Hi Damien and Shaun,
It is a combination, I believe. You have to collect all of the chests,
however I believe there is also a time limit for levels, which must be met
before you can move on.

no it increases levels on items once the playing grid is 0ed  the

[Audyssey] Treasure mania 1

Hi all, I am wondering if someone can help with this game? I understand 
everything about this except for the most important thing, how to get or even 
hear the chests?

I am assuming that when I get too close to cliffs or something like that if I 
go too far to the left or right the alarm buzzer lets me know? 

If someone can let me know how to hear the chest sounds I'd appreciate that?

Hi Nicol and all,
The arrow hit sound is supposed to scarry you, since its not really a cool 
thing when you die.
When you hear an arrow from either side, you should press and hold the left 
control key, so you'll keep ducking, till the arrow passes your boat. After 
that 
you can release the left ctrl key.

frightening such as being  scared, more   like a shock.  Any sudden loud
sound gives me that sudden  fright. Such  a sound is the sound that

The thing is: I'm busy experimenting with this dugging. Its eems that,
sometimes, not always, just sometimes, you can press control once and
then you are free from arrows hitting you. But that only happens
sometimes and when I expect it the  least that arrow hits  me and the
sound really frightens me. I remember reading a post long ago where a
member said the sound of bees  frightens him in the  tj game, so sounds
in games that frightens us is something common.
I'm not the only gamer that gets frightened by sounds.
I must say: I'm very impressed with the yelling sound  in the new sod. I
have played the demo of 1.0,  I haven't upgraded from 1.0 to 1.2. I
played the demo of 1.0 and then when 1.2 was released I also played that
demo and liked it more. But with 1.0, if you are busy fighting a
creature, your character suddenly gives the death cry, just all of a
sudden and that frightened me that I feel like going through my house'
roof. But with 1.2 there is a slight pause when your character dies
before  it gives the death cry. If I'm in a fight and my health drops to
0, I notice my spacebar suddenly does nothing and then a second later I
hear the death cry, so that is really a rocking improvement. 
The impact sound when I'm hit is also a nice improvement in sod.
The treasure mania  game rocks, its just that sound of the arrow hitting
me that gives me a sudden shock.
Its   the same when you are sitting in your room  and you are busy
studying and all of a sudden you hear a door banging. That sudden loud
sound can be frightening, isn't it? I would prefer rather a lazar sound
when an arrow hits me. You can keep the sound as it is when the arrow is
on its way to me,   I would just like the sound when the arrow hits me
to change.
If its possible to change it, its greatly appreciated, but if it can't
be done I understand.Just a little suggestion I thought of dropping in.

[Audyssey] treasure mania 1

Hi ian.

I tend to use the left arrow get close to the left side of the game where
the left cliffs are and hit r to turn on my chest detector.  If the arrows
are flying i tend to keep the left control depressed so that the guy is
always ducking while moving around and picking up chests.

Its very good once you get the hang of it.

the chests make a low creeking noise, but it is very hard to here I find. 
Personally, I just stick on the chest detector with the R key and use that.

Hm started playing that yesterday. Sometimmes the chests are really deep 
into the  dangerous coves where you hear the huge waves. Tried going t 
extreme left and right just before you crash? It's risky, but that's 
sometimmes where they are.

Indeed, and a good friend of mine recently got a nasty shark related 
surprise wen it happened, which was amusing.

I think for very complex games like Technoshock or Sarah a few sounds like 
the sounds for targiting enemies and a few basic sounds of their attacks can 
be useful, but I'd regard these cases as the exception rather than the rule, 
and certainly for a game like Treasuremania it isn't necessary imho.

And even for something like technoshock, or Sarah I'd only want a few sounds 
in the menue.

A trailer is a bit different, as it is supposed to show the features of the 
game, or to give a demonstration how the game will look like when it'll be 
released.
In this game, a learn game sound feature could spoil important things, for 
example if you play the game at first, you won't know that the shark can catch 
your 
net.

Experimenting in a game is always a main factor, keep in mind that in a 
mainstream game you won't find a "learn game pictures" feature. We're following 
the 
same way, and i believe if you experiment with it, you'll get much more than 
with the knowledge of the sounds.

Hi,
Generally, speaking it is not a good idea to alt+f4 out of any game as 
they have several objects, sounds, etc that need to be shutdown properly 
and alt+f4 usually doesn't allow for this in many cases.
I actually had to put in a ApplicationClosedEvent in my games to have my 
games close properly as far to many people just thought they would 
alt+f4 out rather than using the exit I provided. I'm assuming here that 
Treasure Mania has a similar issue where you prematurely destroy an 
object  before it is finished with it's operation and it crashes with 
the error 91.

when I press alt+f4 to close the game (it can happen when I am in a rush, 
and I have to close it before hearing, game over, the score is so so and 
so), I have this error.

towards the shark
and, another question:

I have all the system requirements.  What should I do?

Hello Nicol,
When you're able to hook up a chest, your detector will make a constant 
alarm-like sound. When this happens, you have to tap the down arrow until you 
hear your hook connects with the chest. Then, tap the up arrow to pull it 
onboard.
In the next release, we'll have a sound index, so you will be able to know 
which sound is for what.

[Audyssey] treasure mania

I can't  hook up any chests. I managed to catch 2 fish but I can't hook up
any chests. The detector's sound is confusing me. Sometimes I hear a bell
sound but pressing the up and down arrows does absolutely nothing.

yeah they are really not clear.
Currently turning on your detecter will produce a loud buzzing when there is 
stuff for you to get.
A wave at the side vary close means you are about to hit something.
Fish gooing around are little to mediam waves and sharks are big snorting 
things.
Thunder is thunder, and lightning strikes are breaking glass.
Birds are birds and arrows sound like small birds.
A slight rattling sound is cash and a bell sound is special item.
The sounds are not clear although treasure detectors, and other things like net 
repairs, nets and such are destinct.
most treasures that are bonuses are announced although not what treasure it is 
unless its a bonus, a bomb ticks and goes bang.
