Well Hammurabi, if the history of Christianity and Judaism was as simple as
you make it out to be, it probably wouldn't have taken thousands of years for
it to be debunked by you and your peers. They say a good academic is one who
learns more and more and less and less. You appear to have taken on the task
of knowing all that was learned over such a long period of time and debunking
all of it. Well, my friend, more power to you. It's a big job and should
keep you out of trouble for the rest of your life.

As far as self-confidence, anyone who has put a few years on begins to be
unsure about many things, including the extent of their own brilliance.

Hammurabi, you are so sure of yourself. Every statement is a major
pronouncement of The Truth. You have come as a messiah to save us from our
lives based on ignorance of The Truth or at least that is how your writing
appears to me. All of the scholars of the past in the area of religion were
just ignorant, superstitious peasants compared to you and your peers. How
interesting.

You said you would answer questions, so let me ask youof all of the areas
of knowledge in this wide world, past and present, that need debunking, what
made you feel the world needed your efforts in the area of the history of
religion?

To those who might question the need for the exchange, exploring conspiracy
is not just exploring the communicated word, but understanding why something
has been communicated.

[CTRL] A closer look at what is happening

2002-04-21 Thread Xxx Yyy

So, you see, a lot has to do with human events and humans responding to them.

Just in case you didn't notice, the evil is organized by those who are rational, organized and in control of their faculties. They are using cult mind control operations to deliberately to control young lives to take lives in ways that are as cold and calloused as those of any serial murderer. If their minds have been turned, they have been turned by their own leadership. I am not judging all Palestinians as evil. Far from it. The leadership and that network is evil, using their own people callously. The weakness of the Palestinians and most of the rest of the people of the world is that we have given up our ability to analyze what is presented to us and instead respond like sheep to the emotional manipulation of others.

(Sent to me by a friend)

Many of you have heard of Oriana Fallaci, one of Europe's best known
journalists and authors For those of you who have not, please find below an
article published this week in the Italian magazine Panorama (as well as
picked up by the daily Corriere della Sera) which is starting to make lots
of noise.

Fallaci, now aged 71, broke onto the scene in the late ' 60s when she
covered Vietnam, the Greek colonels' coup, the the Middle East etc., etc.
She was then ultra-trendy and a strong supporter of the Palestinian cause.

Oriana Fallaci on Antisemitism

(April 12, 2002)

I find it shameful that in Italy there should be a procession of individuals
dressed as suicide bombers who spew vile abuse at Israel, hold up
photographs of Israeli leaders on whose foreheads they have drawn the
swasitka, incite people to hate the Jews. And who, in order to see Jews once
again in the extermination camps, in the gas chambers, in the ovens of
Dachau and Mauthausen and Buchenwald and Bergen-Belsen et cetera, would sell
their own mother to a harem.

I find it shameful that the Catholic Church should permit a bishop, one with
lodgings in the Vatican no less, a saintly man who was found in Jerusalem
with an arsenal of arms and explosives hidden in the secret compartments of
his sacred Mercedes, to participate in that procession and plant himself in
front of a microphone to thank in the name of God the suicide bombers who
massacre the Jews in pizzerias and supermarkets. To call them "martyrs who
go to their deaths as to a party."

I find it shameful that in France, the France of
Liberty-Equality-Fraternity, they burn synagogues, terrorize Jews, profane
their cemeteries. I find it shameful that the youth of Holland and Germany
and Denmark flaunt the kaffiah just as Mussolini's avant garde used to
flaunt the club and the fascist badge.

I find it shameful that in nearly all the universities of Europe Palestinian
students sponsor and nurture anti-semitism. That in Sweden they asked that
the Nobel Peace Prize given to Shimon Peres in 1994 be taken back and
conferred on the dove with the olive branch in his mouth, that is on Arafat.

I find it shameful that the distinguished members of the Committee, a
Committee that (it would appear) rewards political color rather than merit,
should take this request into consideration and even respond to it.

In hell the Nobel Prize honors he who does not receive it.

I find it shameful (we're back in Italy) that state-run television stations
contribute to the resurgent antisemitism, crying only over Palestinian
deaths while playing down Israeli deaths, glossing over them in unwilling
tones.

I find it shameful that in their debates they host with much deference the
scoundrels with turban or kaffiah who yesterday sang hymns to the slaughter
at New York and today sing hymns to the slaughters at Jerusalem, at Haifa,
at Netanya, at Tel Aviv.

I find it shameful that the press does the same: that it is indignant
because Israeli tanks surround the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem; that
it is not indignant because inside that same church two hundred Palestinian
terrorists well armed with machine guns and munitions and explosives (among
them are various leaders of Hamas and Al-Aqsa) are not unwelcome guests of
the monks (who then accept bottles of mineral water and jars of honey from
the soldiers of those tanks).

I find it shameful that, in giving the number of Israelis killed since the
beginning of the Second Intifada (four hundred twelve), a noted daily
newspaper found it appropriate to underline in capital letters that more
people are killed in their traffic accidents. (Six hundred a year).

I find it shameful that the Roman Observer, the newspaper of the Pope--a
Pope who not long ago left in the Wailing Wall a letter of apology for the
Jews--accuses of extermination a people who were exterminated in the
millions by Christians. By Europeans. I find it shameful that

Hammurabi did a nice academic presentation of what some academics know about
that part of history. Those who read here should know that there is a big
academic religious movement bent on saying that nothing in Jewish or
Christian history can be accepted with certainty. No Jesus, no apostles, no
Abraham, no King David, no Exodus, no Moses, etc. There is no indication
that Hammurabi is part of that movement, but he may be influenced by it. Why
the trend? Well, if we are to move into one world religion, people must be
convinced that humans all have some sort of good sweet center, kind of like
a Fannie Mae chocolate, that has come out in every religious group to form
the core of their beliefs. If we could just discard all of the outside
shells, all of the sweet centers will come together to form a single candy
that everyone can nibble from.

That the core of Christianity should be belief in a person makes it
difficult. I don't believe in Christianity, but I also don't think the
movement would have come together without a focal point.

We should look carefully at the promotion of Judaism without Torah historical
figures and Christianity without Jesus.

the romans had no problem with jesus; in fact, they really liked the guy -
he told everybody to pay taxes and be good citizens. it was the jewish
leaders that requested he be crucified as he was, by definition, a heretic;
and the punishment for heresy was death. the romans only went along with it
in order to prevent a revolt; pilate didn't wash his hands because he fell
in the mud.

No, the Romans didn't like Jesus. The crowds who followed him believed that he was the prophecied messiah who was going to free them from the Roman government. The religious message was secondary. He was drawing crowds and then, as well as now, governments don't want any large mass of people rising up against them. When that didn't work out, the religious message became primary to his backers in order to hold the followers together until he came again (was resurrected or came back to the earth again in some way). As I understand it, the Sanhedrin wouldn't have met during Passover, even if it worked hand in hand with the Romans.

With no offense meant to Christians, there has been written material suggesting that Jews who traveled at the time as merchants brought back Gnostic ideas which were incorporated into the thinking of some groups in the Jewish community. These ideas made acceptance of Jesus as a messiah easier to these groups. What would now be called "fundamentalist" Jews fought these Gnostic ideas as heretical. However as there were many self-proclaimed messiahs at the time with their own followings, the "fundamentalist" Jews cried out against their teachings but could do no more. Just as Jews and Christians don't go around killing off those like Moon, Hubbard, Sai Baba, or any other self-proclaimed leaders, it didn't happen that way 2,000 years ago. The Romans got rid of a potential trouble-maker and blamed it on others. However, that didn't stop the growth of Christianity and in time the Romans went after the Christians.

What a poetic little piece alamaine. Recently I read a piece in which a journalist claimed that it was "outrageous" that she was actually checkpointed when she wanted to get to Arafat. And then there's the real world where evil, cruelty, powerlust, revenge, jealousy can possess the minds of men who have left the restraits of morality behind. Yes, it's primitive at the individual, community and country levels. It happens in homes, on backstreets, in boardrooms and on the battlefield. Sometimes laws can restrain these displays but only if everyone agrees to play by those rules and punish everyone who breakes the rules. The Islamic countries have been living by their own set of rules which are in conflict with other sets of community rules. And what seem to be the rules by which the Muslims live? Here is an exerpt from a larger piece which spells some of them out.

APOCALYPTIC FEARS NOW; UNFORSEEN RISKS TOMORROW: ISRAEL'S POORLY PREDICTED FUTURE
Manfred Gerstenfeld

Propagating Murder

The importance of Palestinian education is particularly important for two reasons. Today, Islam is the one powerful, worldwide ideological stream in many parts of which a culture of death and murder is widely propagated.

This trend is not limited to the Shi'ites, of whom Iran and the Lebanese Hezbollah are prime examples. In Sunni Baghdad, tens of prostitutes were beheaded last year. In Saudi Arabia beheadings are a regular punishment. In Algeria, major massacres by Muslim fundamentalists have been going on for years. During the month of Ramadan alone, at the end of 2000, more than 300 people were murdered there. In Syria, Bashir Assad has come to power whose father killed tens of thousands of civilians in Hamma. Although not officially proven, it is very likely that the Libyan government of Kaddafi had the bomb placed on the PanAm plane which exploded over Lockerbie.

It is hardly by chance that the world's most wanted terrorist, the Saudi Osama Bin Laden, is an Arab. He has been indicted by the United States for the 1998 bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania which killed over 200 people. Furthermore, he is suspected of having organized the attack in October 2000 on the American ship USS Cole in the port of Aden, where 17 American servicemen were killed; even after that, he moved so freely in Afghanistan that he was shown in January 2001 on an Arab satellite channel, attending the wedding of his son.15

In Indonesia, a country of "moderate" Southeast Asian Islam, the recent explosions of mass murder and expulsion in Timor and the Moluccas are a further example of violence inspired by Islam. During Christmas 2000 in various parts of Indonesia, bombs exploded near churches, killing 13 and wounding 200.16 Over the past decades, hundreds of thousands have been killed in pogroms of various kinds.

No other prominent culture today speaks about holy war the way several main Muslim currents do. Sending young Palestinian children to attack soldiers is one aspect of it. This is not a new tactic, however; it was already applied by the Iranians in their war against Iraq.

Too Old -- Or Sick -- To Live
by Barbara Simpson

[Barbara Simpson, The Babe in the Bunker as she's known to her KSFO
560 radio talk-show audience in San Francisco, has a 20-year radio,
television and newspaper career in the Bay Area and Los Angeles.]

Mayday! Mayday! There's a dangerous trend in medicine that could take
your life. Actually, they won't take your life, they just won't save it.
By what they don't do, you are certain to die.

I'm not talking about refusing extraordinary treatment like organ
transplants, open-heart surgery or use of cutting-edge technology when
those treatments wouldn't benefit your condition.

I'm talking about the little things - like oxygen, so you don't choke
to death; or food (nutrition), so you don't starve to death; or water
(fluids), so your organs don't shut down and you dehydrate. The song was
right: Little Things Mean a Lot.

They're refusing treatment which could make you more comfortable, lessen
your suffering and support your life until you die naturally because
your time had really come and not because you got a great, big shove by
your doctor.

The dirty, little secret is that all medical personnel are being taught
that medical treatment can be stopped when the doctor (aided and abetted
by ethics committees and insurance companies) decides that you're going
to die anyway so they're not going to do anything. Well, they do say
they'll give you pain pills. I guess starving and dehydration is a bit
uncomfortable, especially towards the end.

The shocker is that educated, professional people actually teach this to
students, lecture this to peers, promote this to those who make final
decisions, and use this as a guideline for insurance coverage.

Ah yes, money. It is cheaper after all, not to treat someone. And it's
cheapest of all, if the patient dies! Hey, when you're dead, they don't
pay anything! Wow, what a concept!

The name for this concept is Futile Care. When it happened to my
father - the doctor cut off all medication, including hydration (since
when is water considered medication?) - one of the doctors told me,
that some people call it 'benign neglect.' He quickly added that he
didn't like the term, but he did nothing to prevent it. Shame on him.
And my father is still dead.

Another tragic example is that of Katherine Eileen Hallisy, who endured
cancer five times by the time she was 9-years old. In August, 1998,
oncologists at the University of California San Francisco Medical Center
decided they wouldn't treat her anymore. She was going to die anyway, so
why bother? They did promise Kate would get plenty of pain medication.

Angry their daughter was denied the ability to fight for her life,
Kate's parents found another doctor who would help. The child lived 19
more months, which included, according to her mother, dentist Dr. Julia
Hallisy, her 10th birthday, an Easter egg hunt, trips to the beach and
family times filled with treasured memories for her parents, two
brothers and other family members. How much is that worth?

In an attempt to put some brakes on this in California, State Sen.
Raymond N. Haynes, R-Riverside, introduced S.B. 1344, Futile-Care
Reform. The purpose is to ensure that patients will not be denied
desired treatment that is medically-beneficial and life-sustaining.

The first hearing, before the Senate Insurance Committee, was April 3. I
testified in favor of the bill, as did Dr. Hallisy and Wesley J. Smith,
attorney, advocate and author of nine books including Culture of Death:
The Assault on Medical Ethics in America, which focuses on the
insidiousness of futile care.

Testifying against the bill was an interesting mix: The American College
of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the California Medical Association,
the California Dialysis Council, Kaiser Permanente, the California
Healthcare Association and the California Association of Health Plans.

Their objections were couched in jargon but boil down to two points:

1.We're the experts; don't tell us what to do.
   2.It'll cost too much.

The good part of this is that the committee voted to make it a study
bill, which essentially means it will be examined, refined and be voted
on again. Committee members acknowledge it's a difficult issue.

Be warned: This is not just a California problem. It's everywhere. After
my WND columns about it, ('I'm your doctor and I'm here to kill you'
and He thinks he's 'Doctor God'), I heard from people across the
country and Europe. They're furious yet feel helpless against what has
become a heartless, cold medical system.

People asked me, what can be done? My suggestion is to find out what's
going on in your state, publicize it and find a courageous legislator
who will sponsor a bill.

And the next time someone needs hospitalization, find out the hospital
policy. Chances are, they won't tell you until it's too late.

xenaphage,
Boy, do you sound like a newbie when it comes to conspiracy research. It's
the kindest thing one can say after reading your end of the dialogue. We are
now in a world dominated by public relations and advertising. Every action
is gaged by it's impact on the public, whether that action is taken by a
corporation, a government agency or a political action group, right or left.
Everyone who has ever gone head to head with a school board, a library board,
was at a rally written up by the local paper, checked out both sides of a
story, done research on line or at a library, researched networks and groups,
knows that there is definitely more than one side to a story. It appears you
would have readers accept the media presented line without any question. To
at least one person you appear no different than those you oppose who accept
unanalyzed disinformation without question. Neither of you show any
descretion before acceptance. You are clever. They are clever. The rest of
us will just have to come to our own conclusions based on what we have
experienced in our search for answers about the world around us.

Re: [CTRL] Thousands of Prisoner Boxcars with Shackles From China

2002-04-07 Thread Xxx Yyy

-Caveat Lector-

Anyone who has been around the conspiracy circuit knows the concentration
camp rumors, the guillitine rumors, the boxcar rumors. These have been
around for at least the last 15 years. How about them foreign troops that
are reading directions off the back of stop signs, directions telling them
where to go. And you know what, they are still selling the five gallon
containers, containers that were to be taken off the market so milita people
couldn't store food. Better get them containers before they are off the
market. Oh yes, contact your local Mormon group so you know how to store
food when the foreign troops come in. Did you know you would have to turn
in your money this weekend?

Did I miss any? If may all sound like a joke, but People can only get their
adrenaline up so many times before they stop caring. If real danger comes,
no one will believe it, thinking that it's another rumor.

[CTRL] Barry Chamish on rense.com tonight, 4/4

2002-04-04 Thread Xxx Yyy

-Caveat Lector-

If your computer has sound you know how to work, you can hear Barry Chamish
this evening in an interview on rense.com. Between 5 and 8 pm central time,
7 to 10 pacific time or 4 to 7 eastern time. You can download a realplayer
free or whatever to get it. Jeff Rense has a very popular radio show that
has both straight guests and very controversial ones. Unfortunately the way
communication operates in this country, to get a message out one has to go
thru those who will take your message. My suggestion is to go to the site
early and do what is necessary to get the sound. If you are computer
illiterate and don't have someone around to help, just forget it. As there
are two guests, the time he will actually start is a throw of the dice as far
as I can see.

Chamish is talking about the war in Israel tonight.

[CTRL] The Middle East

2002-03-31 Thread Xxx Yyy

-Caveat Lector-

Let's get real about what is happening in the Middle East. Nazis had cells
all over the world churning out emotional disinformation.

The following piece shows how complex the work of those out to destroy Israel
and Judaism is. Other information shows that suiciders are not young people
acting spontaneously. There are schools, applications, money to the
families, training, and mind control operations in effect. The evil
mentality that would start killing cult mind control operations shows what we
are dealing with. There is no way to stop the large numbers of those under
this kind of mind control.

Anyone who is familiar with New Age--one world material knows that it is
necessary for the one worlders to break the Jews and Israel to show who is in
control. If Israel and Judaism are broken, I doubt there is one other
country or religion who would be left to stand in the way of power gone
totally evil and wild.

BREAKING NEWS: ORIENT HOUSE DOCS SHOW HANDS-ON ARAFAT
PLO ARCHIVES: ARAFAT CONTROLS TERROR IN FATAH TANZEEM AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS

By Michael Widlanski

Israel has uncovered documents in recent days that irrefutably link Yasser
Arafat with acts of terror being committed by the Fatah Tanzeem militia and
by other terror organizations.

Other documents strongly suggest that Arafat and his lieutenants had been
planning the current war of attrition (called “Infitada” by them) well
before September 2000—perhaps as early as late 1995--and that they had no
intention of reaching a peaceful compromise settlement with Israel.

“These documents—many of them signed by Arafat—are more than a smoking gun.
They are a smoking pen—a pen dripping blood--held by Arafat,” declared Uzi
Landau, Israel’s Minister of Public Security, who made the documents
available to The Media Line.

The documents were part of the archives containing tens of thousands of p
apers kept at “Orient House” a set of buildings owned by Feisal Husseini,
Yasser Arafat’s personal representative in Jerusalem (until his death late
last year), and the Palestinian Authority’s headquarters in the Israeli
capital.

The buildings were closed down by order of Security Minister Landau, with the
backing of the Israeli courts, because the Palestinian Authority is not
allowed to maintain national institutions under terms of treaties signed with
Israel.

Additional documents in the archives seized by Israeli authorities reveal
close links between Arafat (and the institutions he controls) and Islamic
terror groups such as HAMAS and the Holy Land Foundation (connected to the
Islamic terror group HAMAS).

The documents also show that the Palestinian Authority (PA) has a strong
relationship with Saddam Hussein’s Iraq and was glad to receive special
monetary aid derived from Iraqi oil revenues made under special arrangement
with the U.N.

Among the notable finds amid the thousands of documents are:

*-- signed orders by Arafat to pay Tanzeem members who were known hit-men;

*--signed reports on terror activities, asking for more budgetary
disbursements, directed to the man who was Arafat’s personal representative
in Jerusalem—Feisal Husseini;

*--and signed orders by Arafat to give official officers’ commissions in the
Palestinian Army to members of the Tanzeem militia, which is an un-uniformed
army that is illegal under international law.

“Arafat denied involvement in the arms shipments of the ‘Karinne A,’ but he
cannot deny these documents that show he and his top aides planned and
financed acts of terror,” declared Dr. Landau.

The documents may serve to put an end to the question whether Arafat controls
the Tanzeem or is being controlled by it.

In addition, the archival material contains many handwritten notes and
letters as well as typewritten articles and essays signed by leading
Palestinians such as Arafat himself, Husseini and Tanzeem leader Marwan
Barghouti.

The material suggests very strongly, among other things, that:

*-- The Tanzeem is an integral part of the Palestinian Authority’s military
branches, and its men operate essentially as an un-uniformed army, contrary
to international law;

*--Yasser Arafat has formal and practical control of the Tanzeem, contrary to
analyses that have contended that Tanzeeem is independent of Arafat’s
control;

*-- And Marwan Barghouthi regularly reports to Yasser Arafat even on
seemingly minute details of his organization’s operations—even the
appointment and rank of a mid-to-high-level officer;

One of the most telling revelations of the documents is that the broadly
accepted view that Arafat “leaves the details to others” is completely
incorrect.

In fact, the documents repeatedly show that Arafat is in day-to-day control
of the details of all his organizations, relaying the information for comment
to the senior members of his military branches—for example, to Generals Haj
Ismail, Abdel-Razek Mujaida and Haj

2002-03-29 Thread Xxx Yyy

-Caveat Lector-

Most countries build up a military by appealing to people who are willing to
die for beliefs in which they have faith. The leaders of the Palestinians are
no different in that regard. Where they are different is that moral
countries give their military members a fighting chance to live by providing
them with training and equipment. The captains and generals put their own
lives in harms way.

Not so the Palestinian leadership. They have so much contempt for their own
people that they callously manipulate the emotions of children and send them
to be killed before they are mature enough to make make decisions about their
own future based on the experiences of life. They do not lead these children
into battle, but send them to kill themselves with no support. These oil
money soaked leaders do not provide a better life for those less fortunate
than themselves in their community. Instead they whip up the emotions of
those less fortunate members with ideas that their lives will only be better
if they can steal from others who have become successful with the help of
Jews from all over the world.

Would the lives of the Palestinians be better if Israel didn't exist? No,
they would have the kind of leadership they have now. Leadership that only
has contempt for the individual in the community who has no power.

Until the average Palestinian begins to see how he has been used, until he
learns to stand up for himself against corrupt leadership that only uses him,
he will remain a victim, perhaps even more so than now when at least he has
an example of a country that worked because it worked together to build
something and not just to kill others.

Not the most brilliant of observations Wes. The Palestinian leadership plays hard, fast and dirty, expecting the world to tell the Israelis to believe they are fighting children with rocks.

Now you want us to believe that the Palestinians have regressed to the primitive level of fighting the Israelis with rocks. Only Christianity? Why not Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism or the Jewish faith?

A flip answer to the clever comments would be that Christians have churches, Jews have synagogues and temples, Muslims have mosques, etc.

All individuals have enough difficulty knowing what is going on in their own religious group and have little interest, time or inclination to research other groups, consequently being unable to answer question about other groups.

But heck, let's just go with the brilliant research done by liberals and antisemites on this board: Only Christians, Jews, and the Christian conservatives have the tenacity intelligence, patience and long term planning ability to plan something as complex as infiltrating or taking over anything.

[CTRL] A wonderful new idea

2002-03-17 Thread Xxx Yyy

-Caveat Lector-

From: Chalmers Johnson
Sent: Friday, March 08, 2002 11:47 AM
Subject: Vive la France!

At last, the French are doing something useful:

French Intellectuals to be Deployed in Afghanistan To Convince
Taleban of Non-Existence of God

The ground war in Afghanistan heated up yesterday when the Allies
revealed plans to airdrop a platoon of crack French existentialist
philosophers into the country to destroy the morale of Taleban
zealots by proving the non-existence of God.

Elements from the feared Jean-Paul Sartre Brigade, or 'Black
Berets', will be parachuted into the combat zones to spread doubt,
despondency and existential anomie among the enemy. Hardened by
numerous intellectual battles fought during their long occupation
of Paris's Left Bank, their first action will be to establish a
number of pavement cafes at strategic points near the front lines.
There they will drink coffee and talk animatedly about the absurd
nature of life and man's lonely isolation in the universe. They
will be accompanied by a number of heartbreakingly beautiful
girlfriends who will further spread dismay by sticking their
tongues in the philosophers' ears every five minutes and looking
remote and unattainable to everyone else.

Their leader, Colonel Marc-Ange Belmondo, spoke yesterday of his
confidence in the success of their mission. Sorbonne graduate
Belmondo, a very intense and unshaven young man in a black
pullover, gesticulated wildly and said, The Taleban are caught in
a logical fallacy of the most ridiculous. There is no God and I
can prove it. Take your tongue out of my ear, Juliet, I am
talking.

Marc-Ange plans to deliver an impassioned thesis on man's
nauseating freedom of action with special reference to the work of
Foucault and the films of Alfred Hitchcock.

However, humanitarian agencies have been quick to condemn the
operation as inhumane, pointing out that the effects of passive
smoking from the Frenchmens' endless Gitanes could wreak a
terrible toll on civilians in the area.

Speculation was mounting last night that Britain may also
contribute to the effort by dropping Professor Stephen Hawking
into Afghanistan to propagate his non-deistic theory of the
creation of the universe.

Other tactics to demonstrate the non-existence of God will include
the dropping of leaflets pointing out the fact that Michael
Jackson has a new album out and Oprah Winfrey has not died yet.

This is only one of several Psy-Ops operations mounted by the
Allies to undermine the unswerving religious fanaticism that fuels
the Taleban's fighting spirit. Pentagon sources have recently
confirmed rumours that America has already sent in a 200-foot-tall
robot Jesus, which roams the Taleban front lines glowing eerily
and shooting flames out of its fingers while saying, 'I am the
way, the truth and the life, follow me or die.' However, plans to
have the giant Christ kick the crap out of a slightly effeminate
80-foot Mohammed in central Kabul were discarded as insensitive to
Muslim allies.

[CTRL] Political part of the New Age movement

2002-02-24 Thread Xxx Yyy

-Caveat Lector-

Recently when I posted the first of a three part series by Lee Penn
([EMAIL PROTECTED]), I suggested that people who wanted further information
contact him to receive parts two and three. When I learned how very, very
few had done this, I was disappointed but not surprised. With so many
sources courting the attention of recipients of information, it's a buyers
market. However, I would hope that more than a few buyers would be
discerning.

In an earlier post it was stated that there is a political connection to the
New Age movement. Constance Cumbey, ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) the Detroit lawyer who
broke information on the New Age movement into the Christian community in the
early ''80s, recently sent out information on this website:

http://earthdialogues.org/index_en.html

If you, as the reader of this, expect to be courted and have the information
shown here clearly placed in your hand you will be disappointed. If you have
a clue as to what New Age is about, this will be a valuable piece of
information to you. If you are a searcher for information about cultural
change, I would suggest you look carefully at the participants, the program,
the goals etc. and do some websearching on Strong, Gorbachev, Kinney, etc.
This is New Age at the upper levels of the structure. Go back to the piece
Revolutions Evolve which I sent earlier as a review piece. Good hunting.

Small business capitalism will be encouraged, though strongly regulated, because the risks that such capitalists must take will be on the heads of those attempting new projects. What is becoming memorialized is that the issue of race is more important than what was done by those who exhibited heroic efforts at the scene of this tragedy. A more fitting memorial would be a very tall pillar shaped like the building. The surface would be covered with stone representations of the flyers put up by those looking for their innocent loved ones who died there. Standing next to it would be one stone figure crying representing the rest of us and another in uniform representing those who helped at the scene. It would represent Americans coming together at a time of need, not another representation of America being split apart by arguments about race.

STRANGE "DIVERSITIES"

Commentary Report By Lee Penn
The Christian Challenge

ON THE EVE of the meeting of Anglican primates from around the world that occurred in March 2001 in Hendersonville, North Carolina, Episcopal Presiding Bishop Frank T. Griswold re-stated his commitment to "diversity": "We are members one of another, like it or not, and we learn to live together."

In his March 4 sermon to the primates assembled, the Archbishop of Canterbury described the Devil as "the ultimate fundamentalist, the quintessential literalist, the dyed-in-the-wool reductionist."

Both Anglican leaders thus tipped their hands: there is to be no exclusion of innovative theology within the Anglican Communion, lest those who enforce Christian order act like "fundamentalists," causing a schism in which those of divergent beliefs cease to "live together."

Yet one wonders whether Dr. Carey, at least, knows where this "fundamentalist"-shunning diversity is leading ECUSA --- and this writer is not referring to homosexuality. Alongside the 2000 Episcopal General Convention's resolution supporting "committed" nonmarital sexual relationships --- which was startling enough --- was its first visible nod to witchcraft.

It was not the first time elements of neo-paganism had surfaced in the Episcopal church, however.

ECUSA has in fact opened two main doors to the theory and practice of witchcraft. The first was California Bishop William Swing's United Religions Initiative (URI), a venture which Bishop Griswold endorsed in mid-1999 when he attended the 150th anniversary celebration for the Diocese of California. Wiccans participate actively in URI summit meetings, and one of the URI's symbols is a globe surrounded by 15 symbols for the world's religions--- including the Wiccan pentagram. Participants in URI events have included the Pagan Sanctuary Network, Druids, the Temple of Isis, the "Goddess Holding the World Mural Project," the Covenant of the Goddess, the Coven of the Stone and the Mirror, and the "SerpentStone Family" coven in North Carolina.

The second door to witchcraft was opened when the "Resources for Jubilee" booklet was distributed to delegates on July 5 during the 2000 General Convention "Jubilee Eucharist" led by Griswold. The booklet carried the endorsement of the Rev. Rosemari Sullivan, convention secretary; it was offered as "a possible source of ideas to carry with you from the Jubilee morning." Bound inside this booklet was the summer 2000 issue of Spirituality and Health, published by Trinity Episcopal Church on Wall Street. The publication contained articles promoting "witchcamps," the Wiccan "Pentacle of Iron" (described as "a symbol emphasizing the interconnectedness of many points, rather than a polarized thinking system of good/evil or black/white") and a "shamanic journey into the underworld and back again" taken by the rector of Trinity Church with the guidance of a raccoon spirit. After some protests within the House of Bishops, the booklet was no longer circulated---but it was not publicly repudiated..

The defenders of Wicca present this religion as a benign way to connect with one's self and with the Earth. Starhawk, author of the Wiccan classic, The Spiral Dance, says, "We're drawn to an earth-based spirituality out of a longing for some true, intimate connection with the earth." Margot Adler, a Wiccan priestess for 25 years and author of Drawing Down The Moon, says that "when the altar is set, the candles lit, the circle cast, you know it is ritual time. Your deep self knows that you are ready to enter what Wiccans call 'the place between the worlds,' the place we often reach in dreams, or in art. Through dance, chant,

Lee Penn has done an excellent job in bringing to public attention what is occurring behind the scenes with regard to the ecumenical movement. As Mortimer Adler wrote, we cannot have a one world government without a one world religion. Conspiracy theorists would like to present everything as a done deed, but the reality is that all activity takes much effort and while those pushing the global agenda are working very hard. Those opposing the changes seem to think that the end times are close, that no efforts can change things, that nothing important really is happening, that everything is for the good, that somebody is taking care of things for them, or nothing is critical yet.

You should know that most of the very few of us who are care enough to pass this information on have burned out over time. Over the last 20 years I've seen too many people burn out, leaving the information passing to others. So, in the history of the world, what else is new.

This story summarizes the activities of the three global summit meetings which occurred in New York City in August and September of 2000 - the "Millennium World Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual Leaders," the State of the World Forum, and the UN Millennium Summit. An abridged version of the story appeared in The Christian Challenge (a traditionalist Anglican magazine) in November 2000. These summit meetings had few concrete results, but show that the supporters of globalism and religious syncretism have an anti-Christian agenda.

Three Global Summits - Much Leftist Talk, No Action

Lee Penn

World political and spiritual leaders held a hectic series of summit meetings at the United Nations in August and September. There were few discernible results - other than providing additional proof that the United Nations (UN), many non-Christian "spiritual leaders," and most of the organizations associated with the UN ("non-governmental organizations," or NGOs in UN parlance) are hostile to traditional Christianity and support a government-regulated global economic system.

Millennium World Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual Leaders

The first of these meetings, the "Millennium World Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual Leaders," was held at the UN and the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City from August 28 through August 31, 2000. About 800 religious leaders and 1,000 observers from 100 countries attended. Bawa Jain, the Secretary-General of the religious summit meeting, said that the goal of the meeting was to create a permanent religious advisory group for the UN Secretary-General and the General Assembly. Members of this committee, "world religious and spiritual leaders," could "take concrete actions for the achievement of world peace" - including traveling to war zones to help settle conflicts. Leaders invited to the summit also were asked to sign a "Commitment to Global Peace," and to pass resolutions on poverty and the environment.

Austin Ruse, who covered the summit on-site for the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute (a pro-life organization that lobbies the UN), reported, however, that the proposed "International Advisory Council of Religious and Spiritual Leaders" was not created at the religious summit. In fact, UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan himself did not agree to this proposal, since he was offered no details about the structure, function, and membership of the proposed religious advisory council. As a result, there is no schedule set and no plan in place to establish this new, formal link between the UN and the world's religions. This is a major setback for the interfaith movement. At the start of the summit, Harvard Divinity School professor David Little had said, "the institutionalization of an advisory committee is enormously important … if the summit is not to be seen as a once-in-a-lifetime thing."

Also in question is Jain's public request for Annan to create a permanent UN department for religious affairs, and to re-convene the religious summit meeting every ten years. With the

Hannah Newman, author of the Rainbow Swastika, which appears on many sites on
the internet, has written an excellently researched piece on a series of very
popular books. Many believe that Lucis Trust has very little power and so
there is no need to be concerned about its message. Wrong! Occult Lucis
Trust thinking is influencing many people. The trick is to learn to
recognize it. It's only great innocence that would lead a person to believe
that a Christian hating, Jew hating, occult organization would openly tell
the truth about how it is spreading it's influence. (Those of you familiar

Conversations With God :
An Uncommon Dialogue (Books 1 - 3)
by Neale Donald Walsch (1997)

After coming across more and more references to this book series and its
author, I started feeling left out of the conversation so to speak.
But what decided me to finally investigate both book and author was
learning through the grapevine that Walsch's God totally absolves Adolf
Hitler.

And as I followed the various threads, I began to come across the
all-too-familiar plan for planetary transformation, known to me from
years of research on the antisemitism embedded in that movement. I have
found more threads in this bestselling book than I care to think about at
the moment. One commonality is that, according to Walsch, these
conversations made their debut through the time-honored occult practice
of automatic writing, making his books a channeled transmission.
Another is this rehabilitation of Hitler, and a third is the mystical
rationalization for his rehab. All of these closely mimic the writings of
occultist Alice Bailey, a major spokesperson for the planetary
transformation doctrine in the 30s and 40s who is still widely revered
today by several influential global figures and bodies including the UN.

The influence of Bailey is likely the reason behind the strong success of
Walsch's books, along with his growing influence and mushrooming global
organizations since his Conversations hit the bookshelves. Here is a
summary of what I found.

First an introduction from Newsweek's religion editor, written Aug.01:
--

CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD, now a five-volume series [3 main volumes, plus a
guidebook and QA book], has kept author Neale Donald Walsch on one
best-seller list or another since 1992. The series has sold 5 million
copies, all in hardcover-not bad for a guy who claims that God talks to
him like a buddy over breakfast. A former Roman Catholic married six
times, Walsch has God's own word that there is no such thing as good and
evil-it's all a matter of group consciousness-and so there is no hell.
But there is a heaven, and even Adolf Hitler is among the blessed, God
tells Walsch, because Hitler didn't hurt anyone. This will come as news
to Jews, but God insists that Hitler didn't inflict suffering, he ended
it, thereby ushering all his victims into heaven ahead of schedule
Walsch maintains a Web site for readers eager for God's latest revelations
and even offers spiritual retreats for those who want to learn how to
schmooze with God themselves. --

I am not keen on contributing any of my hard-earned cash to support Mr.
Walsch's growing empire, so I have not gone out and bought the books to
check them out first hand. But there are a few direct quotes I was able
to glean from the Web. I concentrated on Book 2, which Walsch
distinguishes as a wake-up call to Humanity, as opposed to Book 1 which
he says was to comfort and encourage. Book 2 is where we find the demand
that we change our assessment of Hitler, in order to get to the level of
the divine.

- quotes from Book 2 ---

The mistakes Hitler made did no harm or damage to those whose deaths he
caused. Those souls were released from their earthly bondage like
butterflies emerging from a cocoon When you see the utter perfection
in everything - not just in those things with which you agree, but (and
perhaps especially) those things with which you disagree - you achieve
mastery. No one who has experienced death ever mourns the death of anyone.
(p. 42)

Hitler was created by you. He arose out of your Collective Consciousness.
. . The consciousness of separation, segregation, superiority - of we
versus they, of us and them - is what creates the Hitler Experience.
The consciousness of Divine Brotherhood, of unity, of Oneness, of ours,
not just yours/mine, is what creates the Christ experience. (p. 55)

I [God] do not love 'good' more than I love 'bad.' **Hitler went to
heaven.** When you understand this, you will understand God. (p. 61,
emphasis in original as italics )

[The statement Hitler went to heaven reportedly appears also on p. 35.]

And this absolution pronounced on Hitler is extended to everyone:

Dark Apocalypse:
Blood Lust of the Compassionate
By Lee Penn
The prophets of Theosophy and the New Age movement promise a glorious future very soon for all mankind. Since 1875, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, Alice A. Bailey, David Spangler,1 Neale Donald Walsch,2 Robert Muller,3 Barbara Marx Hubbard, Nick Bunick, and other spiritual writers have said that we can overcome death, ascend to divinity, and build a heaven on earth--if we realize that we are gods, and that all of humanity is One.

This message--a modern restatement of the serpent's lies in Eden (Gen. 3:4-5)--has provided fame and fortune to its evangelists. From the fall of 1995 through the fall of 1999, 2.5 million people bought Walsch's books,4 which are a chatty, comforting restatement of the Theosophical gospel. Rabbi Michael Lerner, who formerly provided spiritual advice to Hillary Clinton, praises Walsch's books: "All three volumes of Conversations With God turn out to be a brilliant work of spiritual discourse, a powerful critique of spiritually dead versions of contemporary religion, and a challenge to those who imagine themselves secular to rethink the metaphysical foundations of their deepest beliefs."5 Nick Bunick, a prosperous Oregon businessman who claims to be the reincarnation of the Apostle Paul, has earned a $1 million publisher's advance for his "revelations."6

Powerful Friends of the New Age Movement

The avatars of the New Age have friends--and funding sources--in high places.7 Barbara Marx Hubbard is one of the directors of the World Future Society,8 along with author John Gardner (founder of Common Cause), Sol Linowitz (former ambassador to the Organization of American States), Robert McNamara (formerly the U.S. Secretary of Defense and president of the World Bank), Irving Shapiro (former chairman of E.I. du Pont de Nemours Co.), and Maurice Strong (secretary general of the UN Conference on Environment and Development).9 Laurance S. Rockefeller has financed the work of Matthew Fox10 and Barbara Marx Hubbard. In turn, Barbara Marx Hubbard describes Rockefeller as her "beloved patron,"11 and says that Rockefeller's "intuition about 'the Christ of the 21st Century' deeply inspired me."12 Rockefeller also funded the Lindisfarne Association, supporting the work of James Parks Morton (who was for many years the militantly avant-garde rector of the Episcopal Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City), David Spangler, and other New Age luminaries.13 Robert Muller, who has been the Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) and Chancellor of the UN University for Peace in Costa Rica, won the UNESCO Prize for Peace Education in 1989 for his theosophical World Core Curriculum. 14

Many observers of the New Age movement dismiss its teachings in the same way that Newsweek magazine describes the writing of Walsch and James Van Praagh--as "religion without the hard parts. ... R. Laurence Moore, a professor of history at Cornell, says that this is a familiar theme in American spiritualism, going back at least to the transcendentalists. 'If you read enough of it,' he says, it all reads the same: goofy, repetitive, goes down easy.'"15 A reporter interviewing Nick Bunick for Willamette Week, a Portland, Oregon weekly newspaper, offers a similarly serene dismissal of Bunick's New Age teachings: "He's found in the Apostle Paul what seems to be the ideal messenger to reach aging boomers seeking a convenient theology; and he's offering them a liberal message that boils down to peace, love, and a toll-free line to your inner God."16
The Blood Lust of the Compassionate
On the contrary--New Age and theosophical teaching is not merely a collection of silly, comfortable bromides. In fact, this spiritual movement is far worse. New Age and theosophist gurus--Blavatsky, Bailey, Muller, Marx Hubbard, Walsch, Spangler, and others--firmly oppose Christian orthodoxy. They believe that the Fall was mankind's ascent into knowledge, assisted by Lucifer--whom they praise as the bearer of light and wisdom. They expect an imminent, apocalyptic upheaval that will lead humanity into a New Age. Afterward, there will be world government, and a new economic order to enforce "sharing." (See the article "New Age Globalist Strategies: Unity, Collectivism, Control," in Volume 23:4-24:1 of the Journal, for the details). Furthermore, many New Age leaders promote the libertine "do your own thing" morality that has wreaked havoc on Western society since the 1960s. Christians worship one God, the Holy Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. In opposition, the New Age prophets propose an unholy trinity: human self-worship, Luciferian religion, and a collectivist earthly Utopia, a "spiritual" version of Communism.

"Man's conquest of Nature, if the dreams of some scientific planners are realized, means the rule of a few hundreds of men over billions upon billions of men. There

[CTRL] United Religions and New Age

2002-01-21 Thread Xxx Yyy
This is the first of the articles I'm sending. We have been told over and over again that all religions lead to the same God...(but that sure is stretching how the religions describe their beyond) . That all religious paths are equally valid...(but United Religions certainly aims to strip religions down to what they have in common). That religions is not required for one to lead a moral life...(then, to take a line from an old story...whose morality will the community be based on). That religion has caused much destructiveness in the world (if so, why promote any of the religions that United Religions seems to promote)?

Religion plays an extremely important role in how a community treats its members. Key players in the New Age movement have repeatedly condemned Orthodox Judaism and Fundamental Christianity in their writings. They laud in those religions the weakness that can be exploited for what they consider the great good, similar to how the Nazis felt Christianity could be changed to work for what the Nazis considered the greater good. As control of religions is expanded under the central leadership United Religions, which is to be the religious equivalent of the United Nations, what will this mean for Jews and Christians who wish an unchanged Judaism and Christianity?

It is my personal belief that United Religions will continue to grow as there is no organized opposition. No material on the growth of this network appears in the standard media, so the general public is as dumb as rocks on this topic and are slowly being led by the nose to participate in this Revolution.

 Midwives of a Common God
The Myriad Friends of the United Religions Initiative by Lee Penn
an Francisco's Episcopal Bishop William E. Swing expects "tens of thousands of leaders of the world's religions, spiritualities, and indigenous traditions"1 to attend the signing of the United Religions Initiative (URI) Charter in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on June 26, 2000. The URI also expects United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Kofi Annan and the Dalai Lama to attend.2
Bishop Swing founded the United Religions Initiative in 1995. The URI intends to become "a permanent assembly, with the stature and visibility of the United Nations"3 encompassing "all religions, spiritual expressions, and indigenous traditions."4
While the URI actually may not see its "tens of thousands" show up in Pittsburgh in June, it has been highly successful in extending its reach in only five years and is growing steadily. So far, URI activities have occurred in 58 countries on all continents, and in 33 states in the United States.5 The URI claims that one million people participated in its three-day global "religious cease-fire" from December 31, 1999, to January 2, 20006—a millennial bash dedicated to the propositions that good intentions are the road to peace, and that all religions really intend the same thing.
Birthing Funding the "New Hope"
The leaders of the URI hope to assist in creating an earthly utopia. The proposed URI charter says that the organization's purpose is "to promote enduring, daily interfaith cooperation" and to "end religiously motivated violence." The URI also plans to "create cultures of peace, justice and healing for the Earth and all living beings."7 Bishop Swing told the 1997 URI summit conference: "If you have come here because a spirit of colossal energy is being born in the loins of earth, then come here and be a midwife. Assist, in awe, at the birth of new hope."8 This "new hope" will have the Earth, not the Church or the Virgin Mary, as its mother. In a sermon given during the 1999 Parliament of World Religions, Bishop Swing said, "What a time to wait on God. . . . for the coming new light among religions, spiritual expressions, and indigenous traditions."9 This "new light" will not be the light of Christ.
As a parallel effort with the URI, Bishop Swing has formed the Inter-Religious Friendship Group (IRFG). Other leaders of the IRFG are the Dalai Lama and Richard Blum, a wealthy San Francisco investment banker—and the husband of United States Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA).10 The founders of the IRFG say that their goal is to "create a confidential and relatively unstructured forum where the leaders of the world's religions can have regular conversations with one another."11 The IRFG has met three times, most recently in November 1999 at the Carter Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The Reverend Dr. Gary Gunderson, director of the Carter Center's Interfaith Health Program,12 says that the URI "is one of the most promising global initiatives," a "long term alignment that will bear fruit for decades."13 He said, "While not a formal member of the URI, President Carter stressed how much the Center valued the role of religious leaders in conflict situations. . . . [CTRL] Revolutions Evolve

2002-01-20 Thread Xxx Yyy

-Caveat Lector-

Over the next week or so, I will be sending a series of articles written by
Lee Penn on the New Age movement and United Religions. He has documented
this material extremely well.

During the last thirty years we have seen many changes in the moral character
of our American society. These changes have come about because the moral
lines of the past are no longer being held or promoted by many mainstream
Christian or Jewish groups. Those attempting to hold such moral lines are
ridiculed by mainstream media and academia as well as self-appointed cultural
guardians, who are promoting a new moral agenda. I do not feel it is
necessary to spell out the changes that have been made.

A while back I came across a small piece that appeared in the Center
magazine, Vol 5, #5, Sept-Oct 1972. It was a presentation by Friedrich Heer,
Austrian historian, at a Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions,
Fund for the Republic. The material presented by Penn shows how such changes
are taking place now.

REVOLUTIONS EVOLVE

The revolution of mankind is such a difficult undertaking that it cannot use
shortcuts. Revolution can only become embedded in history by an evolution
extending over several generations. The revolutionary situation is not
established by a unique crisis, a political catastrophe or the collapse of a
particular power structure, ruling class, caste, or elite. It requires much
more: a wide field in which a crisis can ripen and be taken seriously by a
large public.

Genuine revolution assumes a great measure of inner freedom. Dictatorships,
totalitarian regimes, authoritarian governments are obstacles to revolution.

Without significant changes in the social climate, there can be no
revolution. Thunderstorms and hurricanes are not revolutions, they are
merely passing catastrophes. A change in the social climate means that every
man, woman and child has to learn to see himself or herself with new eyes.
It means that old values no longer obtain. It means that the professional
trustees of power, the ministers of the church, the professors, teachers, men
of business, industry, and science will have become so insecure inside that
they no longer believe the old system is functioning. It means a change in
consciousness.

Revolution takes life from its many fathers. The pseudorevolutionary flees
from his father. He flees from history and condemns himself thereby to
weakness and powerlessness. Genuine revolutionary personalities live on the
most intimate terms with their forefathers: thus it was with Karl Marx and
his ancient fathers, thus it was with Sigmund Freud.

In the long run, the revolution is not fashioned by people who declare they
are revolutionaries. The revolution of mankind will be realized most
strongly where it reaches the deepest levels, in the unconscious. And there
are many people who are working together for revolution, but who do not even
recognize the word, know nothing about it and don't want to know about it.

Revolution, in a word, is far too important a matter to be left in the hands
of revolutionaries.

He's no more tied to neo-nazis than you are...this is CLASSIC disinfo from the Zionist lobby, and utterly absurd. You ought to know better, but then again you probably do.

Bill.

Pity you don't know how to use google. Here are just a few sources of information on Icke. I disagree that Icke can be dismissed because he seems a nutcase to those who learn the specifics of political life. In the big wide world there are many more who try to learn what is affecting political life, but who can only comprehend at the gossip level. Enter Icke. In my opinion, not enough Jews are aware of how his underground culture is helping antisemitism grow. His books sell well in New Age and Afrocentric bookstores. He has easy access to alternative radio shows because with his charming ways and British accent he makes a good guest.

March - David Icke, a speaker known for his antisemitic writing came to Toronto. He denounces the Talmud as racist and blames a secret Jewish cabal for world ills, including the Holocaust. He also relies heavily on The Protocols of the Elders of Zion to prove his points. He returned to Ottawa, Toronto and Windsor in October to loud protests and venues refusing to rent to him.

A reporter in P.E.I. received hate propaganda from a white supremacist group known as the Celtic Sons and Daughters. He used that information to gain an interview with the members of the group and later wrote an article exposing hate group activity in Charlottetown.

>From the study Right Woos Left: Right-wing racial nationalists and antisemites have attempted to spread their conspiracist message to the political left by stressing the anticapitalist aspects of the Third Position. For the most part this has failed, but it is worth briefly exploring. This section is adapted from Chapter 16 of Right-Wing Populism in America: One popular author bringing right-wing antisemitism into left and alternative subcultures was David Icke.26 A former soccer player and sports commentator, Icke was removed as spokesperson of the Green Party in Britain for antisemitic conspiracism in his book The Robot's Rebellion.27 Critics of conspiracism quickly emerged in a number of progressive alternative movements.28 In the social ecology newsletter Green Perspectives, Janet Biehl warned that "antistatism has been adopted by a movement of insurgent hate," and that made it even more important for leftists to understand that they have "nothing to learn from paranoid racists, no matter how psychedelic their conspiracies may be."29 As one report from a progressive watchdog group argued, "There is a vast gulf between the simplistic yet dangerous rhetoric of elite cabals, Jewish conspiracies and the omnipotence of ´international finance´ and a thoughtful analysis of the deep divisions and inequities in our society."30 Click here for the full report: Right Woos Left

Israel Shahak's book Jewish History, Jewish Religion , published in 1994 (Pluto Press) and prefaced by Gore Vidal, appeared in a Swedish translation, by Lars Adelskogh, in 1996. The book was published by Foinix, a publishing house owned by the obscure Institute for Hylozoic Studies, which specializes in esoteric literature such as David Icke's The Robots' Rebellion . Foinix also distributed two articles from the Israeli press, translated by Shahak into English and headed "The Jews Who Run Clinton's Court" and "The Jewish Laundry of Drug Money".

Shahak's book and the articles may also be found on Radio Islam's Internet site, and Radio Islam acts as a retailer for the book. Adelskogh also maintains his own home pages on the Internet, where he describes himself as a "Swedish patriot" and where his antisemitic leanings are quite explicit; he claims, for instance, that the EU is the outcome of a Jewish plot.

OsabaYou really should thank the Jews for keeping information about the
events of WWII alive. Any group who lost people could have done the same,
but they let history slide by. Now that the Plan which Hitler and company
based their efforts on is being brought to the surface again, without the
Jews reminding everyone over and over again what can occur and without
Christian worry about the New Age movement, just who would be on guard about
the changes taking place?

Cynicism is not a good substitute for factual information.

Let's say you are a newbie to conspiracy theory. You see something that

is discord. So you begin to look for a source that sees what you see. Ah,

-Caveat Lector-

What New World Order? Wasn't it only yesterday that we were told it was just
a phrase and didn't mean anything?

This is a wonderful wake-up piece for any newbie conspiracy theory followers.
While many of us shake in out boots trying to find out what is being done to
us lately, those who are moving plans forward work very relently to achieve
them, no matter how many decades it takes. ZB presents his audience with
what is happening now, thus giving members of that audience the opportunity
to help move the goals of others forward. Not too many options in that
piece. Heard ZB talk here in Chicago over ten years ago and his message was
similar. Europe was on the move, it is where opportunity lies, unless
America goes along with the plan, it's toast.

Whether it's the new world order, schools, the churches, the environmental
movement, the euthanasia movement, trade agreements, quality control
planning, whatever...the biggies plan, the opportunists move with the plan
and all work extremely hard to make it happen, presenting the fruits of their
work to their audience in a way that makes it seem as if their solutions are
needed and the solutions have already been found.

Most of us newbies are just outside the loop. As the old saying goes, if you
are going to be changed, might as well just sit back and enjoy it. At best
we may be one step ahead of our friends however... we will know what is
happening.

Re: [CTRL] ISRAELI PROPAGANDA FROM PNEWS?

2001-12-29 Thread Xxx Yyy

-Caveat Lector-

Hank at PNews responds to Mark Bilk.

The Forum holds that the United States has vital interests in the region;
in particular, it believes in strong ties with Israel, Turkey, and other
democracies as they emerge; works for human rights throughout the region;
seeks a stable supply and a low price of oil; and promotes the peaceful
settlement of regional and international disputes.''Norm Dixon

Is peaceful settlement of regional and international disputes what Norm
Dixon of the Greens finds objectionable or working for human rights or
the fact that there are shared Judeo/Christian values and a vivacious
Democracy in Israel? (Israel is the ONLY democracy in the mid-east)? Or
does Dixon challenge the bone fides of my 40 years of activism on the Left
or efficacy of presenting all views for the oldest progressive forum on
the internet (since 1982) which values truth more than a left or right
anti-Zionist LINE OF MARCH.

Mark Bilk prefers propaganda which is clouded by Jewish hatred and false
propaganda is regularly debunked (or challenged) in PNEWS-L, because in
this symposium (with over 2,700 members) we value credibility more than
UNSUBSTANTIATED opinions.

It is also presumptuous of Mr Bilk's to claim it is not progressive to
present historical truth with substantiating citations. That is what we
do. I was in Hashomer Hatzair and with the ZOA since the early 60s and we
were not in the business of manufacturing the truth. We lived it and we
defended then and now the survival of the State of Israel as a refuge
against persecution of Jews and a haven from anti-Semitism. That is our
liberation movement, which has been to no small extent influenced by an
Israeli left and by socialism.

It is also dangerous and myopic for the Left to narrowly interpret
Israel's special reality with a jaundice, anti-Zionism view because it
might be the LEFT thing according to the Chomsky school of politics.
There is also Zinn, Parenti, Lasch, Fromm and Hitchens, and they have not
always agreed with each other. [Neither does Bennie Morris who recently
admitted to having been betrayed by the Palestinians] As a former member
of US Peace Now and a regional representative with the New Jewish Agenda,
I and others in those organizations came to the same conclusions and our
support for Socialist-Zionism remains intact.

Recent disputes in the Nation and Z over Hitchens position on the war in
Afghanistan and others demonstrate that narrowness of some left views.
Either we are democratic or we are not. The left has never been able to
coexist because each line of march is claimed to be the correct one.
Each tendency claims to be more progressive than the other, like the
NARROW line of march which ultimately destroyed the U.S. Guardian
newspaper in the 70s.

There is more socialism in Israel than there is in the United States and
PNEWS recognizes that democratic-socialism is inherent in the Zionist
ideal and democratic implies the right to choose a path to survival.
PNEWS presents that view when no one else will just as it also has Dr.
Francis Beale, who as a lawyer provides counseling to the Palestinians and
is also an honored member who just happens to present a pro-Palestinian
view on PNEWS-L. We also have several former CIA members and I myself was
a cryptologist for a president and for a Chief of Staff - and we have
several reporters and producers, some currently active and one who broke
the Tailwind (sarin gas used in Cambodia) story on CNN.

Subject: WHY IS M.A.P FULL OF ISRAELI PROPAGANDA FROM PNEWS?

In the last week or so there have suddenly appeared in
misc.activism.progressive numerous propaganda articles
for Israel and Zionism from the PNEWS list run by
Hank Roth (the golem). This material is the very
opposite of progressive.

The origin of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is simply
that from 1948 through the present time, millions of Jewish
immigrants entered Palestine and expelled the inhabitants
by military force from their cities and villages, taking their
homes and land, and killing many thousands of them.

The Nazi holocaust in Europe did not confer upon the Jews
any moral right whatsoever to treat the Palestinians similarly
to the way the Nazis had treated them.

And the text in their Torah/Bible that someone wrote saying
that their diety gave them this land does not give them
any moral right either to attack, rob, expel, and kill the people
who were already living there.

The websites below show that Palestine had about 700,000
inhabitants in 1918, of which only 8% were Jews. Many
of the Palestinians were farmers, and even early Zionists
who visited Palestine before 1900 to investigate it as a
possible location for a Jewish state reported that all the
arable land was already in use by the people who lived
there, for growing grain, fruits, and vegetables,

Then let's say you go to the zoo and see an elephant and agree such a thing as an elephant exists, you will depend on others to know where the elephant came from, what it eats, how it acts, etc. Then you may or may not take on trust that those who are reporting these things are legitimate authorities. We take on trust many things in our lives this way. Where larger issues are concerned...the Kennedy assassination, the 911 tragedy, who is lying about about cultural issues ...you will always end up relying on someone's expertise. As an adult, you will determine who you trust in addition to your own experience and observation. This is what everybody does. June, thanks for the background information on the separation of
celebrations. No doubt that Winter Holidays are extremely enjoyable. The
only difference between then and now is that the heavy hand of mass
communication has already relegated the religious component to the fringes.
There can be no revival of the religious component on a community wide level
for many reasons. Anyone who wants to keep alive the religious component
will have to buck the trend without community support, and each individual
will have to decide within himself whether it is worth the effort.

Re: [CTRL] Is This the End of Christmas in America?

2001-12-19 Thread Xxx Yyy

-Caveat Lector-

Even given that the details you give may be correct June though, the fact
that there is a time similarity between a solstice celebration and Christmas
doesn't mean that there has been no history of Christmas celebrations over
the last 2,000 years. The holiday was kept alive by its association with
Christianity rather than the other way around. I really don't think that
those who celebrate the Winter Holidays are calling themselves pagans because
the time frame is there. (It would be an interesting twist...Communities
can't publicly celebrate the Winter Holidays because of separation of state
and grove.)

The thread is titled Is this the end of Christmas in America? The answer
is really no. In the same way that the holidays of Judaism are really
irrelevant to the larger community, so it will be with the Christian
holidays, believers in monotheistic religion becoming a rather quaint subset
of the larger community. Communities are held together by shared rituals
among other things. Winter Holidays is such a forced, shared ritual. In time
we Jews will be asked why we aren't celebrating Winter Holidays with the rest
of the community? What will our answer be? It certainly has been much
easier for us to answer why we don't celebrate Christmas.

Anyway, redefining how that day in December is to be celebrated is only one
part of the ongoing change to irrelevance of the monotheistic religions to
life in the New World Order. As Mortimer Adler wrote, the New World Order
must have a culture in common, and Judaism, Christianity and Islam are not
acceptable.

the cause for celebration is at a basic instinctive level. how you celebrate it i will leave to your own judgement. sacrifice something for all i care. your god perhaps. oh sorry- that's the whole point isn't it? or is that the other one, easter. oh yeah it is, cause that's when you remember that it was your sins that killed him. your sins.

As I stated that I am Jewish, are you implying it was because of the sins of the Jews that the crucifixion took place (not very nice on your part) or is it that you don't read carefully?

As I don't have a basic instinct to have solstice celebrations, I guess I don't have to make those kind of arrangements. Thank heavens. Dancing skyclad in a grove in this kind of weather is hard on the bones.

June,
I dislike being put in the position of defending Christian history, but I've learned that charming but simplistic understandings of the culture of others is foolish. I would suggest you go to the Catholic Encyclopedia to learn Catholic history. http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/03724b.htm

Volumes have been written through the years arguing the details of how Christmas was named, celebrated, how the time frame was played out, differences between cultures, etc. Whether one accepts the truth of a religious belief, one must understand that intelligent people have followed the path of that belief for their own reasons. In addition it would be foolish to deny that for at least 1700 years growing numbers of Christians associated the rituals with their belief in the birth of Christ rather than associating the rituals with a belief in paganism. There is growing tension as those believing in Christianity are being asked to split themselves in two, one part celebrating Winter Holidays while the other part attempts to celebrate Christmas.

As I said, it will not be the end of Christmas in America. The situation is much more complex than that.

Many years ago when there was broadcasting from the Soviet Union that was
beamed out of Cuba and could be heard on an am station, I heard how Winter
Holidays were celebrated in the Soviet Union. It seems everything was the
same as here except there was no religious component. There were gifts, days
off, sled rides, trees and a version of Santa Claus. I forget what else.
Somebody must have written about this. Anyway, it will be up to the
religious leaders to make sure that members of their congregations work at
keeping the religious component alive in their personal lives and not depend
on the larger community to do their work for them. It will be up to them to
remind their followers that Winter Holidays are being celebrated at the same
time Christmas is and not to confuse the two.

[CTRL] Javier Solana

2001-12-18 Thread Xxx Yyy
The following is being posted for those who have been following the political aspects of the New Age movement.

Constance Cumbey, a Detroit lawyer, has been following the activities of Javier Solana for the past six years. She recently sent out the following, which I am posting with her permission. Solana does not have a high media image but has much power as the following list will show. As part of her research on the political aspects of the New Age movement, Cumbey learned that Javier Solana was a participant in the Fire in the Crystal conference held in Italy. A search done on other participants at that conference led to information about the Darjeeling Declaration. Following the following bio information on Solana, I've listed sites with detailed information about both. For many reasons Solana bears watching.

Cumbey writes:

I have studied him since 11-22-95, the date I first became aware of him.

1. He is currently the acknowledged "czar" of all European foreign and military policy.

2. His "empowering resolution" giving him virtually dictatorial emergency powers over Europe, drafted by him, and for him, is believe it or not, "Assembly Recommendation 666". Paragraph 12 gives him the power to convene the PSC (Political Security Committee) of the Council of the European Union in the event of a political emergency.

3. The Political Security Committee is selected by Solana and reports only to Solana.

4. The European Army generals report to Solana and are appointed by him.

5. When he formerly headed NATO (from December 1995 through October 1999), he was given sole power to make the military decisions over Yugoslavia. This is more power than any NATO leader has been given before or since.

6. Javier Solana was made the head of the ten nation Western European Union in November, 1999. Supposedly, it was to fold its power into the European Union, but then it was decided that the Brussels Treaty of 1948 prevented it from giving up that power. They then came up with a weighted voting scheme, but bottom line, Javier is in charge.

7. He was on our subversive list for years. He was THE LEADER of the Spanish opposition to NATO and not during his juvenile years either -- during the same time that I was diligently trying to educate folks on the New Age Movement -- during the 1980s.

8. He was officially a Marxist until September 29, 1979.

9. He is a known anti-clerical activist.

10. He is the only person on the so-called "Mitchell Commission" who has the power to bind governments without going home for permission. He is working, per his own words, on seeking a "permanent solution" for peace in the Middle East.

11. When he was still Foreign Minister for Spain, as acting "President of the Council of Europe" during Spain's two curiously coinciding presidencies of the European Union and Western European Union, during a six month period in 1995, he negotiated, concluded, executed and signed a "Treaty of Association" between the European Union and Israel. THIS WAS DONE ON NOVEMBER 20, 1995.

12. On NOVEMBER 27-28, 1995 he chaired and presided over the BARCELONA CONFERENCE which had the goals of (1) BATTLE RELIGIOUS FUNDAMENTALISM -- WORLDWIDE; (2) FAVORABLE TRADING TERMS FOR THE EUROPEAN MEMBERS vis a vis THE OIL PRODUCING COUNTRY MEMBERS OF THAT 27 NATION ALLIANCE; (3) ELIMINATE AND/OR GREATLY REDUCE USA PRESENCE IN THE MEDITERRANEAN. He achieved this "Barcelona Treaty" and was given sole credit for the accomplishment. This is a self-conscious revival of the old Roman Empire. Only Libya declined to participate (they have since come crawling to him, however) and if God spoke once through Baalam's ass, he could speak once through Muammar Khaddafy as well. Khaddafy prophetically railed at the other African participants saying, "What's the matter with you idiots, can't you see this is a blatant European attempt to gain hegemony over our region?!"

13. Two days after this conference concluded, Javier Solana, as a surprise dark-horse candidate was UNANIMOUSLY picked to be the new head of NATO.

14. When the bombs were to begin falling on Yugoslavia in March of 1999, President Clinton spoke to our nation. His words were "I agree with Javier Solana's decision to do this." Few Americans bothered to ask, "WHO'S JAVIER SOLANA?"

15. Two days after he signed the treaty with Israel, on November 22, 1995, there was a massive earthquake in the Middle East which is the ONLY earthquake of which I have known to be historically revised downwards. The correct data still appears on US Geological Service data bases. The earthquake was 7.2 mw; but very quickly many sources started to report it as only 6.2 mw to the dismay of hapless architects and engineers blamed for designing buildings which could not withstand an earthquake of that magnitude. The quake was so severe that heads rolled from ancient royal mummies in

Can Hospitals Have the Right to Pull Your Plug?
by Wesley Smith

[Wesley J. Smith is the author of Culture of Death: The Assault on
Medical Ethics in America and a leading pro-life spokesman on medical
ethics issues.]

Imagine visiting your 85-year-old mother in the hospital after she has a
debilitating stroke. You find out that, in order to survive, she
requires a feeding tube and antibiotics to fight an infection. She once
told you that no matter what happened, she wants to live.

But the doctor refuses further life-sustaining treatment. When you ask
why, you are told, in effect, The time has come for your mother to die.
All we will provide is comfort care.

Sound far-fetched? It's not. It's already happening.

Just as doctors once hooked people up to machines against their will,
now many bioethicists advocate that doctors be permitted to refuse
life-sustaining treatment that a patient wants but that they deem
futile or inappropriate.

Alarmingly, hospitals in California and throughout the country have
begun to implement these futile-care policies that state, in effect:
We reserve the right to refuse service.

Medical and bioethics journals for several years kept up a drumbeat
advocating the implementation of medical futility policies that
hospitals -- for obvious reasons -- don't publicize. The mainstream news
media have generally ignored the threat.

As a consequence, members of the public and their elected
representatives remain in the dark as futilitarians become empowered
to hand down unilateral death sentences.

Indeed, futile-care policies are implemented so quietly that no one
knows their extent. No one has made a systematic study of how many
patients' lives have been lost or whether futile-care decisions were
reached according to hospital policies or the law.

The idea behind futile care goes like this: The patient wants
life-sustaining treatment; the physician does not believe the quality of
the patient's life justifies the costs to the health institution or the
physical and emotional burdens of care; therefore, the doctor is
entitled to refuse further treatment (other than comfort care) as
futile or inappropriate.

Treatments withheld under this policy might include antibiotics to treat
infection, medicines for fever reduction, tube feeding and hydration,
kidney dialysis or ventilator support.

Of course, physicians have never been -- nor should they be -- required
to provide medical interventions that provide no medical benefit.

For example, if a patient demands chemotherapy to treat an ulcer, the
physician should refuse. Such a treatment would have no medical
benefit.

But this kind of physiological futility, as it is sometimes called, is
not what modern futile-care theory is all about. Treatments are not
refused because they don't provide any medical benefit, as in the case
of chemotherapy to treat an ulcer. Rather, they are refused because
they actually sustain life -- such as a feeding tube does for a
persistently unconscious patient.

It isn't the treatment that is deemed futile but, in effect, the
patient.

Early attempts to impose futile care upon unwilling patients and
families were often ad hoc. For example, a few years ago I received an
urgent phone call from a distraught woman who told me that her
92-year-old mother's doctor was refusing to give the woman antibiotics
for an infection.

When I asked why, she said, He told me my mother was going to die of an
infection sooner or later, so it might as well be this one.

I advised the woman to get an attorney and threaten suit. That
apparently did the trick. She later called to tell me her mother was
being treated and was well on the way to recovery.

In 1994, the parents of a premature infant sued to prevent the
imposition of futile care upon their son, Baby Ryan Nguyen, after
doctors told them they were ending his kidney dialysis.

Ryan would have died, but the Nguyens' attorney obtained a temporary
court order forcing doctors to provide continued life-sustaining care
pending a full trial.

The doctors and hospital did not take the

[CTRL] Futile Care Theory

2001-10-28 Thread Xxx Yyy
This post is based on recent personal experience along the warning given in the President's Report from a recent issue of the Illinois Right to Life Committee newsletter.

While most people are still focused on an "Advance Directive" in medical care which they have been convinced will only activate when someone is in great pain at the end of their life, changes in medical care are taking place which are of great importance.  This information should be studied in conjunction with information about the Nazi's Euthanasia program and reading of the book by Hoche and Binding from the '20s entitled "Release of a Life Devoid of Value."  Keep in mind that you or your family member are dependent on what members of a health care system are willing to do and one can be quickly moved from the status of one being helped to recovery to being considered a patient where help would be considered futile care once in a hospital or a nursing home.  Right now under at least one major  HMO plan the primary care doctor you trusted all along is replaced by a strange doctor once you are moved to a hospital or nursing home.

The following is the President's Report from a recent issue of the Illinois Right To Life Newsletter.  A copy of the article is available from IRLC at 312-322-9300.

"Update on Euthanasia - Futile Care Theory
It is becoming increasingly clear that the medical profession, hospitals and legislators are the "front men" for the euthanasia movement.  The discussion is moving away from assisted suicide and death with dignity to a new language of bioethics called the futile care theory.

"Wesley J. Smith, author of Culture of Death: The Assault on Medical Ethics in America, in an article in the July 23, 2001 issue of The Weekly Standard defines the terms: "Futile care theory holds that when a doctor believes the quality of a patient's life is too low to justify life-sustaining treatment, the doctor is entitled to refuse care as "inappropriate"--even if the treatment is wanted." Said Smith, "It is the equivalent of a hospital putting a sign over its entrance statiang :"We have the right to refuse service."

"The proponents of this theory are not quacks or even the typical members of the Euthanasia Society but rather doctors and philosophers who are part of the establishment.  Peter Singer of Princeton University, known for recommending that parents be allowed to determine if their baby is healthy and if not, to kill it, is a leader of this movement.  Though considered radical, his views are not rejected by the academic community.  In fact what has been rejected is the core value of Western civilization: All human beings possess equal moral worth.

"Proponents of the futile care theory often consider tube feeding as "futile" and "inappropriate."  The purpose of artificial nuitrition is to keep the body functioning.  Says Smith, "futilitarians reject tube feeding not because it doesn't work, but because it does.  It is not the treatment that is futile, but the patient."  (My personal comment - please note that tube feeding is not limited to people who are lying immobile in a coma as might be thought.  Inserting a feeding tube is a minor operation which can be done at bedside under anesthesia where a person cannot take nourishment through the throat for one reason or another.)

"If the patients or families theaten to sue, the hospitals are working to insure that the courts acquiesce to the futile care theory by establishing protocols that determine when treatment can be refused and by placing language in state and federal legislation that would give government approval to the theory.  How widespread this has become is difficult to determine but medical journals have reported that several hospitals in Houston, Mercy Health Systems (Philadelphia Catholic Hospitals) and 24 out of 26 California hospitals have established such policies.  One of the purposes of these policies is to thwart patient' ability to obtain a court order to continue treatment.

"Federal and state legislation is now being introduced that would explicitly empower doctors to deny life sustaining treatment.  Senator Arlen Spector, a supporter of partial birth abortion and embryonic stem cell research, has introduced the Health Care Assurance Act, which purposts to expand health care for children and the disabled.  Buried in the bill is a section which denies that treatment must be offered or that an individual may demand treatment that is "futile or not medically indicated."

"New York has two bills pending that would implement the futile care theory.  Some of the legislation applies to surrogate health care decision makers and allows a hospital ethics committee to approve or disapprove of treatment.   Further, no member of the ethics committee would be allowed to testify as to the proceedings of the committee, empowering ethics committees to act in a atmosphere of

Hi, worth the read.  I can't find anything in here to disagree with.  Most of us will be in domestic situations so his advice to 'go up wind immediately for chemical or biological attack' is good. With regard to going up wind; if for any reason you think or feel or, by your situational awareness, you suspect a second attack in the 'up wind position'  then pick a less obvious 'up wind position'. Then find another and go there as unobtrusively as possible,  and then another and go there.  Some of you high value targets know the drill.  I agree with the author below. Spread the word and help stem a possible panic if we get another taste of evil.

Words of Wisdom From An Armor Master

Since the media has decided to scare everyone with predictions of chemical, biological, or nuclear warfare on our turf I decided to write a paper and keep things in their proper perspective.  I am a retired military weapons, munitions, and training expert.

Lesson number one: In the mid 1990s there were a series of nerve gas attacks on crowded Japanese subway stations. Given perfect conditions for an attack, less than 10% of the people there were injured (the injured were better in a few hours) and only one percent of the injured died.

"60 Minutes" once had a fellow telling us that one drop of nerve gas could kill a thousand people; well, he didn't tell you the thousand dead people per drop was theoretical.  Drill Sergeants exaggerate how terrible this stuff was to keep the recruits awake in class (I know this because I was a Drill Sergeant, too).

Forget everything you've ever seen on TV, in the movies, or read in a novel about this stuff, it was all a lie (read this sentence again out loud!).

These weapons are about terror; if you remain calm, you will probably not die.  This is far less scary than the media and their "Experts" make it sound.

Chemical weapons are categorized as Nerve, Blood, Blister, and Incapacitating agents.  Contrary to the hype of reporters and politicians they are NOT weapons of mass destruction; they are "Area denial," and terror weapons that don't destroy anything.  When you leave the area you almost always leave the risk.

That's the difference; you can leave the area and the risk; soldiers may have to stay put and sit through it and that's why they need all that spiffy
gear. These are not gasses, they are vapors and/or airborne particles. The agent must be delivered in sufficient quantity to injure, and that defines when/how it's used.

Every day we have a morning and evening inversion where "stuff," suspended in the air gets pushed down. This inversion is why allergies (pollen) and air pollution are worst at these times of the day. So, a chemical attack will have its best effect an hour of so either side of sunrise/sunset.  Also, being vapors and airborne particles, they are heavier than air, so they will seek low places like ditches, basements and underground garages.  This stuff won't work when it's freezing, it doesn't last when it's hot, and wind spreads it too thin, too fast.  They've got to get this stuff on you, or, get you to inhale itfor it to work.  They also have to get the concentration of chemicals high enough to kill or wound you. Too little and it's nothing, too much and it's wasted.

What I hope you've gathered by this point is that a chemical weapons attack that kills a lot of people is incredibly hard to do with military grade agents and equipment, so you can imagine how hard it will be for terrorists.

The more you know about this stuff the more you realize how hard it is to use.

We'll start by talking about nerve agents.  You have these in your house, plain old bug killer (like Raid) is a nerve agent. All nerveagents work the same way; they are cholinesterase inhibitors that mess up the signals your nervous system uses to make your body function.  It can harm you if you get it on your skin but it works best if they can get you to inhale it.  If you don't die in the first minute and you can leave the area, you're probably gonna live.

The military's antidote for all nerve agents is atropine and pralidoxime chloride. Neither one of these does anything to cure the nerve agent; they send your body into overdrive to keep you alive for five minutes; after that the agent is used up.  Your best protection is fresh air and staying calm.  Listed below are the symptoms for nerve agent poisoning. Sudden headache, Dimness of vision (someone you're looking at will have pinpointed pupils),

2001-09-23 Thread Xxx Yyy
First of all a thank you those who post articles to this site. These articles help all of us make sense of the world around us. Trying to synthesize information from the generally accepted news sources, information from alternative news sources which may be accurate and alternative news sources which are disinformation is very much like high wire walking on a mental level, but getting to the other side and finding a new perspective on situations is well worth the effort.

Two questions:
Has anyone come across interviews dealing with September 11th with Yossef Bodansky who wrote a book on Bin Laden called The Man Who Declared War On America. The book was recommended but I haven't been able to obtain a copy.

Second,
I don't think this fits into conspiracy theory, but I downloaded the free trial of ZoneAlarm and started following up thru Who Is on the addresses given of those who try to gain entry. The program has been stopping about sixty addresses a day. A day or two ago I decided to follow up on some of the addresses given and was surprised to see that most come from all over the globe...London, Australia,China, Chile, Brazil and some do come from the US. Is there an article I can find on what is occurring? An article that would also tell me why AOL would be trying to access my computer 14 times in such a secretive way in the past 4-1/2 hours? I did contact AOL but was just shifted from person to person. There probably is a very benign explanation for all of this, but I don't know where to look.

Electro-Magnetic Pulse (EMP), and other information weapons.

HERF Guns

A HERF Gun is a device that directs high power radio energy at an
electronic target. Electronic circuits are vulnerable to overload; a
HERF Gun simply overloads particular circuits to disable specific
pieces of equipment that are dependent on that circuit. A HERF Gun
can be designed to cause varying degrees of damage from simply
shutting a system down to physically destroying equipment. Pointed at
a computer, a HERF Gun may either permanently or temporarily
terminate its operations; a HERF Gun pointed at a 'fly-by-wire'
aircraft may trigger a catastrophic failure.

Although currently limited in range and destructive capacity, in the
near future HERF Guns are likely to be substantially more capable and
freely available and therefore must be taken seriously. HERF Guns
represent an excellent addition to the offensive military inventory
of a nation, and also a significant threat if possessed by an enemy.
The defensive measures that can be employed to reduce the risks of
HERF attacks are not well developed at this stage, but include using
Gaussian shielding, gaseous discharge devices and the maintenance of
physical separation.

Electro-Magnetic Pulse

Electro-Magnetic Pulse (EMP) has been described as 'the next great
weapon to evolve in modern warfare'.20 Initially discovered as a side
effect of nuclear tests, the phenomenon has now been extended to
non-nuclear generators. Such generators can create an EMP which will
disable unshielded electronic systems. A development beam generator
with a one gigawatt capacity could be used to develop a line of sight
EMP which would knock-out most unshielded electronic devices within a
radius measurable in tens to hundreds of metres, depending on the
employment method. High power microwaves, communications, computers,
navigation and data processing systems would be most affected by such
weapons. The current limitations of these weapons are power
generation and capacitor storage capability,21 but these can be
expected to be overcome in the future.

Reports indicate that research is well advanced with EMP warheads
recently being fitted on USAF air launched cruise missiles.22 EMP
weapons are less discriminatory than HERF guns and could be used to
shut down a general area rather than a specific system. Again, with
the exception of screening techniques such as Gaussian shielding,
defensive measures are not common.

Other Information Weapons 23

There are several weapons which are currently being developed which
do not fit in the HERF or EMP categories. Some already are in service
with various military forces, others remain on the drawing board. The
following weapons are described in a variety of freely available
publications and give an indication of the technologies being
developed and the possible capabilities which may result.

Low Energy Lasers. These lasers can be used to damage the optical
systems of sensors (including data collection devices), thus
attacking the information systems at the data collection level. Low
energy lasers have already been fitted on rifles and armoured
vehicles and were deployed during the Gulf War. A number of systems
are reported to be under further development in the US and UK.24

Electrical Power Disruption Technologies. An electric power
disruption munition was first used during the Gulf War in 1991. The
technology originated after an accident on the US West Coast when
chaff cut power supplies to the city of San Diego in 1985. The weapon
uses light, conductive, carbon fibres which wrap around transmission
lines and distribution points to cause a massive short circuit. Even
when power is restored the fibres must be removed because any breeze
can result in another short circuit.25 This weapon can be delivered
by cruise missiles, as was the case in the Gulf War, or from
manned aircraft.

  The Times (www.thetimes.co.uk) Clearing 2001Â

EDITOR MONDAY SEPTEMBER 17 2001
When the choice is national suicide
WILLIAM REES-MOGG
In the interpretation of state speeches there is a rule of the significance
of the penultimate. The opening and closing passages of a speech are the
place for broad assertions; the middle is the place for the narrative, for
the main argument. Just before the end is the place to slip in a disturbing
concept, a warning that one does not wish to be overemphasised.
There was exactly such a penultimate passage in the Prime Minister’s speech
last Friday to the House of Commons. “We know that these groups are fanatics,
capable of killing without discrimination. Limits on the numbers they kill
and their methods of killing are not governed by morality. The limits are
only practical or technical. We know that they would, if they could, go
further and use chemical or biological or even nuclear weapons of mass
destruction. We know also that there are groups or people, occasionally
states, who trade the technology and capability for such weapons. It is time
this trade was opposed, disrupted and stamped out. We have been warned by the
events of September 11. We should act on the warning.”
Dr Henry Kissinger, who was the most powerful US Secretary of State of the
past 40 years, is still used as a well-briefed expositor of US foreign policy
in times of crisis. In his current article for the Los Angeles Times
Syndicate, there is a similar near penultimate paragraph. “Even the smallest
nuclear weapon would produce devastation far dwarfing the catastrophe of the
attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon.” If Tony Blair and Henry
Kissinger both emphasise the threat of nuclear terrorism, they probably have
good reason.
Many recent intelligence studies of the threats to American security have
referred to the possible possession of nuclear weapons by terrorist groups,
and particularly Osama bin Laden’s network. An anonymous paper, prepared
earlier in the year, which is circulating in the City of London, alleges that
“bin Laden’s possession of weapons of mass destruction is generally
considered (in intelligence circles) to be a given . . . bin Laden’s original
plan was to build his own tactical nuke. His emissaries have conducted
several missions to Europe in an attempt to bring back enriched uranium . . .
Reports emerging from Israel and Russia suggest that bin Laden gave his
contacts in the Chechen Mafia several million dollars in cash, and heroin
with a street value of more than $500 million — in exchange, the Chechens
launched an all-out campaign to obtain (ex-Soviet) nuclear suitcase bombs for
al-Qaeda (bin Laden’s core group).
“One source even suggests that bin Laden obtained several of these nuclear
suitcase bombs in the autumn of 1998 and transferred them into storage in the
Taleban’s main secure complex near Kandahar. The same source also claims that
the weapons have not yet been used because they are still programmed with a
Soviet era coding system that requires a signal from Moscow before detonation
is possible. Another source confirms this information and even specifies that
the number of tactical nuclear weapons acquired by bin Laden is close to 20.”
This is an account of raw intelligence data, which may or may not be
reliable. The terrorists themselves have reason to lie about their possession
of nuclear weapons. If they do not have them, they can still use the belief
that they do as a threat. If they really do have them, they may not want to
draw attention to the fact. However, both the Blair and Kissinger statements,
and public evidence given to Congress earlier this year by George Tenet,
Director of the CIA, show how seriously the intelligence community takes this
possibility. Bin Laden may indeed have nuclear weapons, which could still be
in Afghanistan, but could already be hidden near their targets.
US response on the day of the attacks supports this view of the threat. If a
similar attack had occurred in the late 1940s, when Truman was President,
there is no doubt the President’s instinct would have been to return to the
White House at once. That was, indeed, what many Americans expected President
Bush to do. The fact that he was first flown to a nuclear command bunker in
Nebraska may suggest that his security advisers thought that the New York and
Washington attacks might be a trap, with a tactical nuclear strike on the
White House as the possible

Re: [CTRL] Fwd: NEA drops homosexuality resolution

2001-07-23 Thread Xxx Yyy
Two points regarding the NEA dropping the homosexuality resolution.

Stereotypes of the physical characteristics of homosexuals only damage the
argument. Homosexuals come in all shapes, sizes and levels of
attractiveness. Unfortunately because of the aggresiveness of the homosexual
community leadership we have gone way past the point where we can civilly
discuss our different points of view on this topic in public.

The second point is that if the NEA was so concerned about protecting the
feelings of children who are different, they could do this informally rather
than developing programs which force a particular point of view on their
captive audiences. Cruelty toward others should be the issue and not
homosexuality.

Their enforcement of Terms of Service (TOS) rules is arbitrary with
absolutely no appeal process. If you are TOSed, you can never get an AOL

definitely are partial to liberal, non-informed posters on their boards who
can break every rule while attacking others. If a conservative gets even a
little out of line, out comes the ax.

And, yes AOL people can mess around with one's computer, completely ignoring

They also do block sites and one has to go around through google for instance
to get to some of the more interesting boards.

As it gets bigger and bigger, the name Big Brother will fit it well.

Re: [CTRL] If you believe embryos are humans...

2001-06-24 Thread Xxx Yyy

-Caveat Lector-

Gee, when will you get to the part that says they aren't human because they
don't have blond hair and blue eyes and speak German? Or maybe they aren't
human if they aren't productive? Or maybe they aren't human if the skin
color and religions are wrong? Oh no, of course you wouldn't. That isn't
politically correct...yet.

You say: He doesn't have lungs. He doesn't have other human organs. He
doesn't have a brain. He doesn't have vocal chords.

A family member is in the hospital, having trouble with his lungs and I am
having problems with doctors who have no respect for his life. The mute may
have less than perfect vocal cords. Are they less than human? Your brain
seems to have some shorts in its logical functioning? Want to tell us how it
feels to be less than a complete human?

J2,
Your arrogance matches that of those in the SS and your ignorance matches
that of any who will not learn from studying history. Do read a few books
dealing with the history of the early eugenics movement, note how these
positions coincided with the Darwinian view of cultures, read the book Modern
Fascism by Gene Veith and then understand that not everyone is taken in by
the slicksters of the population control movement with their definitions of
who is human.

My son says you won't get the above comment because you are probably a 14
year old with too much time on his hands. If this is the case, I apologize
and understand you need time to grow up.

Re: [CTRL] Bush, Abortion and Racial Eugenics: The Real Story

2001-06-24 Thread Xxx Yyy

-Caveat Lector-

Thanks for an excellent post Kris, although it will take some time to work
thru the links. I, too, am very leery about Bush, particularly after reading
Inside the League. People like J2 won't let facts get in the way of cliches
however when it comes to population control.

Found the following in a story on the Free Tibet campaign that was written up
in a recent issue of the magazine Subject, a glossy, trendy magazine out of
England.

What about the Chinese population control policy--is that active in Tibet as
well?
AY: Yes, they do enforce the one child rule on Tibetans, much more forcibly
than they do on the Chinese. But the thing is that the Tibetans are not over
populating their land. The land is very expansive so having a one-child
limitation on the Tibetans is actually contributing to the genocidal aspects
of what's happening there. There's a truck that's been going around in Tibet
for years, performing forced abortions and forced sterilizations on women
there on a regular basis. They are basically sterilizing whole towns and
villages. The one child policy is actually very destructive, whereas in
China thre may be some logic in it with overpopulation. Basically it's the
same rule but it's being extended in a very destructive way in Tibet.

LR: I heard a story that in Tibet there was someone who did interviews with
women there. There's one story I remember particularly. A medical truck
pulled into this village and told all the women in this town that they had to
report to this truck. One woman was about eight months along in her
pregnancy. They gave something to induce labour and when the baby was born
they gave it an inection in the head and killed it right in front of the
mother. That's very typical of the stories you hear.

Ok in China--not OK in Tibet. OK in the US--not OK in Germany. How strange
that people think they can control the consequences of an idea.

J2: You mean I have to study history, but you don't have to know shit about
 biology? That seems unfair.

I does seem to bother you that I studied biology before it was taught by
Humpty Dumpty teachers to people like you. As Humpty would say based on the
following: A fetus isn't a developing human and an embryo isn't a
developing human even if the dictionary says that is what the words mean
because I say so.

“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, “it
means just what I choose it to mean - neither more nor less.”

“The question is,” said Alice, “whether you can make words mean so many
different things.”

“The question is,” said Humpty Dumpty, “which is to be master - that’s all.”

  Do read a few books

J2: I am against the population control movement.

Does that term also mean what you want it to mean?

If this is the case, I apologize
and understand you need time to grow up.

Thank you. I accept your apology.

I'm glad you have now acknowledged your intellectual age.
