Calm down everyone, players do get injured you know and the damage isn't always visible. Press FA and circumstances always stack up against us, so what's the point of us trying to destroy ourselves? I've seen silvestri's "injury" on Twitter - it's only a scratch. The soft bastard needs to grow a pair. There were suggestions on Twitter that they'd all walked off from training together. In a strange sort of way it's what most of us would want - a team today without cellino's serie b rejects. Despite Bournemouth being the furthest away game, and on a Tuesday night we still sold out allocation in minutes and could have sold it 3 times over no problem. That passion is one of the things that will impress MC. ttfn Richard ___ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email leedslist-unsubscr...@gn.apc.org John 'Grampa' Sykes Rest In Peace old lad 28th Oct 1938 - 12 Nov 2013 MARCHING ON TOGETHER

Thanks for the correction:- That was our first mid week away league win since November 29th 2011, Nottingham Forest 0 Leeds United 4 We haven't done a whole lot better at home though have we? Re: [LU] Wtf is going on? 3-1?????
Yeah, as you say Redfearn has done great with the youth set up. If we appoint him manager based on these results, inevitably with Cellino he'll end up getting sacked and we'll have lost someone who's doing great work for the club. We are going to have a high turnover of managers over the coming years, so if we could keep Redfearn here to step in each and every time, whilst bringing through the youth that has to be good. I think whoever comes in will work closely with Redfearn anyway. Plus - he doesn't want the job. Grayson or Sabella ideally for me, though this Yugoslav guy looks to have a decent record. Let's face it, anyone is an improvement on the Hock. If we get organised and put a run together we can make playoffs with these players. And another good point made by Adam Pope, Redfearn has actually put himself in the shop window now. Really?. I think Redfearn believes in the youth and knows the youth and is prepared to go with the youth. This has to be the future. If a new man comes in now he will have different ideas and we start all over again. It's not much but it's 3 matches unbeaten run and a team that look lively. Imagine if the new man came in , though Cook was too young and experienced and went with Tonge, Murphy and Austin in a 3 man midfield ? Indeed. I did say that we were playing well and I did say we would get something. I thought we were bloody great today and the difference between the 1st half and the 2nd was that we were toothless in the 1st , lethal in the 2nd. 3 chances, 3 goals and bloody great goals. Redfearn has to be given the job. Silvestri - 8. Did nowt wrong and plenty of decent saves. Beradi - 7. Better and contributed coming forward. Warnock - 7. Did well, didnt look happy when subbed but it was an inspired substitution because he was struggling and Cooper really steadied the ship down their right. Bellusci - 5. I thought his defending was awful but his freekick was as good as anything you will see. He obviously practices these. Pearce - 7. Much better defending, his lack of pace not exploited. Austin - 8. I thought he was excellent defending and going forward. A real presence. Bianchi - 7. I thought he had a really excellent first half, a bit anonymous in the second but he's growing on me. Cook - 8. Excellent performance. This lad is our best player/ Antennuci - 7. Very lively throughout and took his goal like a proper striker. Sharp - 6. Had one great chance but fluffed it. Doukara - 8. His goal was class and throughout he worked his arse off. Got a lot to learn. subs: Cooper - 8. Did really well at left back. Strong defending. Byram - 7. Did is bit towards the end. Scousers will win the leageue. Because I dont want them to... I "hate" the scouserpodlians more than manu... their fans is always having a go at us.. no matter what... and when people start saying they deserve due to justice of the 95 or whatever number... I mean... NO! No disrespect, people should be able to go to a game and return, goes for our Chris and Kevin as well, but we dont deserve to win the league due to those things... Up till now, we could stop their mouth by simply reminding them when they last won the league, and when we did if they win now... then what can we do? No, please wake up Chelsea or spurs or whoever can grab it ! øystein -Original Message- From: leedslist-boun...@gn.apc.org [mailto:leedslist-boun...@gn.apc.org] On Behalf Of Richard Walker Sent: 19. april 2014 20:39 To: Jim Moran Cc: Leeds List Subject: Re: [LU] WTF is going on? Re: [LU] WTF is going on?
Deciding if you want Chelsea or Liverpool to win the league is like deciding if you want to be kicked in the teeth or the balls. All you can do is enjoy the discomfiture of the one who doesn't win, and try and ignore the fact that the other one has won. That Connor Wickham though,eh? Twat! Can't score for us against the likes of Doncaster or Charlton, then goes to Maine Rd and Stamford Bridge and scores a hatful to hand the title to ubercheat Suarez and his whining chums on a plate. There's another impossible conundrum coming up tomnorrow...Norwich v Liverpool. Just for once, could a way be found for both teams to lose? Re: [LU] WTF is going on?
I actually don't recognise the current Chelsea as the club we had our rivalry with in the 70s and 80s. They're just a posh club with posh fans. I think it's hilarious that the Scousers haven't won the league for decades and yet their whinging fans still think they're the best in Europe. They think Gerrard is world class and think the world is against them yet they are pure lowlife. The knifings , slashings, Heysel , why does nobody ever mention these ? > On 19 Apr 2014, at 19:54, Jim Moran wrote: > > More than Chelsea. Horrible club. More than Chelsea. Horrible club. Hate Mourinho. I hate everyone apart from Leeds, but someone has to win the title, so if I had to choose anyone from the current premier league I would go with Everton. Re: [LU] WTF is going on?
And 2 clean sheets ! We are mathematically safe now too (not that we were ever in real danger) Whilst it sounded dreadful and Barnsley are as bad as Blackpool were maybe , just maybe, the takeover did distract the team a bit ? At least I am sure that is what Brian will be saying. I just hope the 2 wins with the reasonable chance of 3 more to follow - Forest were in a bad run of form pre today, Brum are shite, and Derby will be thinking of the play offs - does not persuade either Brian or Cellino to keep some of the dross we currently have ! Looking forward to Forest game - 5.15 kick off gives me a lot (and I mean a lot) of drinking time Dave From: Jim Moran To: Leeds List Sent: Saturday, 19 April 2014, 17:00 Subject: [LU] WTF is going on?
