On Warn level logging there is nothing from Spotty at all. On Info/Debug there are thousands of lines. Not sure this is normal or not? I've Info would have been good enough :-). I checked the "Actress" case and clearly see that it's getting album information. Did you check the "Only show my library's albums for my library's artists." option? I see that the plugin is checking some albums and they all return "I'm not in your collection". This might prevent them from being displayed. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Also, I did the LmsRepack Update this morning and something strange is now happening... On two of my Raspberry Pis when Listening to streaming Radio after about 20 minutes of listening the Streaming sound was replaced with a 'Motorboating sound' That would not quit until I powered down the Pi and powered it back on. Did it twice so far on one of the Pies... Never experienced this before, so I've got to suspect something in the update I did to LmsRepack this morning. Hi, Spotty 1.3.3 on latest LMS nightly on Windows. When I go to library/Artist/ I do not get an option to list the albums/singles etc for that artist. There only is Top Tracks, Songs, Artist Radio etc. If I then browse to some Related Artist, I get the full list of albums etc, as I think I should have initially. If I go to that Artist through search, the whole list is there. Happens both for web interface and iPeng. I have the multiple user account shown separately. All on a family premium plan. At the start of playback LMS gets told how much time to display and then it just counts down but it starts countdown from when play has been pressed LMS has determined it is playable and not when audio starts. The program duration has to be divided by max segment length to get number of segment. Segment duration vary, for BBC it is usually about max 6.4 (floating point) but they are not exactly 6.4 secs. At one time BBC complained that plugin was always trying to fetch one too many segments beyond end of program so I thought I had it fixed - looks like it ias now too conservative. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104672 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Synology 7.9.1 packages
I just tested playing 24bit/96kHz music from my home collection on my mobile via VPN/4G. Transcoding with LAME should be triggered by this (everything with bitrate >320kbit/s should be transcoded with LAME when streaming to my mobile devices). I can't see the bitrate or format on OrangeSqueeze/SqueezePlayer, but since it played flawlessly, I assume the transcoding happens as expected. pinkdot wrote: > Are you using Spotty? > Are you able to transcode Flac files to PCM? > Would you mind checking if Flac ->PCM is possible? > Yes, I'm using Spotty. Works perfect home using my RPi3/Max2Play based player, and even though I would normally use the native app on my Android mobile, playing music via Spotty (VPN/4G) also works fine on my mobile. With my setup/players there probably hasn't been any need for flac->pcm transcoding. So no, I don't know if that works. I can look at it when I'm home if I can find out how to set it up. I've always found the settings controlling this rather confusing. */Stig* 'www.*rockland*.dk' (http://www.rockland.dk) - 'www.*last.fm*/user/rockland' (https://last.fm/user/rockland) - 'www.*discogs*.com/user/StigNygaard' (https://discogs.com/user/StigNygaard) - '*plus.google*.com/+StigNygaard' (https://google.me/+StigNygaard) *Server:* LMS 7.9.1 ('LmsRepack' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?107180)) - 1503129892 @ Sat Aug 19 on Synology DS716+II. *Clients:* 'RPi3 (Max2Play, 7\" touch, HiFiBerry Digi+ Pro)' (https://shop.max2play.com/en/raspberry-pi-2-bundle-7-display.html), SB Touch, OrangeSqueeze/SqueezePlayer. *Livingroom HiFi:* Marantz PM6005 and F3/Lyd Audiovector 2. So if I want to transcode a FLAC file to PCM, this will not work in LmsRepack. Files are skipped at the client side. Same files with LmsUpdate will play without a problem on the client. Sure enough playback ends before the timer remaining has reached zero. Sometimes 7 seconds sometimes 4 seconds but always early. It plays to the end on the Android iplayer app. Because this program does not seem to have any credits at the end it cuts off in mid sentence.
