Super Deekout from Dan Z Games! Fantastic, fast, and definitely arcade in style. Also addictive too so be careful. Best of all it's free so if you can't afford Pinball for example give this a shot. I just love having fun collecting coins, picking up power ups, avoiding the enemy as much as I can, etc. Mind you, I admit to using cheats, but why have them in the first place! Looking forward to trying the oil slick to destroy the enemy temporarily. Think I found them on the audio games forum but a file is generated if you score 2,000,000 or more points on normal or higher difficulty. I used to play this a lot, and I just relied on the various sounds used within the game. For example a block and an actual punch/kick are two different sounds. HI, The first thing you can try is to run the bat file as administrator. Right click on it and select run as administrator. If that does not work. Then read the readme file and it will explain step by step how to manually do what the bat file was supposed to do. Give that a try. If it still fails write back or drop Aprone a message directly. [Audyssey] a favor to ask to the mush z users on list
Hi, Oriel and Dennis have been working together to streamline the mush z package (removing files and whatnot that would allow for a more fluid download and use of the mush z client). But, alas, the older versions had a mud game in the world folder that when you would start the game you had to make a character, and one of the races was dark elf. I've asked both Dennis (Dentin) and Oriel (kurek) if they remember what the file was. Neither of them remember what the game was. So, I am asking any mush z users to look in their wolrd folders (inside the mush z folder (usually in the my documents folder), and see if you have any .mcl files. If so, could you copy and send them to me. This will not give me any personal data (passwords or whatnot). All that info is saved on the game servers. I just want to the game files to find out waht game that was I was talking about. I know that there is one called hellmoo.mcl, and there are 2 games that start and sound like german (which are not the ones I was talking about). Thanks to anyone who responds to this message. Your problem when forwarding is it needs the ip your router gives the computer and not the ip your provider gives your router. Try in a command prompt to type, ipconfig That will give you the ip for your computer. Well I tried without cheats and lol only got under 20,000 points whereas with the cheats lol I got over 1,000,000 but yes i agree cheats take away the challenge that's one con but am sure there are pros too. [Audyssey] Question about Monkey Business
Good evening all. I have a question about Monkey Business. In the Player's guide it talks about a level called, This Here's An Old Wet Town. However I cannot play the level. After some research I was advised to copy the oldwest.map file from Application Data to the location of Monkey Business, c:\program files\Draconis Entertainment\Monkey Business. Note on a 64 bit system it is c:\program files (x86)\Draconis Entertainment\Monkey Business. So I did this, but still can't play the level. Any ideas? Cool game though and I like the characters. Actually no they didn't get rid of it. It's just that ever since they updated the game there's been a bug or something that causes the map file for that level to be placed in a different folder than the rest of them when the game is installed. I forget exactly where it winds up (and it varies depending on your operating system), but it'scalled oldwest.map. Find that file and cut and paste it into the game folder and you'll have access to it again. Just be warned that it is still a bit buggy.If you lose all your lives on that level and then load the saved game it'll skip you ahead to the Surf N' Turf level. So far Draconis hasn't been able to figure out why this happens. But thou must! [Audyssey] Swamp Vcampaign help.
Hi everyone, I’m trying to create a Swamp campaign, but keep getting errors when I try to open it. I think the problem lies in my capitalisation, but I don’t know which words are supposed to have caps in them, is there a way I can make Jaws read caps? I got tired of jaws reading punctuation because it got quite spammy, so I just need a way of finding out single caps for each word. I think the game you're referring to was called Avalon. I'm not sure as I removed all those files. He should've done that anyway before making his exe. Hi jim and list Jim, I enjoy your press your luck game. I just need help with 2 things please. When its my turn to play, I press enter on the menu item presss your luck. Then I hear a bleeping sound playing. The sound pans very quickly from left, centre, right. When is it the best time to hit enter? The first time I played this game I waited 5 minutes but after 5 minutes the bleeping sound still plays. Will this sound play until I hit enter? When is the best time for me to hit enter. Do I need to press enter if I hear the sound in my left speaker? or my right speaker? or the centre? Because this bleeping sound pans very quickly from left, centre right. When is it the best time to hit enter? It happens a lot that I hear the explosion and I lose all my money. Do I press enter at the wrong time? I live in south africa; thus I never heard of the tv show press your luck. I notice that sometimes there's an explosion and then I have 0 dollars. Was there an explosion in the tv show as well? And then I'd like to know what prizes I have won. Sometimes I cannot propperly hear the prizes I have won. Sometimes I can't make out the mary and mike voices pronouncing the prizes Is the prizes written to a text file so that I can use my screen reader to read the names of the prizes? Hi Nicol, Yes, the Press Your Luck board will continue to go around and around until you press the enter key or space bar. On the TV game show it is a large board with lots of squares it makes a similar sound as the board goes around one square lighting up and then another. It really is just luck as to what you will land on when you press the key. On the TV show there was a large button that the contestant pressed or smacked to stop. And you are supposed to chant no whammies, no whammies, big bucks, big bucks, no whammies, stop! But really there is no way to know when is a good time to press the key. If you mean mp3 file there is a copy of the BGT manual in mp3 format, but I don't know of a step by step tutorial in mp3 format that can teach you all you need to know given that programming is part know-how and part experience. Hi Michael, As far as I know there are three possibilities in terms of accessible wrestling games. The first are a couple of older Dos text based games like Piledriver and Wrestling League Manager. Sorry, I don't have a link for you to download but they are out there on the Internet or I can Dropbox them to you. There is a web based game, forget the name off hand, where you can manage a wrestling league etc. I tried it once, but I can't remember the name right off the top of my head. Finally, there is a wrestling game I am developing called Powerslam, but it is not ready for public release. Sorry, but it will get released if and when I find the time. Just want to say that I never think of audio/MP3 file tutorial material for any form of programming/scripting as the best source for this type of info, since you do sometimes need/want to review the content of any examples character by character, so not really the best idea to listen to someone else just talking about it, so, yes, something like a CHM help file would most likely be a better idea.
