fs Fryday ..
So I have one 8 x 8 hardbound (of course) copy of "The First Time I saw Paris" (besides my own copy) in the house... Yours for $50 plus media mail shipping in USA $2.75) and whatever it would be elsewhere. Now there were a couple of folk around the globe that told me once upon a time that they would love the book but the shipping was excessive.. so - if any of you far away who are expecting visitors from the USA in the near / relative near future maybe we could prevail upon one to slip it in their luggage to bring to you whend PDML meetings... or if any from abroad are coming to GFM in June I'm sure I can get it there, if not in person then by mailing it there. I'm only making $6.00 a copy - but since I already bought this copy for $44 it feels like I'd be making more because I'd be getting my investment back :-) Of course there are several calendars, a t shirt or two and mugs as well as the Paris book and the puzzle book available on line at my "store" on Create Photo calendars.. https://www.createphotocalendars.com/Shop/annsanfedelecalendarsandbooks thanks for lookin anyway, kids ann ann sanfedele photography https://annsan.smugmug.com https://www.cafepress.com/annsanstuff https://www.lulu.com/spotlight/annsan -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

GESO and FS FRYDAY - please look great price on my Paris booK!
everyone .. For a bunch of complicated reasons, I am able to get copies of the 8x8 sized book for $14.50 if I gather them before the end of September. On October 1st I won't be able to get it that cheaply and the prices for the book, as some of you know very well, was $53.00 when it came out - and I only made about $5.00 a copy. The 12x12 was more.. it was nice to see them bought by a number of you for those prices that are way out of my range. IF YOU ORDER BY Sept 21st the signed book will be $25.00 . $3.00 shipping by media mail in USA. I only found out about the $14.50 price to me about a week ago when I saw that the book was no longer in my store on their site...apparently, since I had not fiddled with any listings afer about 15 months they stop showing your creations. I had to pretend to edit each calendar and the PARis book to reactivate . that is when I found out I could have been getting them for $14.50 for about a year (and the calendars for less too) because they had been giving me a loyalty "lifetime"price - They were getting burned by doing that too generously so they are only honor it until the end of the month. And you guys who bought the book two years ago helped me achieve that big discount that I didnt' know I had .. Anyway, I hope I can get some more of you to buy the book directly from me . I'll make $10 a copy. I'm working on a new calendar which should be up in a few days for you to look at, but frankly, I would much rather people just bought the book. I can't mail the calendars media mail.. https://annsan.smugmug.com/Works-in-Print/Books-in-Print/The-First-Time-I-Saw-Paris/ I'm told I can get the 12x12 book for $30 so I would sell it for $40. I don't even have a copy of the book myself because the price wsa so high even for author. This is the link to all the stuff that is made for me by create photo calendars and it will show the prices they are selling the books and calendars for. just showing you here so you can see what is available. Maybe a few of you who live abroad can get someone here to get a copy for you if they are planning to cross either of the big ponds and bring it with them. https://www.createphotocalendars.com/Shop/annsanfedelecalendarsandbooks ann -- ann sanfedele photography https://annsan.smugmug.com https://www.cafepress.com/annsanstuff https://www.lulu.com/spotlight/annsan -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

Re: FS fryday - my little book of picture puzzles..etc
Dan - I ordered 10 of them to sell directly - you needed to read the text above the photos. I did that because they had a super sale on authors /creators prices and since it is a slim volume and small better to get them from me than my new "store" I put the key elements on the smugmug page just to show.. If you would like -one-, just paypal me $12.50 . that will save you money. If you were for any reason buying more calendars or books from the createphotocalendars store then it doesnt matter so much.. It's all about saving friends shipping cost... and keep you away from the temptation of looking at every page of the book in the store, which includes the answers :-) ann On 12/1/2017 12:09 PM, Daniel J. Battery grip for K5/K7. This is a clone unit. Build is pretty good. Selling because I spent the extra to get a Pentax-brand unit. FS Fryday: When owning too much glass is a problem
Amid a loud chorus of No!, here's my struggle. Glass takes up space. It's heavy to carry around. (Which is why I gave up 8x10 -- and THAT was difficult!) I have 3 zooms FA28-105, 18-55WR, and Sigma 70-300 And some primes FA35/2, FA28/2.8, F50/1.7, M*300/4, and the 70/2.4LTD Plus the F 1.7xTC Obviously there is some duplication here. The question is how to thin the herd? I'm thinking of parting with the lower 2 primes, the lower 2 zooms, and just getting the 16-50/2.8. Then I think -- these things will go through the roof when full frame comes out. (someday ...) I remember selling my F*300/4.5 a year before the DSLR came out. That was the dumbest thing I ever sold. What a lens! Problem is ... I have dreams of shooting professionally. But I really don't. I'm more thinking of giving up that fantasy and just enjoying the hobby. So after this thought experiment it comes down to this: FA28-105 - $80 18-55WR - $80 FA35/2 - $300 FA28/2.8 $250 M* 300/4 $200 F1.7x TC $300 And my Blad outfit -- 500C, black 80/2.8 T*, grip, two 120 backs, prism, filters, and even some film. $1000. That will leave me with the Sigma zoom, 50, 70, and I'll add a 16-50 with green left over. And space. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

I'll vouch for the Vivitar 200/3.5; I paid at least that much for the single lens, and thought it a good value. At large apertures, it shows purple fringing on my K10D, but when stopped down it performs quite decently. I use it for trap-focus shooting of birds, since you need a MF lens to do that on the K10D (an AF lens with an AF/MF switch won't work). Re: FS Fryday
Price is being lowered to $520 because, (2 reasons) 1. When in Program or any other A mode it acts like an M lens. I don't know why. Haven't really figured it out yet. But either way, 2. Won't quite focus to infinity. This should be a minor adjustment, but I just don't want to take the time. AF and colors are fine. http://www.brendemuehl.net/images/DaytonAirShow2006/ http://evangelicalperspective.blogspot.com/2006/07/dayton-air-show-2006-12292006-pictures.html Collin At 12:08 PM 7/29/2006, you wrote: Collin, re: the Tamron 300 F2.8.
