I learned something new! Thanks for the log. It's going to sound strange, but on every case it's an error between LMS and the bridge, more precisely LMS disconnects with an "unknown cause" before everything has been sent. The correct format for a weather station identifier based on a US postal zip code is 37830*:4:*US. PS - Starting with SDT version 5.11.26 I added a little more logic to attempt to correct so now entering only the US 5-digit zip code without any suffix will also work. If you enter 37830 then leave the SDT settings page, when you return you will see it has added the :4:US to the end of the zip code. SDT will also add :1: + the 2-character country code to an 8-character alphanumeric weather.codes station identifier entered without the suffix. For example entering USTN0370 will be updated to USTN0370:1:US. For future reference it is a good idea to check server logs if a plugin does not work as expected. Hi Phillipe - thanks for your continued work on these plug-ins. I got around to trying your new version of UPnP Bridge - version 2.0.7.3 on LMS 8.3.0, on a Win 10 laptop with i7 processor. I thought you might want another test result of the new plug-in, as i once again experienced the track skipping/truncation problem we talked about a few months ago with the old plug-in version. My settings for the new Bridge plug-in were completely default, with binary set to "static". The log begins with trying Radio Paradise then another internet radio station briefly (no problems), then an MP3 album. First 2 tracks played fine, advanced to 3rd track, 3rd track skipped to 4th track about 3/4 through, 4th track played then skipped to 5th track about 3/4 through. 5th track played through, and i stopped it after 6th track started. I understand if it is too early to try to troubleshoot individual minor issues like this - I can wait for future updates of the plug-in if you think that will resolve things. PS - as I am not a "github kinda guy", i had no idea how to try your new plug-in until i saw Paul Webster's post in another thread recently about there being an "other repository" field for pasting your link at the bottom of the plug-ins list in LMS. I think Wayne (Angry Goat) has said that synchronization is a hit-or-miss proposition, depending mainly on the phone. I've had it work satisfactorily with various Pixel phones. But as Jim said, the subject is probably best pursued in the SB Player thread. Usually running latest beta LMS nightly on Raspberry Pi OS with virtual players (Squeezelite and Airplay bridge). When I want to do these things, I just do what it takes without thinking much about it. So I might hit "play" only a few times a day. 2) Not sure where you got that take from, my comment was really only an observation after following almost 10k posts on this thread (didn't read them all :)), and also spending a good deal of time in product development myself. I think I was trying to compliment Craig for handling it all, maintaining a balance, that's all. 3) Sync with other players? I wasn't aware. I use SB Player for ear bud listening exclusively. Hi...yeah...well actually it's precisely because Material already handles swipe gestures that I thought my suggestion might be achievable without too much extra coding and that I also mentioned having to include a setting to enable/disable the new feature. Anyway, thanks for answering that particular message...I feel a little less ignored now. ;) It would seem that I'm the only one who finds the direct play button useful, and if I'm honest that's puzzling...but as I mentioned, never mind...particularly since I've now remembered that Squeeze Ctrl, which I had switched away from for Material Apk, does what I want (and more) so I'm back on that!and all's well that ends well. :p nickey's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=55348 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Use an IP address not hostname for the link to LMS ... however, the player should autodiscover LMS and the field is not needed. If you have a complicated LAN set-up then that discovery might not work ... in which case you need it ... but to a fixed IP address not a hostname. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce : BBC Sounds Plugin
Is anyone clearer than me what the import of the upcoming "Schedule and Format Changes" to BBC R4 Extra? The Beeb are saying that this week it will become Non-Broadcast and Non-Linear, but will still be accessible via BBS Sounds. I'm wondering is "Non-Linear" means that it won't simply stream all day, but that listeners will have to pick an indivdual program to stream. If so, I'm wondering how I can allocate a preset to the "Station", rather than just to one of its offerings? 8.2.1 - 1639114554 Win11 Control: Web GUI; MaterialSkin on Android phones / pads b) Freebox Pop Wifi6 / Mesh External SSD, WiFi Laptop 2 x Touch LAN (Firmware:8.0.1-r16907) 2 x SB Radios, Wireless (8.0.1-r16907) agbagb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7034 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113045 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
