Hi,

Well I updated Jaws the other day and all went well and Outlook was running

However, I now have changed something in Jaws or outlook and Jaws wont read
the list of folders under my mailbox.

I can certainly move to them using the Control Y command, but if I say shift
tab back to the tree list of folders, Jaws doesn't read them but they are
visually showing up and when I review the view options, the folder list has
been ticked.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Re: [JAWS-Users] align in 2007 MS word

2016-11-05 Thread Adrian Spratt
Jorge, this subject is being beaten to death, but there's a little
misinformation and a little more misunderstanding here. Tom has been asking
about vertical, not horizontal, centering. Also, control-c is the copy command.
To center horizontally, the keystroke is control-e. There are various ways to
stop centering this text, one being to press enter after you've typed the text
you wish centered. You can also center lots of contiguous text by selecting it
and pressing control-e. Whenever you find text is centered that you don't want
centered, press control-e again. Control-e functions like a toggle between
centering and left-aligning.

For vertical centering, see the messages Dave Carlson and I posted earlier.

[JAWS-Users] Transferring Apps From PC To iPhone

2016-11-05 Thread Michael B.
Hi All,

I downloaded a couple of Apps to iTunes on my Windows 7 PC using Jaws 16.
How do I get them from my
computer to my SE iPhone? I have Autodownloading & Apps turned on in iTunes
& App Stores. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.
Take care.

[JAWS-Users] Experience installing JAWS 18

2016-11-05 Thread Adrian Spratt
I know many of you have already installed JAWS 18 and didn't see the need to
comment, but for anyone who has yet to do so, two things struck me as I went
through the process just now. First, unlike with all previous versions, I
wasn't told to reboot. Once I agreed to migrate my JAWS 17 settings to 18, JAWS
18 came up the way I want it. I thought there must be some oversight, but I
opened a program or two, and everything worked as usual.

Then I discovered that JAWS 18 was included in my alt-tab windows rotation. My
setting has always been to have JAWS in the system tray. So now I did reboot.
When my PC came back up, JAWS 18 was in the system tray, where it belongs.

So, a very smooth installation process. The only hiccough for me was my
expectation that I'd need to reboot. Sometimes you don't realize that good news
really is good news. The system tray issue is almost too minor to mention.

[JAWS-Users] Windows Media Player

2016-11-05 Thread jyandt.martin
I have a two-fold question regarding Windows Media Player version 12.

First, can anyone give me the instructions for clearing out the library of all
songs/albums?

Second, can anyone tell me if there is a tutorial in the Tips and Tricks page
on the JAWS-Users site for this specific version of Media Player?
Thanks.

Hi,

Well I updated Jaws the other day and all went well and Outlook was running
fine.

Andy, this is to center horizontally. They are looking for vertically. Great

Hi Thomas,

I am no expert, but go to the view menu and then move back and forth until
you find "navigation pane." Press enter on that, and I think you will find
the problem. You want the choice that says "normal." The Short-cut is Alt V
N N. I am using Outlook 2010.

Hope that helps!
