Hi Robert,

I just tried this with FF 29.0 to make sure it works with your problem as
well. Following the steps also allow you to use the Jaws cursor if it's
needed at some point:
You can use the JAWS Cursor navigate with arrow keys in Firefox after
turning off Firefox's hardware acceleration setting.
1. In Firefox, press ALT+T to open the Tools Menu and then choose Options.
2. From the Advanced options, choose the General tab.
3. Press TAB to move to the Use Hardware Acceleration when Available
checkbox. Press the SPACEBAR to clear it, then press ENTER to close the
dialog box.
4. Close reopen Firefox.

[JAWS-Users] Jaws firefox

2014-07-07 Thread Robert Doc Wright
For some reason when I open firefox lately I can't move on the page unless I
tab. What would cause the virtual pc cursor to suddenly stop working when
I'm on a web page? Although when I press jawskey+z it says virtual pc
cursor off, which means it was already on but I cannot arrow anywhere on the
page? The version of firefox I have is 300.0

Did this problem start when you updated to Firefox 30? Perhaps the problem
is with the latest version of Firefox and not with JAWS.

Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws firefox

2014-07-07 Thread Mike B.

HTH
Take care.
Mike

I'm having a lot of weird things going on with FF30.0 also. To mention just
one, the JAWS cursor can't see anything except various unlabeled graphics.
Don't use FF that much so hope others will chime in.

Hi Cher,

I don't use FF much at all either but, try the following see if it helps:
1. Open Firefox then open the Settings Center.
2. Arrow down to, Graphics Symbols, right arrow to open.
3. Arrow down to, Graphics Verboscity, press the spacebar until Jaws
reports, Labeled.
4. Tab to, okay, press enter, to save your change close the Settings
Center.

Take care.

SendSpace, it is not giving me an option of where I want to save it. Can
someone please let me know
what to do to get this option?

Thanks,

Go into Tools and then into Options, and it's in the general tab. that's
where you go to tell Firefox where you want to save files.
