Hi,
The way to add peasants to a building project in progress is to go to
the repair building option in the peasant's actions menu. Just point
the peasant to the building being worked on and tell it to repair and
he will begin helping construct the building.
Hth.

Ah! OK! Now I just need to practice so I quit getting neutralized every

out what the enemy was doing. But this just comes down to practice I think.

Thanks, all,

Hi Liam,
I did a google on that audio system and found:

Streemway Game Audio System (in development from Blastbay Studios) Do you
need a robust, easy to use audio engine for your game? Are you worried that
people might go and steal your sound and music files that you spent so much
time creating? Do you need to keep the final size of your distribution down
to a minimum but still have high quality sound effects and background music?
Then Streemway is for you! It effectively combines all the power of
Microsoft DirectSound, the AES Rijndael encryption standard and the Ogg
Vorbis audio compression algorithm to form an API that will suit all your
game audio needs.

Greetings,

AddictMUD has been around for 12+ years and has a very stable code
base, robust areas and a simple interface. It is based somewhat on the
Dragaera novels by Stephen Brust. There are many other areas in the
game dedicated to many different genres, some examples being Olympus,
Rome, Ender's Game, Dragonlance, Japan, Narnia and many, many more,
including unique areas. In terms of playability for the blind, I don't
know from personal experience, however a couple of my blind friends
have tried it and said it was easy to play using a screen reader. You
can play two characters at once, and create any number of characters.
There is pretty much no ceiling on how much you can improve your
character through leveling and remorting (going back to level one at a
certain level and gaining stats/extra equipment slots/special
abilities). There are also quests, both immortal run and integrated, a
bazaar system to buy and sell equipment and many other features. The
game is a non-PK game, there is no player versus player involved
except for the very occasional Total Carnage, in which the game is
backed up and people are allowed to kill and loot each other with no
drawback, as the game is restored afterward. There aren't a TON of
players, but there is a stable community of very helpful, nice people.
I think that anyone looking for a fun, ever-changing environment, they
should check out AddictMUD. Check out addictmud.org

Here is the address and port to the game itself:

game.addictmud.org port: 4000

Regards,
Patrick

Re: [Audyssey] Favorite computer game?

2008-10-22 Thread Charles Rivard
It depends on my mood. A good game of chess is always good when I have the
time. If I want to blow up stuff, it's Aliens in the Outback. Lone Wolf
and GMA Tank Commander are good action games, as are the pinball games from
Draconis Entertainment. Or I can explore Hogwarts as any fan of the Harry
Potter series would like to do with Sarah and the Castle of Witchcraft and
Wizardry. Word games? I like Chain Reaction and Search Party. If I want a
number puzzle, I'll play some Soundoku or a game of blank block. And for
side scrolling, I've got the betas from Thomas Ward or Liam's Super Liam.
Then again, I am a bowler, so a trip to Tenpin Alley is fun. Jim Kitchen's
collection of games are good when I don't want to spend a whole bunch of
time. They're fun little games, too.

hmm.
audio first person shooters are my favourite of choice but stratogy games are
also a favourite choice of mine.
I also like sport games, my favourite would be racing a track, nothing like it,
and ofcause golf .
In the board games catogry the game of life is quite good, and in simulaters
puppy 1 is quite good, also trucker.
If I could still use the older stuff interactive fiction I would still play
although I really havn't played those for ages if I had to have a favourite
one though cosmoserve would be my best also delusions.
anything that makes me think mainly is what I like, I don't care for some of
the card games or some of the arcade stuff although I do play these just for
fun.
I don't mind side scrolers but would play 3d games any day.
I also hate games with time limits on them.
I don't really have a favourite game, it depends on my mood.
