Re: [Dev] Changing port values outside carbon.xml with port offset value
Hi, I have tested scenario[1] with two ESB servers with port offsets. Both servers (accepts HTTPS requests via port values 9443 and 9446) listen to port 6071 (refer log message below) when installing features from feature manager. [Dev] Set dynamic endpoints in a BPEL
Hi, Is there a way to set dynamic endpoints in a bpel. Normally what we do is set end points in wsdl file , then create archive and deploy. What I need to do is, send some endpoints as input parameters along with request message, then the bpel will call the service with those endpoints. Same service will be called (TenantMgtAdminService). And one more thing, number of endpoints will also vary. Seeking for help to figure out a way to do this.. Hi Keerthika, I guess api required a certificate to be installed on sender side. Follow the following steps i) Extract the certificate from browser by navigating to apiUrl ii) Navigate to ESB_HOME/repository/resources/security/ using command prompt and execute keytool -importcert -file CERT_FILE_NAME -keystore client-truststore.jks -alias CERT_NAME in command line to import api certificate in to keystore. Give wso2carbon as password. NOTE : CERT_FILE_NAME is the file name which was extracted from api, change it accordingly CERT_NAME is name of the certificate. Re: [Dev] ESB Connector - SSLHandshakeException
Hi, ESB should trust the server you are trying to connect to in order to create a SSH handshake. In order to trust it, the public certificate of the server should be added to ESB. You can use keytool to add the certificate to client-trustore. Please find a guide on [1] which shows how to add a CA to ESB trust store. Hi Sagara, I have fixed the mentioned issues in the previous PRs and resent the following PR to carbon-utils. We can close the previous PRs (#14, #15, #16) without merging them. https://github.com/wso2-dev/carbon-utils/pull/17 Please note that this change requires following changes done to the carbon kernel as well. If we are to remove these dependencies then we have to remove the CassandraLogProvider from the package as well. Since this is a useful class for some of the products however we have to move this class to a different repo, which ensures that this can be used by products as and when needed. Re: [Dev] Set dynamic endpoints in a BPEL
Hi Mahesh, Following documentation[1] has the explanation for setting endpoint references through EPR files by modifying them in registry. However as I understood in your case you are sending those endpoint references through the request and epr count may vary. AFAIK this is not possible since in-order to create the BPEL you need to archive the wsdl as a BPEL content to generate the relevant variables(request, response, role, partnerLink). So if you could identify all the endpoints that are going to be exist then, you can load all the relevant wsdls correspondent to those services and then set the endpoint references through registry resources. Whenever there is change on the EPR you can update them easily in the registry without modifying the BPEL artifact. @Hasitha: please update if I have miss anything. https://docs.wso2.com/display/BPS320/Endpoint+References Thank you Best regards, *Amal Gunatilake* Software Engineer WSO2 Inc.; http://wso2.com lean.enterprise.middleware On Wed, Sep 3, 2014 at 1:10 PM, Mahesh Chinthaka mahe...@wso2.com wrote: Hi, Is there a way to set dynamic endpoints in a bpel. Re: [Dev] Set dynamic endpoints in a BPEL
Hi Amal, Here we know what exactly the wsdl, in our case we use only *TenantMgtAdminService, *but endpoint IP address and Port should be dynamic. We are passing IP address and Port to the BPEL. Ex. We send 3 IP addresses and 3 Ports (which are respectively ESB, AS, BPS Servers) to the BPEL, then BPEL should invoke the *TenantMgtAdminService *in those 3 servers. [Dev] [SS] [IS] Programmatically Creating Service Providers at Server Start Up
Hi, When I was working on $Subject, found that this can't be done due to not having an OSGi service from IS level but only admin service. AFAIK, it's not recommend to call admin service unless server boot up. Use Case: SS has static/system resources (environments, instances and databases), so we need to assign defaults permissions (if not already assigned) for these at server start up. For that we need to first create service provider and then store permissions according to available resources. Approaches tried out: 1. Used application management configuration (repository/conf/identity/service-provider/default.xml). By doing that it's not got persisted into database/registry instead it keeps all the service provider information in a static hash map (in memory). Since changes done to in memory not got persisted it will be lost at server reboot. 2. Called admin service programmatically , this is not recommended since carbon context and other services may not already activated. At this moment solution what we can see is, implementing an OSGi service for application management operations. @Johann, WDYT? [Dev] XACML cache invalidation notification when changes are made to Identities
Hi Asela, I am working on the issue [1]. Can you please elaborate bit on the cache implementation of PIP side in XACML. As far as I noticed, as a solution for the bug part of the issue, invalidating Attribute cache and Decision cache is sufficient when an update occurs to user information (when firing user management listener). Are we using hazelcast for caching in XACML ? If not do we need to send cluster messages on the event of cache invalidation ?. Has this been already implemented in any of the caches in XACML ? What are the usages (differences) of DecisionCache and DecisionInvalidationCache ? Hi When I read your description and code segments [2] what I understood was you are having a problem with referring to a separate js file from a html page. When I read the [1] and exception trace what I understood was when you referred to an external js file you are having some troubles calling the java method. [Dev] LifeCycle TEST automation for WSO2 EAM
Hi All, I was working on [1] and tested it. The way I've done it, is, hit the gateway URL and check the response code is 302. But I realize that was wrong when the gateway url is once hit it will redirect to IS and it will always give me 302. Since the gateway URL is handled by SAML and cookies for the following flow, the test case will be very lengthy. *Create app = publish app = login to store = Subscribe the app = test weather the gateway url is hit* or *= unpublish the app = test weather the app is hit*. My suggestion is to do as follow. 1)* Create app = login store = test the app is visible in the store (App is visible only the app is published)* 2) *= publish app = login to store = test the app can be subscribed.* 3) *Change the state to unpublish (this will cover other states as well) = login to store = test the app is visible in the store* Over all three test cases will be covered as for LifyCycleTest class. Re: [Dev] calling javascript methods in an external js file from gwt JSNI native mthods
Hi Danushka, I don't think Jaggery is an option as we are using this to implement a jQuery, JavaScript and jsplumb based application in GWT. I am having the problem in calling the js page functions from the JSNI native Java methods. The js file is imported from html page. GWT compiles my Java code to JavaScript and calls the js page. But the error to my understanding states that the source js file is unknown in gwt context. thanks and regards Awanthika On Wed, Sep 3, 2014 at 9:01 PM, Danushka Fernando danush...@wso2.com wrote: Hi When I read your description and code segments [2] what I understood was you are having a problem with referring to a separate js file from a html page. The only cleaner approach available for us to achieve this would be to have an OSGi API exposed from the application management component.
