@Dark thanks so much for the feedback! Yeah this was really only meant to be an intro game; something I can dip my toes in the water as far as programming goes, so I knew a few things were probably not going to "feel good" so to speak. That being said, with the reception of this one (and knowing there are people that do like these styles of games) I would definitely like to make another that is more balanced, more in depth, and has more of a threat of defeat than this one does. Behind the scenes, a lot of the mechanics are simple and not really fleshed out, but I honestly didn't expect it to be played by anyone but me lol.The idea was to make the classes be a kind of difficulty system with the warrior being the easiest to beat it with, and the mage being the hardest, but it ended up being that the warrior and ranger both do well, and the mage has a hard time in the beginning to middle, but it eases up in the end.I think the thing I put the most time into was the writing, so if that came off okay, I think I was okay with the end result no matter how the rest of the game felt. The reason I left the sibling unnamed and undescribed was to allow the player to kind of fill in the blanks. I didn't want the sibling to be MY iteration of the sibling, but whatever the player wanted them to be (male or female, any race, color, etc.). That being said, I definitely could have fleshed it out more.Thanks so much for playing, and for all the feedback.

Bad though it is, it's a damn sight better than sound wave. At least it can sorta do damage, erm I think. I may have used sound wave maybe once ever. As for wild vibration, I probably won't use it unless I think I can kill something quickly or will be switching soon anyway. Ninjarkon is sorta getting good I guess. I'm not using rookie moves anymore at any rate. Nothing left to do after this I think but maybe improve some of what I've got bred. Like this Ninjarkon. The one I had was remarkable strength and magic attack and less than average everything else, and I managed to upgrade that to perfect strength and magic attack with everything else remarkable. Yummy!

@6 thanks for a really well written guide to installing this. i've wanted to try it out for a while but couldn't get my head round it. got some of my old playstation games running on it and works a treet. still can't get jaws to work with it though. NVDA works fine but if i try to use jaws it pitches a fit and uses sappi. wonder if anybody knows a way round this?

@13Imagine that you have a rubber sheet stretched across a frame like the sun, and you take a big rock and put it down.  How the sheet bends isn't the worst analogy for what happens to spacetime when you get a bunch of atoms together.Unfortunately out at this level you're into "because the math says" territory. I looked into taking classes in this out of curiosity, my university didn't offer them until a Masters degree in Physics.

@Meatbag, Jack is the one behind the audiogames archive, Nidza07 is absolutely correct here. The problem with the cheats and reviews sections on the main page, were that because editors don't have access to the server or hosting, we couldn't actually host files for audio reviews and the like, so the sections are wy out of date, hence why the linking to relevant material on db pages.

The best advice I can give is try them and see, really, discovery is all part of the fun in the wastes. That's why it's good to put points into the extra skills perk, at least when you've got enough in regrowth and escape artist to be going on with.I also do wish the game would save, though I sort of rather like the permadeath feature and the fact that the world is so wonderfully randomly unfair .

Time being a human construct has always made the most sense to me. But then the one thing that I don't get is how does gravity influence time? Why does time pass more slowly the closer you get to a more massive object? That doesn't seem to fit with it just being entirely something that we made up. I've also never really been able to understand what gravity itself actually is. Something about mass bending the fabric of space around it, and I guess I can understand if that does happen that if you were moving how space being changed would effect your movement, but why would you still move towards the object if you are at rest.

Hello all,I've got another laptop review for you today. This one in question discusses the Lenovo ideapad 3-14.More specifically, I'm talking about the model equipped with AMD's ryzen 5 processor. Although I myself returned it, I'd like to list pros and cons as I've done in the past with other laptops I've reviewed.prosCheap, it can be had for around $540.Good battery life I managed 6 hours of heavy usage.Quiet, even at the highest fan speed it's fairly quiet.consInaccurate ram advertisements see below.Can potentially hard crash.Processor under extreme heavy loads is unstable.Internal keyboard could use improvement see below.Bad speaker placement.stiff USB ports.Overall, the laptop in question I'd say would work for casual users. If your going to browse the web, IE mobile banking, shopping etc, some light gaming, this would work out great. Many tabs open in firefox would cause a slight performance hit, though.I managed to binge watch rerez tv's channel for about 4 hours while browsing the web. The laptop on battery ran cool to the touch, and the fan wasn't all that loud. It's very easy to drown out by other noise.In regards to audio output, the speaker placement could be better. If you have it placed on your lap is when you will notice the issue the most. The speakers are right under the laptop on the left and right corners, which makes it very easy to muffle the sound.I wouldn't use the internal headphone input if your the type of person who likes to use internal audio for sound design. You get lots of EMF noise through whatever you plug in. If you must, there is no audio processing installed.The keyboard is actually really good to type on. Decent sized keys plus isn't all that loud. Key travel could be slightly better, but it works for what it is.There were two issues I had with it though. 1, no physical applications key. And two, a couple of the keys developed the tendency to squeak. The space bar, and the enter key.Inaccurate ram advertisement this was a big one. The page advertised 8, but you really only got the low side of 5 GB ram. Sure it would show up as 8 installed, though over 2 of those gigs were hardware reserved.The processor itself ran clean and smooth, up until I started trying to use big fx chains. Audio issues and system instability came screaming into the room once I loaded a 14 track production I made a couple years ago that makes most intel processors a little annoyed. Attempts to edit it caused my editor to crash, and even in one instance the machine locked up and hard crashed.Until then, though, small productions and edits in gold wave worked well enough, though I must stress this machine is not an audio editing workhorse by any means.On amazon, it's going for around $540. Nothing about the machine is upgradeable, what you get out of the box is what your stuck with.If your willing to spend some more, the lenovo yoga c740 goes for around $700 $740 on amazon. I am now doing my O and M training, or to be more precise, my second O and M training.My advice to post 1: try to picture the environment you are going to walk into by getting and using as much cues as possible. Good hints are the direction the cars are going as well as which direction the people are walking or interacting or working or whatever doing. It is quite important to get an idea of the crossing because this will help you go to the other side of the road even if you have problems walking straight, which I seem to have too. For instance, if you have a T crossing and you are walking with the cars on the left, going forward, try to keep yourself as much as possible on the right, of course keeping a straight pace and this doesn't matter if you walk 100% straight or not. This is to make sure that you will land on the pavement on the other side of the road. That's also for the opposite: if the cars are driving paralel to the right, try keeping a few centimeters more on the left so that you end up on the pavement.My problem is crossing on a road that has two intersections. There is a place a few meters from my house, and if I cross the first one, I have to tern to the left to find the second. That's the worst urban design one could make. It's absolutely crazy and everytime I have to go that way, I really get anxious.There is a product recently launched here in Germany called field space, or something like this. What it does is that it has 8 vibration mechanisms and they are mounted onto a belt which you fasten as you normally would. The first mechanism vibrates on the north, and each time you tern it vibrates on the respective side you're going. That could be north, norhth east, south east, south, south west, west, north west. I liked the idea, but I wouldn't wear it, for it really deconcentrates me. I have for the most part stopped using the navigation apps, mainly because they really make me lose concentration and it goes so bad that I could feel lost even in a place I know well. What I usually do is that I check the place I want to go to on Google maps before and then start walking from the streets I already know. Some of the navigation apps for the blind give too much information, and that is not helpful in my personal case because I'm not a highly experienced cane user. To me it is important to hear how far I am from the place, and an indication tern left or right also helps. That I can perfectly establish with Google Maps.P.S. I feel obliged to say that post 18 has raised some really good points that I sympathise with.

Hi,I just played a demo of this upcoming title and I must say it is really amazing. This is basically a scrolling beat em up from the creators of REEDEMER and for now it is really playable Between levels you have something like a hub / your base where you can talk to npcs, choose weapons and stuff and this one is probably accessible too.Interesting fact is when you can't walk any longer to the specific direction your footsteps stops so you know where you are. You should be fine then. If you're not sure about Native, the other thing you could do, as long as the Yamaha has midi capability, either through USB or midi interface, is start with the Yamaha and get something like the M32 from Native later. You use the M32 to load any Native sounds, and use your larger Yamaha as a midi controller. I was doing that with an M32 and an M-Audio Axiom, another midi controller, until I realized the Axiom had 49 keys, not 61 like I thought. So I invested in a larger controller and figured I'd just stick with Native. Now I'm using the M32 on my laptop and intend to get a portable audio interface to have a little portable rig in case I need it.

if I'm not mistaken, the tutorial are layed out like this:first, do a single jump by pressing X. then you have to do a double jump by pressing X twice. once that's done, press square to attack, then do a combo by pressing square 3 times. then do an areal attack by jumping, followed by the square button while in mid-air.once done, some soldiers wants to mess around with you so you can try out all of your attacks. don't worry, unlike in the PS2 version you won't lose stamina for doing normal attacks. kill all the soldiers in the area, then you'll learn how to absorb phosons. this is like an EXP that you got after defeating enemies. to absorb a phoson, hold the R1 button. once done, another soldier comes to you, so just kill all of them and absorb the phoson again, then you'll hear a sound indicateing that you've leveled up the sword.now you'll learn how to use special attacks. since your sword is leveled up, press triangle to open the special attacks menu, then press X to choose the only available skill that you can use, the cyclone. basically, using this attack will cause a wind fly to a direction that you're currently facing, hitting the enemy continuously. once done, absorb another phoson, but this time you have to walk around until you hear an item sound. press down to pick up the item, then press circle to open the inventory menu. press X to use the item, then absorb another phoson to reveal another item. pick it up by pressing down, then press circle to open the inventory menu then press X to use the item, leveling up your max HP.then you have to search a door by pressing up while walking, and when your character stops walking press X to enter. fight the soldiers, then after all of them are gone press square to open a chest then press down to pick up all of the items if any. absorb all the phosons if you can, then walk to the door then when in the world map press X to choose the raging battlegrounds.that's it for the tutorial level, hope this helps and I'm sorry if there are mistakes in some parts, so correct me for that.

@Assault: Sorry buddy, I said I'll put the menus etc today but my day was just full of stuff including my son just crying for the most of it's part so I was unable to do that.Regarding the tutorial just use OCR if possiible and if not? Well, try everything you can think of like standing attack, jump attack, when in the air just press down plus attack, press down plus attack to perform an special attack, collect phozons etc. I remember I did it without any tutorials at first.

3D room escape,  the frequency

This is like the most game that got me into it's world that I feel what the characters feel before they express it. And it's quite one of the simplest games out there .  you basically have to enter a youtube playlist. It has 40 videos. You play the first track which is called start here and listen to the tutorial that tells you how to play the game. it is an actual interactive game because you don't just simply have to play the videos 1 after the other. You have to get codes to find the appropriate videos. It's completely audio and uses 3D audio and amazing voice actors. It is just great and I am glad i  played it like 2 a.m.  not sure how to sleep now. Usually these types of things doesn't even bother me but the  sound design., or the story or I don't know . Uh, let me just clear something up real quick. TK was never open sourced. I was the one who leaked it, before silak ever even had the code. So the accusations here are definitely unfounded.I'd also just like to echo the centiment that these games are all long dead, and honestly deserves to remain so. Bloodbath included, it's not even a very good game, was never fully polished, quite apart from anything else. I do think there's a lot of potential and a lot that hasn't yet been done in the online sidescroller seen though, and you can expect to see something from me in the coming months, depending on how life treats me.

Entanglement is strange but not many worlds parallel universes strange.  That's effectively just a way to make the trade-off "I know what this particle is doing" for "These two particles will act the same way".You can understand things like Grover's algorithm with a hell of a lot of thought and math that's barely beyond high school honors level. Unfortunately I don't still have the accessible blog post and it's been too long since I cared to look for me to be able to explain it.In general, in terms of physicists knowing the limits of the universe, they do.  There's not an extra layer of mystery.  You can stack a bunch of stuff up on current physics and just keep going without evidence forever, but you can also do that with religion among other things, and I promise you can find a theoretical physicist somewhere who will say whatever you want to hear.  that's not to say that theoretical physics is valueless or not science, but in general it's a branch of science that is very much the kind of thing where you can run away with it and sound smart and no one will question, so you have to be careful who you listen to.

I do remember Liam reaching out and me telling the staff I sold it to him. I'm not sure what ended up happening, but all I know is there is a blanket ban on these games. I think the admins got confused on what was going on so to make it better for everyone they just decided to outlaw the playing and talking about TK, Ultrapower and any game that uses it's sourcecode.If I'm wrong then I stand corrected and I hope an admin speaks up but that's just always what I thought happened.

Hi! Putting the exe file for lunar ips in the same folder as the patch solved that issue, now i have the trouble of finding the rom i downloaded. It can't find the file and I tried to put the rom file in the same folder as the patch. It may be that i found a corrupt version of the rom, the file name has a ! next to the file name. Is that bad? SHould I get Another rom?

How much does focus "increase the likelihood of a critical hit?" Since Niamanja has to rely on rookie moves for as long as it does, I'd like to get those to hit a little harder, if I can... Also, of the really bad moves like rookie punch, rookie kick, black bite and poison dart that are available, which ones do I want on this thing? Herm, looks like either moves that don't do much damage, and even less when they miss, or moves that aren't very strong, and cause you problems when they miss. Also Bamboustica seems like garbage. Sound wave is trash. So far, I just see a pure plant type with an extra sound type that was added in to make it weak to more things. It's double resist to sound though so I guess there's that. Wait, is double resistance a thing? So, really fast, and really easily to kill. Sound right? Think I've finally made it down to the bottom of the barrel of things I haven't tried.

Hi.I'm using vst instruments and I have record the first midi item, and I want to record the second item with different preset of that VST, with out effecting the first item.So, can I do that in reaper?

@ivan, yes, its his game... the question is, did you cell it to him? Playing the devil's advocate here, but if the answer to my question is yes... Then the ban on this game by audiogames.net, is, in this case, bullshit, and completely ungrounded, as if given its cilag's game, he's the one who decided to open source it. Of course, this is if this is true, that Ivan sold tk to him. If this is the case though, it should be corrected and the ban on this game lifted for good. If  not, however, I stand corrected, and to be honest, I don't really care about tk, but, I do, however, care about the truth of the matter.

I think the idea people get from FTL time travel is a half truth. Light allows us to see our surroundings in this moment of what we would consider *time*. If you travel faster than light, then you would essentially *see* the past, in much the same way that when we look at the stars were actually seeing hundreds to thousands of years into the *past* because of the time its taken that light to travel from that star to us here. Think of it like internet latency, like the delay from the ISS when holding calls, or the time it takes a sonar ping to reach you. If you were to *see* that past though, its doubtful you could interact with it as it would have no physical mass, being merely a light projection.But on the theory of time travel, if parallel universes are a thing, whose to say if you were to travel "back in time" that your not just adjusting your own multiverse position within reality as opposed to altering any definitive timeline in any way? Theres also the strangeness of Quantum Mechanics, entanglement and existing in two points in spaced simultaneously, among other things. Whatever reality is, its probably not what we imagine it is now, based on our current understanding. Life is strange, and mutable.I recall a sci-fi book I read once, can't quite remember the name, I think it was called "The Sphere", but not like the movie by the same name. In it, the world discovers a strange sphere buried in the arctic, and they send a team of scientists in. Inside were curved corridors with indistinguishable doorways all the way down, like a maze. So, they mark the walls, use ropes, and split up to cover more ground. What they didn't realize however, is that each doorway lead through to a different dimensional reality, that there were an infinite number of corridors and versions of themselves going through the ship, and by the time they realized it, they had no idea how to get back to their own reality, having hoplessly lost their way.
