I remember that this Bug was already in dods but also was fixed months 
ago. As a temp solution we set all our servers to *
mp_flashlight 0
*that time to protect the players from themselfes.*

I'm also curious why cl_minmodels was removed? For example countless of 
servers use custom counter-strike source models server-side and the 
people who do not want to see them, have been adviced to turn 
cl_minmodels 1, if they do not want to see them. Now this is gone, many 
players will be unhappy.

It's the Server port we change the range on. The client port still bindes
from 27005 and up.
Can the Client port be the reason or does RCON use the server port ?

If I have recently enabled DMZ on my router and set it to forward all
traffic to my clearOS box. This give me a lot more power for traffic
management.

Hey,

This update have broken the relay tv. If you connect a relay to a master, as
soon as the relay is connected, it freeze and you can't do anything with it.

This is a major problem for all Counter Strike Source Match Broadcasting...
If this could be fixed quickly it would be much appreciated as there are
many upcomming events.

Short update about the relay issue. After a couple of minutes, the relay
server unfreeze, display an error message, restart itself and then seems to
work correctly.
However, it shouldn't be that way.

Here is the logs:

SourceTV relay active.
[S_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; unable to update local steamclient.dll.
Continuing with current version anyway.

Here the server freeze for about 10 minutes and then:

This is the infamous bug that was in DOD Source, was fixed and now it's 
back on CS Source. I can confirm this while this isn't really server issue.

So, any word on why minmodels was removed? It still shows on console but 
doesn't do anything. The change won't fix the issue where players see 
CT's as T's and T's as CT's occasionally.

This is exactly what happens on my CS:S server when I try to change the map 
using the map command in the console.  If I change the map using 
changelevel then it works fine.  Are you changing the map to get SourceTV to 
work?  That's what I was doing.  If that's the case, then it's not a SourceTV 
problem.  It's a problem with using the map command.

[hlds_linux] TF2: TV enabled = constant fps drops (and even higher cpu usage compared to the past)

  I'm doing some test with a tf2 server


box is a xeon quadcore x3210 with 4gb ram
only 1 gameserver running (tf2)
fps_max set to 500
basically whenever I enable STV (even with -tvmasteronly) the cpu usage 
jumps from something like 30% (on a single core) to 60~80% on a single core.

I got many different servers with very different hardware... all the 
servers are centos and debian based... all the one i did some test on is 
giving me the same problems (even with the official debian kernel)... so 
I tend to exclude hardwareoperating system problems...

I'm aware that in the past sourcetv was hitting the cpu usage (but not 
this much as I remember...) but the server was still usable...
now instead as soon as sourcetv is enable the server is basically 
unusable... there are constant fps drop/lags... even fpsmeter says the 
server is very very bad.

I'm experiencing this problem only with tf2...

the actual css (still based on orangebox) instead is not giving me these 
troubles (fps drops)...

Is anybody else experiencing similar problems?
