Is the document maximized? 3. Is the zoom set to 75% or thereabouts? 4. is the font a reasonable size? 5. Is the font something JAWS can read easily? 6. What does the status line say? 67 If you select-all, copy, paste the document into either Wordpad, Notepad, or into Word, can you then read it? One of my students had a document we couldn't read. Ann; You are right, it is strange. I set the view to normal, but there was no change. Still no reading of a doc document and no reading of the headers with alt 1, alt2 etd in outlook. Jaws 13 works well on my home computers it must be something with the system at work. The page up and page down in Jaws 12 do not move the cursor in .doc documents on either computer.
