Well Treesbrothers have said they'll add accessibility to the game, even if it takes a few version upgrades to fix everything fully as it has with star traders one (indeed I'm still waiting on the extra info in the navigator, though that's coming next update). Had they not confirmed that they were planning to add full access to Star traders 2 I'd have not bothered either donating to the project myself or spreading the word. Not sure on exact dates, but I don't think too long,at least for the alpha version, of course getting that perfected might be a longer process, though judging by their release schedules I think they work fairly quickly. [Audyssey] Updates to king of dragon pass
And more updates! Apparently 15 new scenes plus compatibility with Ios 8 and the new series of I devices. It makes me want to give the game another go and try for the long victory, particularly sinse the updates are such that new scenes will show up more frequently if you've just updated the ap. [Audyssey] Selling a Park in Park Boss
So I'm happily chugging along in week 56, about to set up a new attraction, when I get an offer to sell my park. As the offer happened to be thrice my current bank account, I figured I'd take it and start a new park with the money. The first confusing thing is that the game exits, something I did not expect. Upon restarting and checking my balance, I've got.zero? How does this work, exactly? I was under the impression that you received the money you got when you sold and could, with that money, start a new park. But I have absolutely nothing now. Honestly, what you have implemented is logical, but the obvious question is why not just hit the restart option? Given the current scenario, the two are basically equal, regardless of the price you get for your park. Perhaps you have the price for a hundred squares of land set for a certain amount, and you take the difference into your new park? So, assuming I sold it for 375000 pounds and the price for he land was 200 K, I take the 175 K into my new park. yep. you need to charge more for tickets. at your stage, i'd probably look at around 10 to 15 per entrance. set it to that, then wait for about 1 week, and ask the people what they think of the prices. if they are happy with those prices, they'll tell you it's fare or a good price. then you can keep bringing the price up 1 or 2 quid a ticket, till they say it's to expensive, and then drop it back 1 or 2 to make them happy. that way you pull in as much as you can my first park that i ran, successfully anyways, made it up to week 145, and i had made about 3000 pounds, and had a park about 30 squares long. and most of that wasn't filled in. the first 10 by 10, i had miss messured things, and had blank spots all over the place. this time, i've built it better. so far, i've built a shopping area, food cort, customer service areas, toilets enough to run around 6000 people, and a huge kids area full of every kids ride that you can built, plu most of the games you can built. the 10 by 10 is nearly fully filled in, there's just spaces left for more toilets as my numbers go up. i'm on week 59, and i just made, 105000 poundsi n that last week. i have 4500 people coming through my doors every week so far. good luck! Although I generally don't talk about my personal life much on list I believe I am free to mention things that are going on, that effect me personally, and should give some sort of explanation for why things are not going well for USA Games. If I were to promise you not to talk about my divorce I would not be able to also explain to my customers why various projects such as Mysteries of the Ancients, Raceway, etc have been delayed. What then would I tell them? My point here is the answer is no. I can not and would not make such a promise, because it is a pretty major turning point in my life. Hi Ishan, If you are talking about the different arrows, spelled a r r o w s, they all have different stats. I don't have Entombed installed on this machine so I can't give you specifics off the top of my head, but some arrows do more damage than others and are more effective weapons. As for the enemy I assume you are talking about the Drake on level 7. He is in deed one of the more major bosses in the game. As how to defeat him that is a bit hard to explain not knowing the composition of your party members, what weapons you have at hand, etc. All I can tell you at this point is try and direct most if not all of your attacks at the Drake's head. Hi Shaun, In the beginning of the game, that is when you start out with a new park, there is no options for snack stands or restaurants. After you make a certain amount of income the park board will give you an upgrade which will allow you to build new stuff like snack stands, restaurants, better rides, etc. You just have to earn enough of a profit before you are allowed to build that stuff. Hi Shaun, Poor management on your part. By 20 weeks you should be turning some profit and paying back the lone from the bank. If employees are striking it means you aren't paying them enough, and be careful of those park reports.They are only suggestions, and tend to be a bit low when suggesting proper wages and ticket prices. You need to pay a little more than what the park reports suggest. that's why they keep striking on you. I agree, and I think this is definitely a feature that should be added in a future release. Given the high incidence of food poisoning, it makes sense that, as the manager, you'd sample the food to make sure it's up to par.
