Sal
Sal, are you saying only a President that has battle experience has the moral authority to order troops into battle? We could go a step further, maybe only a congress who's individual members each have battle experience should be able to vote on resolutions authorizing the president to send troops into harms way. It just can't work that way. We elect people with or with out that experience and give them that authority. All screening begins in the primaries.

Neither Lincoln nor FDR had battle experience. But a President who isnt really the president because both elections were stolen for him and who went AWOL during the cushy military service his daddy arranged for him is on pretty shaky ground.

[FairfieldLife] Pranayama

2006-06-12 Thread Rick Archer
Title: Pranayama

From Ken Hassman:

In this monster 3400 page book im indexing, Handbook of Psychophysiology, it says: (ignore the purple tags, those are the embedded locators I'm inserting)

There is little evidence that breathing pattern, so long as it supplies sufficient oxygen, affects cognitive activity. The exception to this statement is a maneuver called 955.150bforced unilateral breathing. This exercise originated in yogic training and several studies have demonstrated that occlusion of the left or right nostril alters cognitive function.f955.150 This is an interesting, varied and surprisingly large literature. Werntz, Bickford and Shannahoff-Khalsa (1987) found that occlusion of the left or right nostril produces increased EEG amplitudes in the contralateral hemisphere. Contrary to most interpretations of increased EEG amplitude, this finding was interpreted as increased cortical activity and was used to account for behavioral differences associated with the activated hemisphere. A different study (Block, Arnott, Quigley, Lynch, 1989), examined this breathing style on verbal test performance and spatial tasks finding effects for both gender, nostril and task. Males in this study performed spatial tasks better when breathing through the right nostril and the opposite response was found for women. A slightly more recent study by Jella and Shannahoff-Khalsa (1993) found that both men and women both showed improved performance during left nostril breathing contradicting the earlier effect in males. While inconsistent, the preponderance of the literature suggests that right nostril breathing is associated with better verbal performance and left nostril breathing is associated with better spatial performance. These findings have been interpreted as being the result of increased activation in the hemisphere contralateral to the nostril with airflow. Recently, this idea has been extended to research on emotional tones in a dichotic listening paradigm

None of that necessitates or confirms his being enlightened.

Like many things, the actual value of enlightenment
comes from experiencing it, not from thinking about
it or talking about it.

I find satsang, in which we talk about enlightenment for several hours, extremely conducive to clearer and deeper experience. I feel that this is due more to the energy field that gets created in the room than to the topics discussed. What seems to happen is that that field tends to draw the attention inward (or expand and clarify the awareness not sure how to put it), while at the same time the intellect is alert and is settling down to subtler and subtler states of functioning. This results in a profound and clear establishment in Being, which tends to be much more stable than that produced by a single meditation even a good one. Many people who have been meditating for decades have woken up after a few, or even one, such gathering.

[FairfieldLife] This week in FF

2006-06-13 Thread Rick Archer
Title: This week in FF

In the Fairfield meditating community these are some of the best weeks to be
in Fairfield, as the lady saints are now upon us. This week Karunamayi is
here. Next month Ammachi will visit again also.

These are great holy people who come to us while they are on their larger US
tours. That makes it mighty easy to be able to sit with Sat Gurus, when
they come to you.

Now Karunamayi is at Roberts Hall in Keosauqua tonight (Tues.) for an
evening of spiritual homily and discourse. Karunamayi is available tomorrow
morning (Weds.) for personal darshan also at Roberts Hall.

A Vedic yagya will be done by Karunamayi (Thursday morning) down at Aurora
Farm.

These are simple and nice opportunities to just sit with a saint and
meditate. It is a very nice feature to living in Fairfield. Come along if
you can.

With Kind Regards,

-Doug Hamilton

( BTW,The new highway has now cut Kale Blvd. Instead, come down Hwy. 1 to
the first gravel cross-road (227th) and travel west over to Kale Blvd. to
get to Aurora Farm. )

So a promise is only valid as long as the other side keeps their side of the bargain?

Tends to work that way. If your spouse violates their wedding vows repeatedly, you take your own vows less seriously and get divorced.

Good News! Archive http://mum.edu/goodnews/welcome.html
Dr. Schneider Publishes Book on Heart Health
Faculty member Robert Schneider achieved another milestone in the Universitys 20-year history of research on cardiovascular disease this month with the publication of his book, Total Heart Health: How to Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease with the Maharishi Vedic Approach to Health.

We congratulate Dr. Schneider on the publication of this landmark book, said Craig Pearson, University executive vice-president. It is the capstone of more than 20 years of research work by Dr. Schneider and his colleagues, in collaboration with universities around the country.

According to Dr. Schneider, the book gives the wholeness of the 40 aspects of Maharishi Vedic Approach to HealthSM using the angle of cardiovascular disease and categorizes these aspects into the areas of mind, body, and environment.

The book explains that everything inside and outside us is based on an inner intelligence of nature. This level of the inner healer has been discovered both by ancient Vedic science and by modern science in physics and physiology. When any part of ones physiology, such as blood pressure, gets disconnected from the network of inner intelligence, which can happen as a result of negative influences from the body, mind, or environment, imbalances and illness such as heart disease can result.

The book begins with a review of the major cardiovascular risk factors such as blood pressure, cholesterol, stress, obesity, smoking, and diabetes. It then explains the approaches recommended to restore balance in the mind, body, and environment using techniques such as the Transcendental Meditation program, dietary guidelines and use of herbal supplements, and Maharishi VedicSM architecture.

People can apply a lot of this knowledge on their own, said Dr. Schneider. They can do an assessment of their own mind-body type and begin right away with a program to restore balance.

The book targets a huge portion of the population because 150 million Americans suffer from one or more risk factors for heart disease and over half of all Americans will die from this disease.

The number one cause of death in the world today is cardiovascular disease, Dr. Schneider said. The book is really meant to bring out the knowledge of how to prevent and treat heart disease, based on the Universitys extensive research, in a popular yet science-based format.

Dr. Pearson said the book opens the door not only to a healthy heart but to perfect health, enlightenment, and world peace. I hope this book reaches many millions of people worldwide and inspires leaders in government, business, and education to make Maharishis programs for perfect health, enlightenment, and peace available to everyone.

Visit http://www.totalhearthealth.info for an overview of this natural approach to a healthier heart.

What I do know, is that He is a Blazing light of Brahman

I agree with that, and have similar experience with him. We probably know each other. But on a relative level, theres some screwy shit about him that takes some doing to come to terms with. I guess we can classify that under the paradox of Brahman.

It is interesting and has been mentioned numerous times before (actually I think it was Bob Brigante who first pointed it out some time ago).

Of course there are also the reports of people at the recertification course who paid all that money and got reamed out by M. for hours via satellite, so he can't be too happy with what was happening. I'm not clear however on just what it was he was so upset about.

He has always flown into rages, sometimes for days on end. Often it has been against the Western governments, for their war-mongering, etc. Sometimes against the medical establishment. Sometimes, but usually for not as long, against an individual. In Hertenstein, 74, there was a press secretary named John whom MMY used to yell at every night. The guy had amazing composure. He just stood there and took it night after night without batting an eye. I think the rage against the recerts has to do with blaming someone other than himself for the Movements failure. He did the same thing a few years back on a phone call to a group of Governors in California. Reaming them for having wasted their lives by getting jobs and raising families instead of working for the Movement.

TM teachers who go off on their own, lacking the resources of the
TMO, could not possibly teach enough people to derail this strategy
of slow growth of consciousness on the earth, so MMY said that he
did not mind if TM teachers went off on their own, teaching TM under
some other name. The TMO is not suing TM teachers who are off on
their own, as long as they do not infringe on the TM trademark
(several TM teachers are now teaching what they are calling
the Transcendental Stress Management Program).

Im pretty sure that more people are being taught TM these days by independent teachers than by official ones.

At Estes Park, someone asked Jerry about adding MMYs name to the puja and he said, No yet.

Maybe the argument will go something like, He didnt want his name in the puja while he was alive, because he was deferential to Guru Dev, but now that he has passed, it is entirely appropriate. After all, Hagelin and others have already been praising him as The greatest saint ever to walk the earth.

[FairfieldLife] From Kirk

Title: From Kirk

-- Forwarded Message
From: Kirk [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Date: Sat, 17 Jun 2006 10:43:13 -0500
To: Rick Archer [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: Hey

Hey, don't mind me. Coming and going. I think I found what I needed to know. Basically that Maharishi isn't really focused on except insofar as his escapades. At the newsgroup. And that the Huntsville course will be going on simultaneous to some other of my courses. Therefore an auspicious few months to practice more.

I woke up at 2:00 am last night and started ranting. I wrote a few posts. Then I had a horrible headache. I did some practices and went back to sleep.

I had two clear dreams. In the first, my wife whom I love threw my precious one faced rudraksha mala and four one faced broke off of the strand. I picked them up in my hand and started yelling at her, like why? How could you do this? That sort of thing.

After waking and doing some practice I understood this meaning. TMO, my love of sorts, threw what I found precious and broke it, and there I was ranting at Maharishi whom I perceived to be the cause of that.

And then this other dream. I was driving, and turning a corner, and then the window got so small that I thought I was driving backwards, and I panicked, and then the window ceased and became a partition which was close to my face and black and my vision got dark, and I felt like I was suffocating, which is when I yelped and woke up.

After meditating this morning I realized that I had narrowed my view to near darkness and felt backward.

The two dreams coming back to back seem therefore related and mean to me that I blame Maharishi for atavistically backsliding his Movement, but that also my point of view is very limited and even suffocating.

Thus I cannot trust my own point of view to be open or wholistic. And since I cannot trust myself with regards to Maharishi, I cannot post at this group at present, because I don't wish to say useless things. Time is too precious. I prefer to spend it where my words are not going to cause confusion or conflict.

And then though I did some I-ching on the subject and asked about the Movement and it said, Darkening of the Light. So I can't really be a part of that.

So peace and thanks. I'll always be around one way or the other. That is, until I won't be. No path is separate from the ground of being. If I have said so then I was being ignorant.

TTYL - Love Kirk

I can't say, never met him, except once in a dream and that doesn't

they believe it?

And also regarding getting escorted out, were those that this

From what Ive heard, there have been instances in Vlodrop where people have questioned Maharishi respectfully about course fees, MUM policies, etc., and have found their bags packed for them by the time they returned to their room.

You make a good point here. Controlling the room is something Bush
does too and I'll bet seeing Trump personally isn't easy if you are a
skeptic. That did not prove my point. The question becomes, does he
claim to be enlightened. I vote yes.

Just because he said he was enlightened, why did
 they believe it?

This is a deep point. I'm sure you know all about Lifton's
perspective. That is my guess. My conscious rational mind was not
functioning properly. Plus I believe the darshon experience is real
and powerful. I just do not believe the traditional interpretation of
what it means. People who saw Mao described the experience in similar
terms of people's description of personal contact with a master. I
don't believe it was because he was a radiator of pure being. It may
just be one of those mental experiences that had an evolutionary value
when not deferring to the alpha chimp could mean death. Just a guess.

Or perhaps famous leaders, rock stars, and gurus become focal points for whatever kind of power they represent. The masses focus attention on them; they transmit it back. Of course, gurus and yogis like Tat Wala Baba had plenty of darshan without interacting with many people, but the principle may still be valid.

[FairfieldLife] Converting analog audio to digital

2006-06-18 Thread Rick Archer
Title: Converting analog audio to digital

Im taking tabla lessons and I record them. How can I patch a regular analog tape recorder into my Mac or PC so as to create mp3s of each separate rhythm Im studying? What hardware and software do I need? Would I be better off getting a digital tape recorder? Can in iPod serve as a digital tape recorder? Id prefer to just use a regular tape recorder, as high fidelity is not a priority.

You can use an iPod to record audio. It's not exactly great sound (its meant for taking
memos), but it can be done. The main advantages are that its relatively cheap ($30 for the
microphone and no other equipment needed) and it plugs straight into a Mac or PC via the
firewire/USB iPod link and iTunes software.

With any other solution, you need either an audio connector from the tape recorder to the
audio-in jack or jacks with the right voltage/ohm rating, or a USB/firewire connector.
Most/all modern tape recorders come with one or more of these though the Mac's
microphone input may not be the consumer standard since Apple designs often assume
that professional equipment is being used. You can also get USB/MIDI converters, etc.

If you already have an iPod, I'd get the belkin microphone (or whatever else is available)
and see if that suits your needs since it's plug and play and one-step to get it to work
(iTunes will automatically upload any new audio files you've created on the iPod when you
plug it into your Mac (or PC?)).

Using Audacity and with a little fiddling with the volume, it was easy to record, edit, and save as MP3s. Question: I cant hear whats being recorded as its being recorded. I think selfless, simple, non-PR-focussed, group service projects by
any spriritually oriented group, are a great way to create
word-or-mouth and good buzz about a particular program.

They can also be very good for the participants evolution. Ego-attenuating; heart-developing.

Both Amma and Karunamayi emphasize the importance of OM in a mantra. I asked Amma about it and she gave me a 10-15 answer, but Id have to ask my wife or other friends who were there to refresh my memory on all the points.

My question to Rick is how he uses the mantra. Wondering if the
difference is in how it is used rather than the mantra itself? (Or
maybe just stoppping using the former mantra was beneficial!)

I use it TM-style, including advanced technique with attention in the heart area, and sometimes japa-style: mentally while doing mundane tasks, riding my bike, etc.

What type of meditation do you do with the mantra?

TM-style

Japa?

Sometimes.

Out loud?

Mentally

Is it the mantra or how you use it? (Or maybe the improvement is from
stopping using the other mantra! So hard to tease out cause and
effect. There are always so many factors which change.) In any case
I'm curious about the method of meditation.

Youre right. There are many influences. Hard to isolate the influence of the mantra.

Not sure of the whole thing but there's something odd about the half that crawls away, and
definitely something odd about the half that sits up. Did you notice that he helped her lie
down in the first place?

He just cradled her head in his hand. If he had been supporting the entire weight of a contortionist who had her legs behind her shoulders, he would have had to use both hands. And if the legs were represented by another contortionist, with the first one balanced on top of her, she wouldnt have been able to walk so naturally, sit down, etc.

That's bound to get you consistent, analyzable results, I agree...

Not saying it does. Things are wonderful, but there are too many intermixed influences to discern one from the other.

You should be able to monitor the mic input. On your PC open
Start-Entertainment-Volume Control make sure the settings are right.
Also check the Preferences in Audacity.

got it. Using the line in jack instead of the microphone jack and tweaking a few preferences did the trick.

Could swear that people here have quoted Gurudev saying something about this and MMY
has always made it clear that it IS controversial.

Yes. Maharishi used to tell a story about a woman who complained to Guru Dev that since she had taken up spiritual pursuits everything had fallen away from her. Her husband had died, she had lost her money, etc. He inquired and discovered she had been using a mantra with OM in it i.e., a recluse mantra. Maharishi always said that recluse mantras had OM in them; householder mantras did not.

[FairfieldLife] Dzogchen Valley

2006-06-24 Thread Rick Archer
Title: Dzogchen Valley

From a friend of mine whos up in Tibet:

Hi I have just come out of the woods for a day to Garze, Kham, a town big enough to have internet... I have reemerged only to buy an ax for the monastery in the amazingly beautiful Dzogchen valley where I have been staying since arriving in Kham a couple of weeks ago. My job there is to chop wood and carry water, which I am told will be no different after I acheive enlightenment in some distant Aeon from now. But oddly, there was no ax at the monastery so I have actually til now been merrily smashing the boards I could with a sledge hammer, a spectator sport for the nuns and monks, a visualization for me of my own ego-dismantling process. On arrival I saw some little nuns swinging the hammer like pixies at the side show trying to ring the bell and so took over the work from them. Now the smashables are exhausted so I am making my small extra contribution to the Monastery by taking the trip to Garze to buy axes and such. There's lots of axable wood around there. I will ride the five hour bus back to Dzogchen tomorrow morning.

The monks don't seem to do much work, but they smile and laugh a lot and a big group of them did build a nice bridge yesterday (the pics I wanted to share, sigh) but in general, feminism hasn't reached Kham yet. And last week I helped one monk put the final touches on the head altar where the Buddha statue sits at the recently rebuilt Gompa. My height came in handy for painting and nailing the brass plaques into place. The Chinese are tolerant enough to allow the rebuilding of monasteries these days, though all the monasteries in the area were demolished during the Cultural REvolution. It was a great loss but doesn't Buddhism teach the impermanence of all things and didn't this give the artisans a chance to do some great new work?

The valley itself is at the foot of a glacier with high granite spires on three sides and is a moraine rather like the one formed by glaciers at Wallowa Lake. Here the river that flows through the valley pours out of a hole in the rock wall below the glacier. A hundred meters away from this is a cave where one of the great modern Tibetan Masters, 19th Century, Patrul Rinpoche wrote a bible called Words of My Perfect Teacher. This is considered one of the holiest areas in Tibet and so beautiful it is clear why this is so. When I am not chopping wood and carrying water from the river to the kitchen in two buckets held by cords a bamboo pole draped over my shoulders, the humble job for which I am given a room and food at 15 Yuen ( about $2)/ day, I am having a great time exploring this and the neighboring valleys. If it was not so remote, took three days on rough busses to get here, this would surely be a major destination for trekking. As it is there are few westerners. I have pictures to attach but I cannot figure out how to get them from my USB pin onto the yahoo, just tried for ten minutes, tough to read Chinese, pics may have to wait, but take my word for it its amazing here... not just the scenery but the people. these Khampas are still old style Tibetan. They are very curious and friendly, love having their picture taken and I am for them a walking circus attraction, no end of amusement over the size of my feet and my height.

Right now there is a high level initiation at the monastery so it is filled with monks and lamas from all over. Not being a monk, and very unlikely I will become one, I can't attend and wouldn't understand a thing anyway. But in August there will be some teachings for foreigners, mostly Chinese, and for this there will also be English translation. I am very interested in these and will probably stay here abouts until then traveling to other monasteries and treks within a days travel, may not be back on line before getting back to Chengdu August 29th just in time to get out of China before my visa expires. I have decided not to go to northern China or through much of China at all, it'll be there later, has been for about 5,000 years now. I want to stay here and just get to know this area and the people rather than just going to the tourist places among the Borg. This area is Borg free. REsistance is not futile after all.

I am meditating a bit too, maybe 5-8 hours/day depending on the definition of meditation, and have discovered that until one does this, one really has no idea how crazy one's mind is. Hope you are all insane enough to find out yourselves one day...Well, the 4th Noble Truth says there is a path and get on it, so as Allen Ginsberg wrote in America, I am putting my queer shoulder to the wheel even if I aint queer and aint in America!

Tashi Dilek! and hugs to you all yes you! Kevin or Tree depending on your choice...

Happy Birthday Mom and Kathy, may you both have a great many years of good times to come, love to you both...

I did run into an old friend yesterday who is trying to set up a peace palace in Ames (north of Des Moines home of Iowa State U.) and has already set up a store in a mall there. The theme of the Poland Spring course was you are all knowers of reality. There was a real crazy guy named Baron von Kruger who argued with Maharishi at great length that he (Baron) wasnt a knower of reality, and Maharishi patiently analyzed his experience to try to convince him that he was. Later, Baron got into a long argument with MMY about the merits of LSD. Very entertaining stuff. Baron showed up at Estes Park a couple of months later and started the discussion again. Maharishi promptly threw him off the course.

Rick, thanks for posting the files. I love the

 one
time MMY was at MIU in a small meeting and
 suddenly he

 asked
her to explain how she was taking notes. She
 described
to him what she was doing and he angerly said,
 who
told you to do it that way? She replied, you
 did! MMY
said he had not told her to do anything like
 that at
all. She insisted that he had and he kept on
 saying he
had not. She was finally on the verge of tears
 and she
gave up and said that he hadn't told her to do
 that
way. MMY said, very good and told her to
 continue
doing it the way he had told her, just as she
 had

This is very interesting, esp. given the recent

questionable research. What would a researcher,

 this is the way

 interesting.

If I saw them as my teacher, I'd give up on the
 teacher. If I saw
them as my Master, I'd adjust my thinking.

That's exactly what the people who drank the
 kool-aid in Guyana did.

 Scary.

Yes, but you bring it to an absurd extreme. I think
few would follow a master's directive to kill
themselves. I wouldn't care if it was a test or not,
I wouldn't do it. The dance with a master is as
complex as one's attachments. MMY in these examples is
just honing in for a specific attachment kill.

get it for me, give it to me, or you're outta here). Can you say
narcissist? Little things add up and begin to confirm a picture. I'll
think about it and maybe one of these days I'll tell you some of what
the private life of a pseudo-guru/con-man/charletan is like.

Because I don't like rounding, I was quite alert when, at the height
of the second Mallorca course, or second half of the first one, the
Fiuggi course and the La Antilla course, he literally preyed on the
mind-boggled rounders about getting money for 6-month courses from
some auntie or grandparents and getting money to support them as
108's and how he banged on about no one can love you like I can. He
could really insert himself and had the con-man's nose for the
weakness of others.

So is that the highly compromising activity you alluded to? Please elaborate as time allows. FFL is all about having the whole story told.

I don't.

For me its not so black and white. Meditating and being involved with MMY was of tremendous value in my life. Leaving was of tremendous value. Learning the behind-the-faade details has helped me (and many others) sort things out. After all, when Toto pulled back the curtain and exposed the real Wizard of Oz, Dorothy and her friends were disillusioned, but that was a good thing. The illusion wasnt doing them any good. But it had served a purpose in bringing them to Oz. And the professor wasnt such a bad chap after all. He pointed out to them that they already had what they were looking for.

Thats true, because the majority who were there werent in the inner circle. But those in the inner circle soon learned that MMYs private and public personae were quite different. This discovery caused the majority of MMYs personal secretaries to leave the movement.

No exercises independent of the tabla. But there are basic simple tabla rhythms that should be practiced repetitively to build strength and technique.

That he was very demanding of the people around is not new news to
anyone on the movement. Everyone knows this. Nobody cares. Those who
are close to him either stay with him or leave. He doesn't care. Only
the ego cares.

Im not talking about demanding. Im talking about ethical and rational shortcomings that most people either skirted, rejected (and left) or attuned to, becoming unethical and irrational themselves.

Im sure John is still meditating. Probably Vesey too, although you never know. John was doing real estate deals then worked with Gregg Wilson on Governors Technologies which was a plan to extract oil from Canadas oil sands, (or whatever theyre called). That company went belly-up and lost a lot of rus money (people invested in it out of respect for John and Gregg). Last I heard, he was working with a company that make guitars, and spends his time roaming around in the woods looking for suitable pieces of wood. Id like that job.

Heres the scoop on Vesey: http://tinyurl.com/gxhgo

In other words, how can you tell the difference

the world and uses business techniques as a means?

I think he did and does genuinely want to spiritually uplift the world. He saw the money making as a necessary means to that end, but got so caught up in it that it became his primary focus. He lost his perspective. I also think that hes much more than a businessman in a dhoti. Hes got the spiritual juice big time. But again, his worldly indulgences and pursuits compromised that. Not that you cant be simultaneously worldly and spiritual. But theres something amiss if youre posing as a celibate monk yet behaving as anything but one in your private life. That dichotomy creates a crazy schism in your personality and in your organization.

[FairfieldLife] FW: Help Please!

2006-06-30 Thread Rick Archer
Title: FW: Help Please!

-- Forwarded Message
From: Kirk [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Date: Fri, 30 Jun 2006 09:05:08 -0500
To: Rick Archer [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: Help Please!

Hi Rick, I wonder if you would post this at FFLife? Thanks.

Dear Peeps, this is Kirk from New Orleans. Many of you know me, or if not I have been on these newsgroups for years. I have never asked for anything. So as many know some people are just returning to their ruins after Katrina, and I just found out my best friend has returned. He was working offshore. He is poor, black, and lives in an area that was decimated called Hollygrove. His heriditary house had six feet of water. He lives there now amidst the mildew and squalor, trying to get his life back. There is no front door left and windows were bashed out. He has nothing but a gas range that still works.

He gets his water from a watermain in the street. He has no power in his area yet. Whatever funds he had from offshore work were spent just to get back home after a year away. I need to get him food, paper goods to eat off of, toiletries, and help him get his water turned on and everything else.

He didn't ask me. The fact that he accepts his fate is all the more sad. I literally cried when I saw how he was living. I'm sorry that I don't have enough money to get him slightly settled. Here's a chance for some people to help someone and know that their contribution will go directly to the persons hurting the worst. I'm sorry to ask like this. If anyone wishes to help any funds will go entirely to him. Please Paypal me and know that every cent from this account will go to helping the poorest and most desparate of people that exist in this country. Paypal me anything you can at [EMAIL PROTECTED] We thank you. - Kirk Bernhardt - New Orleans - 6/28/06
