Bug#631431: chromium: I get missing plugin when opening PDF (mozplugger is there!)

2012-06-11 Thread Antony Gelberg
This:

define(ACROREAD, [repeat swallow(acroread) fill needs_xembed :
acroread -openInNewWindow /a $fragment $file])

works for me in mozpluggerrc. There's no doubt that the default
config without needs_xembed is broken.

If it didn't work for the OP, perhaps he needed to killall chromium
and restart the browser? That's what I had to do after making the
change.

Bug#667731: me-tv hangs after ui presented

2012-06-07 Thread Antony Gelberg
Hi,

I saw this as well. Upon running me-tv with -v, I could see that the
behaviour occurred during the time that the EPG data was updating (a
lot on first run, of course).

At the time when it output EPG update complete, the UI started to
respond and function appropriately. I have no time to look at code,
but perhaps the EPG update needs to run in its own thread?

PS Best to Russel who won't remember me from KCL, what a remarkably

If it should be removed from Debian, what's a good and supported alternative?

I uninstalled the package as it was so annoying, but really I feel
that the default should be No, at least until other underlying bugs
are fixed.

Bug#644595: eclipse: Eclipse 3.7 fails to (locally) install plugins

2011-10-07 Thread Antony Gelberg
Package: eclipse
Version: 3.7~exp-5
Followup-For: Bug #644595

I see this as well with the package from experimental. I only installed it as
I couldn't build the version in unstable (3.5.2) successfully on my system.
At this point I don't see how I can run eclipse.

I'm happy to assist in any way possible, if somebody tells me how to debug this
further.

Note: I have the solution - skip to the bottom if you're short on time. ;)

I get a log like this:

labrie:~# dpkg -i libjasper-java_5.5.26-5_all.deb
dpkg: warning: downgrading libjasper-java from 5.5.33-1 to 5.5.26-5.

At this point eclipse started and I could install the Android ADT Plugin so I'm
pretty chuffed. It looks like bumping the apache.jasper symlink in
eclipse-platform should do the trick, but I'm quite naive on this stuff so I'll
leave the maintainer to decide waht the best way forward is. :)

Bug#644512: sound-juicer: Completely broken track lookup

2011-10-06 Thread Antony Gelberg
Package: sound-juicer
Version: 2.32.0-1
Severity: important

Sound Juicer has been reliable for ages, but suddenly on my Wheezy system, it's
behaving weirdly. It happened the other day when trying to rip my Jeff Wayne's
Musical Version of The War of the Worlds *blush* but now it's happened again
with a different CD. I'll explain.

The CD in question is Steven Wilson's new double album, Grace For Drowning.
It's two CDs, CD 1 contains 7 tracks, CD 2 contains 5. When I insert CD 1 to
rip, I get http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/4396/screenshotsoundjuicerj.png
which is obviously a lot more than 7 tracks.

I did some digging on the MusicBrainz site. This album was released in several
formats as per
http://musicbrainz.org/release-group/3bc197f9-8f06-44eb-af4a-aecf2e313cb2. For
some reason, Sound Juicer is picking the track list for 3xCD + 2xBluRay
rather than 2xCD.

I have just tried to rip CD 2 with 5 tracks and it has again picked up the same
listing.

It was the same with War of the Worlds, but I don't have the links to hand.

I hope this can be fixed easily as it is a terrible UX. Let me know if you
need any more data.

PS I have just looked at
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=631610 and
http://musicbrainz.org/doc/libmusicbrainz which might shed some light on the
subject. I believe that the upstream libmusicbrainz 4.0 is *not* the same as
Debian package libmusicbrainz4c2a (source:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sound-juicer/+bug/455461). I
believe that packaging libmusicbrainz4 for Debian, and porting sound-juicer
to use it, might be a good idea.

Bug#631610: no longer compatible with web service API

2011-10-06 Thread Antony Gelberg
Why not just package libmusicbrainz4 and port sound-juicer to work
with it? I'd work on this if I could be sure that nobody else is
doing so. It's a bit murky as to how to get involved with any GNOME
project (no flame intended). I have also downloaded the SJ source
code and it's not commented, sadly.

Still, if this is a good way forward, could somebody let me know?

This module borrows a trick from Apache::Registry to load up your tests at
once, create a separate package for each test and wraps each package in a
method named run_the_tests. This allows us to load perl only once and related
modules only once. If you have modules which are expensive to load, this can
dramatically speed up a test suite.

After some help from the cups mailing list

it is clear what the problem is.

Please could this be documented somewhere for upgraders? I imagine it
might hit a lot of users with network printers that don't support SNMP.
Apologies if it was documented and I missed it.

Bug#590579: rt3.8-apache2: Default config fails for rt-mailgate with virtual host

2010-07-27 Thread Antony Gelberg
Package: rt3.8-apache2
Version: 3.8.8-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

I was getting 403 forbidden from rt-mailgate with the default configuration.
I eventually traced it down to the following stanza in
/etc/request-tracker3.8/apache2-fastcgi.conf:
# Limit mail gateway access to localhost by default
Location /rt/REST/1.0/NoAuth
Order Allow,Deny
Allow from 127.0.0.1
/Location

This fails for cases where the request is not from localhost e.g. with a VM
config. The solution is to change 127.0.0.1 to the hostname of the machine.
I think this should be documented somewhere as it's not an obvious solution.

More discussion at http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/rt/users/85179.

NB This would look to affect all files matching
/etc/request-tracker3.8/apache2-*.conf, not just fastcgi.

Bug#590281: cups: 4 second delay after upgrade to squeeze

2010-07-25 Thread Antony Gelberg

Package: cups
Version: 1.4.4-1
Severity: important

Hi,

After lenny-squeeze, our printers are exhibiting a 4 second delay upon
printing. They are Ethernet EPOS receipt printers, and we use the socket
backend. Configuration looks like:

Printer Gamma
Info Gamma
MakeModel Generic text-only printer
DeviceURI socket://192.168.21.22:9100
State Idle
StateTime 1269438833
Type 4100
Filter application/vnd.cups-raw 0 -
Filter text/plain 0 textonly
Accepting Yes
Shared Yes
JobSheets none none
QuotaPeriod 0
PageLimit 0
KLimit 0
OpPolicy default
ErrorPolicy stop-printer
/Printer

With a simple command like lpr -P Gamma /etc/passwd, there is a four-second
delay before the printout commences. This did not happen in lenny,
where they

worked flawlessly.

I've attached an error log - the timestamps actually show the delay,
which is

probably useful, as it shows it's a CUPS-related problem.

Please advise - we can give more debug info if you tell us what to give. :)

I disagree. It's common that Unix tools can handle filename globbing.
e.g. Are you suggesting that one should use xargs with ls to list all
the files matching a certain pattern?

I would have looked to see where it was an upstream design decision

represent a single relation. A Repeatable field will map onto a multiple

Package: pm-utils
Version: 1.3.0-1
Severity: important

On occasion (enough to be extremely annoying, maybe 30% of the time), my
workstation resumes from hibernate successfully up to the point where my X
display should reappear. However, the screen is blank (but the backlight is
on). I can login via another X session and note that all the processes on the
first session are running normally, CPU is not maxed out etc. In addition, I
know that the processes are running because if I switch back to the faulty
screen, I can type my password into the screensaver and I see the hard drive
light activity as the screen is unlocked. I can press Alt-F2 and see more
activity as Gnome loads the run program dialog.

I don't know how to debug this but I'm all ears. It might be worth pointing
out that during the day, I use grandr to switch LVDS off and run the machine
via the VGA output, but I always do the reverse before telling the machine to
hibernate.

Interestingly, all text consoles (Ctrl-Alt-F1 et al) come up blank as well.

Owner: Antony Gelberg antony.gelb...@wayforth.com

  Package name: libhtml-formhandler-perl
  Version : 0.31002
Upstream Author : Gerda Shank gsh...@cpan.org et al
  URL : http://search.cpan.org/perldoc?HTML::FormHandler
License : GPL / Artistic (as for Perl)
  Programming Lang: Perl
Description : Form handler written in Moose

HTML::FormHandler maintains a clean separation between form construction and
form rendering. It allows you to define your forms and fields in a number of
flexible ways. Although it provides renderers for HTML, you can define custom
renderers for any kind of presentation.

Bug#576188: [pkg-cli-apps-team] Bug#576188: Bug#576188: banshee: Outputs loads of junk to STDOUT

2010-04-27 Thread Antony Gelberg
Chow Loong Jin wrote:

Then tell me, exactly what do you hope to achieve by opening Banshee in a
terminal instead of using a graphical approach, e.g. the menu?

Is this a serious question? I will assume it is and give a straight answer.

The answer is: I am hoping to run the application.

FYI, all Glib applications spit information -- warnings, errors, other
information out into the terminal regardless of any debug flag. I do not see
 this as a problem.

If you don't see it as a problem, it's probably because you are only
ever clicking on icons to open applications, STDOUT is redirected to
.xsession-errors or a bitbucket or $somewhere_else, and you assume that
everybody does that. However for some users it clearly is a problem.

If it wants to write to STDERR to report something exceptional then
that's different, but as I said originally, routinely clobbering STDOUT
with junk is unacceptable.

Banshee does the same, just on a slightly larger scale. And the --debug flag
exists to spit out even more information than is already spat out to the
 terminal.

Great. But I'm looking for less, not more.

Antony

I don't see what the problem is. A graphical application is usually not
 started
from the terminal, unless you are looking for debugging information. Are you
really hoping to interact with Banshee from the console? If you are, then
 sorry,
but I don't believe it is planned to give Banshee a command line interface any

I think your assumption that A graphical application is usually not
started from the terminal, unless you are looking for debugging
information. is utterly flawed. These messages should be printed only
when some debug flag is switched on.

I am not hoping to interact with Banshee from the command line, and I
never said I was.

Bug#556934: libcurses-ui-perl: flushkeys() called at inappropriate time

2009-11-18 Thread Antony Gelberg
Package: libcurses-ui-perl
Version: 0.9605-1.6
Severity: important
Tags: patch

In a similar vein to #556846, there is an extraneous function call that breaks
input when keys are buffered. The call to flushkeys() from feedkey() simply
throws keys away for no discernable reason.

Again, I'm raising this bug as I'd like to implement the patch in Debian, but
would welcome input from other members of the Debian Perl team. I will raise
the issue upstream as well.

Bug#556846: libcurses-ui-perl: Solaris-specific hack breaks expected behaviour (at least on Linux)

2009-11-17 Thread Antony Gelberg
Package: libcurses-ui-perl
Version: 0.9605-1.5
Severity: important
Tags: patch

I have a reasonably large application that uses Curses::UI and
Curses::UI::POE. When keyboard input is buffered because the app is blocking,
things get out of sync when the app returns - keys get lost and the app is
thereafter one key behind.

The problem was eventually narrowed down to the following part of
/usr/share/perl5/Curses/UI.pm

# See if there are pending keys on input. If I do not
# feed them to the application in this way, the screen
# hangs in case I do a lot of input on my Solaris
# machine.
$key = $self-get_key(0);
$self-feedkey($key) unless $key eq '-1';

This is something of a hack. On my Linux machine, commenting out the above
causes correct behaviour, whereby keypresses are buffered and dealt with when
the app returns from its blocking behaviour.

I'm raising this bug as I'd like to implement the patch in Debian, but would
welcome input from other members of the Debian Perl team. I will raise the
issue upstream as well.

Bug#534301: ratpoison: Third-party comprehensive default config could be included

2009-06-23 Thread Antony Gelberg
Package: ratpoison
Version: 1.4.3-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I just moved to ratpoison from stumpwm as the latter crashes too much. Just
when I was banging my head against the wall wondering how I was going to get a
good default config going, I found Daniel Webb's example config at
http://danielwebb.us/software/ratpoison/ (look for the .tar.gz).

Perhaps this could be included in the examples directory and referred to in
README.Debian, to give us ratpoison newbies a substantial advantage? It shows
what can be done in a way that one can't imagine on first skim of the
ratpoison docs.

Bug#521288: drupal6: Warns about security updates

2009-03-26 Thread Antony Gelberg
Package: drupal6
Severity: minor

Hi,

With the default config, Drupal is telling me that security updates are
required. I think that the vulnerabilities are patched in Debian, and there
isn't going to be a version increment by the nature of Debian releases. So
perhaps this feature could be disabled for Drupal in Debian (perhaps with a
warning upon installation)?

Bug#520685: stumpwm: When returning from screensaver, keyboard doesn't respond

2009-03-21 Thread Antony Gelberg
Package: stumpwm
Version: 1:20080721-2
Severity: normal

Hi,

Sometimes when returning from xscreensaver, my xorg session doesn't respond to
/any/ keypresses, either in the active window, or C-t stumpwm commands. My
workaround is to go to a console window, kill stumpwm, and re-run it. I
/believe/ that this only happens after a lock and password-type - I think when
the screensaver kicks in, all works fine if I press a key to interrupt the
screensaver before it locks and asks for a password (half an hour later or so
on this box).

This doesn't happen with other WMs, so I'm assuming it's a stump bug. When it
occurs, the mouse /does/ still work - I can click links in Iceweasel etc.

I know nothing about Lisp, but if you have any ideas how I can assist
debugging this issue, I'll try to help.

Bug#516124: gnome-keyring: HAL context error repeating

2009-02-19 Thread Antony Gelberg
Package: gnome-keyring
Version: 2.22.3-2
Severity: normal

Hi,

My auth.log is full of entries such as:
gnome-keyring-daemon[27845]: failed to initialize a HAL context: Connection is
closed

I don't know anything about gnome-keyring - all I can say is that it was pulled
in
when I installed gdm. I don't use gnome-session on this machine - I log into
fluxbox from the gdm login screen.

Hope someone can advise - it's not a show-stopper but it is pretty annoying.

Bug#500082: rsnapshot: backup_pgsql.sh doesn't play nicely with Debian postgresql

2008-09-24 Thread Antony Gelberg
Package: rsnapshot
Version: 1.3.0-2
Severity: normal
Tags: patch

Hi,

Debian postgresql uses a privilege model whereby the postgres user is
responsible
for database administration. The backup_pgsql.sh script included with rsnapshot
doesn't work out of the box. I've attached a little patch which I hope you find
useful, if raw.

Bug#498662: libgtk2.0-0: Some fonts too large on 130dpi display

2008-09-11 Thread Antony Gelberg
Package: libgtk2.0-0
Version: 2.12.11-3
Severity: normal

Hi,

This problem manifests itself on a laptop display, 1680x1050, 15 widescreen.
Here are the specs from xdpyinfo:
screen #0:
  dimensions:1680x1050 pixels (331x207 millimeters)
  resolution:129x129 dots per inch

I have a fresh lenny install, and no .gtkrc files in my home directory. Some
fonts are massive by default, which looks a bit silly, as well as being
inconvenient. However, it's only certain GTK fonts that are affected. For
example, everything in rhythmbox is affected. In iceweasel, the menu bar and
tab bar are affected, but the actual web page is fine (different renderer?).

I assume this is something to do with libgtk trying to compensate for the
130dpi by making the font larger. Leaving aside the principle of whether this
is desirable behaviour (I chose a high resolution display to get more on
the screen, not have fonts automagically change size), I think it's
over-compensating. But really it shouldn't compensate at all, in my opinion.
I have a 100dpi 1680x1050 display on another machine, running the same
software, and it's fine.

Of course, this may not be a libgtk bug, but I assume it is, as default fonts
in non-gtk apps are fine (nice and small on this screen). I have taken a
couple of screenshots to illustrate[1]. Please let me know if I can provide any
more useful information about my setup in order to debug this.

Bug#285653: defoma should migrate to an alternative to libft-perl

2008-09-10 Thread Antony Gelberg

martin f krafft wrote:

This bug has been ignored for 3 years and 166 days. libft-perl is
unmaintained and doesn't work with Perl 5.10. Also see

Hence I'm about to request libft-perl's removal from Debian, and I shall
change this bug's title to something like defoma formerly depended on
libft-perl - please migrate to modern Perl FreeType library.

Please do!

I never did, as I didn't have the time to look into the implications.
However, the package has been removed, see
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=279824.

As to defoma's future, who knows, but I suppose it's best to keep this
bug open for now, as the title is still relevant.

Bug#498200: cpufreqd: Doesn't purge without being stopped first

2008-09-07 Thread Antony Gelberg
Package: cpufreqd
Severity: normal

Hi,

This is easy to replicate.

1. aptitude install cpufreqd
2. aptitude (remove|purge) cpufreqd

Be greeted by:

   dpkg: error processing cpufreqd (--purge):
subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 143

I don't know if it works with apt-get, but I suspect not.

Workaround is to /etc/init.d/cpufreqd stop, before removing the package.

This is with 2.3.3-1 in Lenny as of today.

Bug#495760: ssmtp: Logcheck file format incorrect

2008-08-22 Thread Antony Gelberg
Now I have tested my patch and it didn't work. That's because the
[0-9.]+ before closing connection doesn't match hostnames, it only
matches IP addresses. So a better (i.e. working) method is to use alnum:

2008-08-20 Thread Antony Gelberg

Hi,

However, ssmtp on my machines reports closing connection instead of Bye.

I have added the line:

to /etc/logcheck/ignore.d.server/local-ssmtp but of course as maintainer you
may prefer to do something like:
^\w{3} [ :0-9]{11} [._[:alnum:]-]+ sSMTP\[[0-9]+\]: Sent mail for .* \([0-9]+
[0-9.]+ (Bye|closing connection)\) uid=[0-9]+ username=[\._[:alnum:]-]+

Bug#489975: cups: Serial backend not recognised by default

2008-07-08 Thread Antony Gelberg
Package: cups
Version: 1.3.7-7
Severity: normal

I have just tried connecting a serial printer to ttyS0, with default
permissions:
crw-rw 1 root dialout 4, 64 2008-07-09 00:35 /dev/ttyS0

When I tried to add it via the web UI, the serial port wasn't listed in
the Device drop-down. I turned on debug logging, and sure enough:
I [09/Jul/2008:00:51:39 +0100] Started

D [09/Jul/2008:00:51:41 +0100] PID 4656
(/usr/lib/cups/daemon/cups-deviced) exited with no errors.

I noted that cups runs as root, and sure enough, running cups-deviced as
root (with arbitrary parameters) gave the same result:
# /usr/lib/cups/daemon/cups-deviced 1 10 1 all
DEBUG: [cups-deviced] Added device http...

snip

However, the same command as a normal user worked for the serial backend
if not others (snip follows):
DEBUG: [cups-deviced] Added device serial:/dev/ttyS0?baud=115200...

I then tried configuring a suitable printer directly in printers.conf.
When I tried printing to it, I got:
E [09/Jul/2008:01:03:02 +0100] PID 4767 (/usr/lib/cups/backend/serial)
stopped with status 1!
E [09/Jul/2008:01:03:02 +0100] [Job 217] Unable to open device file
/dev/ttyS0: Permission denied

This led me to suspect permissions, and sure enough, changing /dev/ttyS0
to 0666 worked. I didn't really understand this, as root had rw
permissions anyway. I had a glance at scheduler/cups-deviced.c, and
there is certainly some magic there relating to the user that it runs
the backend as. Unfortunately, I don't have time to delve deeper, but
see comments around line 204.

I don't want /dev/ttyS0 to be world readable/writeable, but I don't see
what else to do for now. NB lp is already in my dialout group, that
didn't help.

Anyway, this wasn't documented anywhere that I can see. I'm not sure
what you think is the best way forward, but at the very least, I think
this should be documented in README.Debian[1], with suitable guidance
given as to possible permission settings for the serial port. Better
still, it should just work.

Thanks,

Antony

[1] Another thing - could we please have a README.Debian in
/usr/share/doc/cups that at least points to
/usr/share/doc/libcups2/README.Debian.gz? I had to use apt-file and
grep to find it.

Bug#446405: ardour: Embeds too many libs

2008-05-29 Thread Antony Gelberg
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Hi,

It's a shame this hasn't been looked at yet. I hope ardour makes it
into Lenny.

I have been doing a little research into this, and according to
http://ardour.org/building, there is:
SYSLIBS
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK: CANCELS ALL SUPPORT FROM ARDOUR AUTHORS. Use
existing system versions of various libraries instead of internal ones
(yes|no)

I don't know if this works well yet, as I can't build ardour currently
due to a bug in scons, but it might be worth considering.

Also of course, is it more important to have upstream support or Debian
security support? It appears that it will have to be either one or the
other.

Alternatively, I suppose that the Debian version could use SYSLIBS=yes,
and if bugs are reported, Debian would have to replicate them on a
SYSLIBS=no version before reporting them to upstream.

Various people are working on this - the latest plan is to get a new
release of libsndfile upstream, so that Ardour doesn't need to embed a
 copy.

Okay, I missed the discussion on it - too many mailing lists to keep up
with. libsndfile isn't the only library that is affected of course,
there are several others, is the same activity taking place, to
integrate patches with those?

 We're aiming for both :-)

So, to confirm, if a check could be added for the copyright file, that

Bug#479221: ITP: libautobox-perl -- Allows calling methods on builtin Perl types

2008-05-03 Thread Antony Gelberg
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Antony Gelberg [EMAIL PROTECTED]

* Package name: libautobox-perl
  Version : 2.23
Upstream Author : chocolateboy [EMAIL PROTECTED]
* URL : http://search.cpan.org/dist/autobox/
* License : GPL / Artistic
  Programming Lang: Perl
Description : Allows calling methods on builtin Perl types

The autobox pragma endows Perl's core data types with the capabilities
of first-class objects. This allows methods to be called on ARRAY refs,
HASH refs, CODE refs and raw scalars in exactly the same manner as
blessed references. The autoboxing is transparent: boxed values are not
blessed into their (user-defined) implementation class (unless the
method elects to bestow such a blessing) - they simply use its methods
as though they are.

*sigh* Long day, not the first mistake I've made, thanks Ron. It should

If I want to install the ltsp-utils package additionally to

packages can't be installes together and I can not checkout why?

ltsp-utils is LTSP4. ltsp-server-standalone is LTSP5. The utilities in
the former can break the latter.

Bug#292391: wmaker: this bug is not an OOo bug afaik

reassign 292391 wmaker
thanks

I agree with Ron - I have Gnome on my box as well as wmaker, and it's
only in wmaker that I see the (annoying) broken behaviour. Hence it's
reasonable to assume that this is a wmaker bug - I hope the maintainer
has an opinion on the matter.

Bug#408821: zope-ploneerrorreporting: Description string needs editing

Package: zope-ploneerrorreporting

I don't believe this package is incompatible with Plone 2.0, so perhaps
the 2.0 should be removed from the package description? At the same
time, Plone should be capitalized afaik.

Bug#404701: wmcalc: Buggy math, not suitable for release

Gunnar Wolf wrote:

I am degrading this bug from RC to wishlist - This program _is_
working as it is often expected. Wmcalc mimics a pocket calculator,
where all operators have equal precedence, as its interface lacks (or,
to be more correct, is designed not to provide, in order to save
space) parentheses or other means to properly provide nesting and
proper precedence.

Hi Gunnar,

If even upstream admits it's a bug and should behave differently, how
can you suggest that it's expected behaviour? This may not be RC, but
it's more than wishlist. Upgrading to normal severity.

Wmcalc is designed to be as small as possible. Given its interface, I
would be surprised by it if it applied higher precedence to some
operators than to others.

I expect any such program to act at least as well as the crappiest
pocket calculator, which IME implements proper precedence rules.

Bug#349536: 0.58 now out

2007-01-27 Thread Antony Gelberg
The version in Etch (0.37) hails from January 2005, and you haven't
responded to this bug, from January 2006. Is there any chance of an
upgrade? Latest version is 0.58.

Generally speaking, Plone / Zope products evolve quite quickly, and it's
annoying for users to have to install them manually when there is an
obsolete version sitting in Debian. That is, if we even realise that it
is obsolete - we tend to assume that the Debian package is reasonably up
to date, especially in testing.

I note that you have not been active for a while - I can't find much
recent bug or mailing list activity, and even though I know that's not
the only way to find out if you're active, I respectfully ask that if
you can't maintain your packages, to orphan them and give them to
someone who can, as us users are losing out.

Best,

Antony

Bug#394802: Alternative

2007-01-04 Thread Antony Gelberg
Hi,

This change annoyed me as well. I understand that you are stuck between a
rock and a hard place. I wonder if you would consider releasing the
package with Mod4 instead of previous Mod1.  e.g. Mod4+1 for desktop 1
etc.

Mod4 is the Windows key on my keyboard (what a world), and I have never
used it for anything else. :D I know not everyone uses such a keyboard,
but perhaps it's food for thought.

The attached patch changes the result format specifier to 10.10g, for

was 10.5g originally.

trivial patch to an important bug. IANAD but if someone can roll it
in and NMU to etch, that would be great. Please CC me as I'm not
