Re: [Audyssey] Racing Wheel Help
one thing you may have to do is seperate the pedals, so the accelerator doesn't act as one big pedal . In other words, if you lift off the accelerator it is like applying the brakes, you don't want this in most racing games I would think. think you can do this in control panel joysticks, but been a while since i did it. You guys on this thread, Notice how i used punctuation in this message, makes it a lot easier to read than if you don't use a few periods and commas, smile. happy racing, che - Original Message - From: "michael barnes" To: Sent: Thursday, August 27, 2009 10:20 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Racing Wheel Help i will tell you about the buttons on the wheel the two pads on the platform that is on the floor is call puddles the right one can be your gas and the left one can be your brake but it's what ever you chose the two flipers on the wheel can be for a number of things it's what ever you what it to be if you are playing top speed they can be your gear up and gear down the three buttons on the left and right can be what you want them to be for example one of the buttons can be your horn or your speed teller or your lap info and more the stick on the right is for gear up and gear down let me know iff i was any help to you if there is any race game that you are playing and you need help setting up the wheel let me know -- Email services provided by the System Access Mobile Network. Re: [Audyssey] Developing New Accessible Game in Java
Hi! This sounds really cool! I want to play it! That is, when it's complete. I may use this as part of my game report I am required to complete in 3 weeks for Technical School. That is, when it's complete. Otherwise ... We'll see. Original Message: - From: John jbrie...@surewest.net Date: Tue, 25 Aug 2009 17:12:35 -0700 To: Gamers@audyssey.org Subject: [Audyssey] Developing New Accessible Game in Java Hello all, John Brieger here. I am currently developing an audio-game in Java, and am wondering if anyone else on this list has done so already. If so, do you have any tips/advice for me? It seems as though most games developed on this list are using the .NET framework, but I wanted to be able to run over a browser in applet form. As I continue to work, I will most likely post up demos for testing purposes. My game is a modified Pac Man in which the player, using directional sound cues, must retrieve beacons while being chased by an enemy. The beacons spawn one at a time, and in addition to directional (RIGHT/LEFT) sound, the beacons grow louder the closer you get to them. As someone who has never programming a sightless game before, it would be helpful to hear from some veterans. Re: [Audyssey] Racing Wheel Help
Hi, If you want the force feedback support, Logitech profiler, and other advanced features of your racing wheel you need to install the Logitech software cd that comes with your racing wheel. Otherwise if you don't care about that you can use the generic Windows drivers that come with XP, Vista, and Windows 7. blind Treasures wrote: I just received my Realistic Logitech MOMO Racing Wheel and before I attempt to hook it up wanted to ask anyone here who has one if there is anything special I need to do besides plug it into the usb port and go? If you mean the monkies dropping coconuts, just walk up until your fairly close (ie, the monkey is almost but not exactly in the center), then when you here a coconut fall, run like the clappers before another can land, - remember, holding space pluss an arrow you will run instead of walk, moving much faster.
