won't play that one anytime soon.I think we've just got a little slump right now, but I doubt the age of the IOS game is over.

it takes some time, but one of the most extensive MUDs I've found, though I know a lot of you are into it is Cosmic Rage. Good game and if you get far enough. You can do almost anything. The game is also, unlike a lot of MUDs hyper-update crazy and I rarely go for more than a couple days without something being added of some sort. The crafting can be pretty extensive on that one actually.
